I'm trying to homebrew as set of adamantine gloves. They have short, 2 inch, retractable claws on them. I'm not trying to be Wolverine, their more for stealth, wall climbing to be specific.
Anyway, Dungeon Master gave them to me and said they have the adamantine quality, but also magic damage. I'm trying to add both of those as damage types in the homebrew workshop, but I can't figure out how. I've tried six ways to Sunday.
There is no “magic damage.” And damage from “magical means” such as from spells or magic items. Since we cannot create nonmagic items on DDB (yet) you must by default be making a magic item, and so by default they do magic damage.
As for Adamantine, you put it in the description and that gets checked off directly on the character sheet.

Thank you. I'm still more of a noob than I care to admit. Your answer was polite.
The homebrew system here is not the easiest to navigate. If you need any other help, just ask.
