Is there a generally accepted place to ask for help with setting up homebrew on DnDBeyond? If not there should be. If there is and this aint it, please forgive me.
I'm trying to add a magic item I homebrewed; the following properties I am pretty sure there is a way to input on DnDBeyond so it comes up on my player's sheet correctly but I'm having some trouble.
1. It is technically a great club, but I wanted to replace its damage die of 1d8 with 1d10. Under modifiers I chose replace damage type -> Bludgeoning and put the damage dice roll as 1d10. This did NOT work, it still comes up under actions as 1d8.
2. I thought this one would be simple... it is meant to be a +3 weapon, so +3 to attack and damage rolls... cannot for the life of me figure out a way to do this though?
3. This issue is actually resolved, I'm just curious if I did it 'right' or if it was unnecessary to do both. The item increases its user's Strength Score and Strength score max by 1; under modifiers for the item I did bonus -> strength score and put a fixed value of 1, AND I did Bonus -> ability score maximum and for primary stat put STR, fixed value 1. I believe this worked, when I tested it his STR did indeed go from 20 to 21. I'm just curious if everyone thinks that is 'right'.
If anyone could help with the above issues I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks so much for your help everyone! Got it taken care of.
Stormknight, as I am sure you are already aware your suggestions worked down pat. Thank you so very much.
I still can't believe that the modifier subtype for making it a +X weapon is just called 'magic'. Like, it makes sense but at the same time it doesn't? Oh well. Now I know.

#1) Can’t change damage dice as of yet.
#2) Add Modifier, Modifier Type = Bonus, Modifier Subtype = Magic, Fixed Value = 3. That will give you a +3 to attack and damage.

3 is right. You do have to use those 2 modifiers to do that. The official items do it the same way.
You can make copies of official content that does something you want to copy to see what modifiers it uses.
It's not possible to change the base weapon damage (the dice) of the weapon with the current system.
The best approach is to find a base weapon that has the damage dice you want and use that as the basis for the magic weapon.
So, whilst it's a little intuitive, in this case I would approach this by doing the following:
