Yes it is actually very easy, just go on homebrew magic item then add a modifier first thing then do bonus and in the next section you can find melee attack and then just put 2 in fixed value.
So I tried making the ring. With a modifier of Bonus - melee attack and another trying to do "damage type: Lightning". But neither of them are actually showing up on the ring. Any thoughts?
If you attach the modifier to increase all melee weapon attack rolls by 1 it will only “show up on the ring” if you add it as txt. Otherwise the modifier will simply increase all of your Melee Weapon Attack rolls by 1. There is no way to increase the damage of all melee attack rolls by 1 lightning damage. That would have to be done as plain text and the player will just have to remember to add it.
Is it possible to create a ring that will add +2 damage to all melee attacks?
