 The glyph fades.

The floor below the door seems a little loose when he touches it.

"This door doesn't appear trapped but the floor below it is loose. Everyone get back."

Dusk will wait for everyone to get back then use Mage Hand to attempt to open the door at a distance (as much as the room/spell allows).

The door opens.

Maerwyn doesn't seem pleased about the disappearance of the glyph. Indeed, she has been willing to examine the glyph and it might have revealed something unusual after another round of close inspection. When the door opens, she expresses her reluctance to advance, then offers politely:

"Gents first."

Magron will push the floor with his hammer to see what happens 

The floor opens up and shows a long pit. If anyone looks down, at the bottom they see a huge pool of acid and many oozes. Beside the huge pool of acid, there's land that's separated by metal walls that are partially dissolved.

Maerwyn will search for ledges attached to the tunnel or any kind of way, method or equipment that can be used to get down without getting harmed by the Oozes and the corrosive liquid.

Maerwyn seems frustrated at the consecutive random events and decided to propose a durable solution:  "Let's get out of this hell hole and return to the tavern for a good night's sleep. We will come back another day to deal with our unfinished task. What do you say?"

"If we wait, the plane-shifted mindflayer could return. They could take more innocent lives during the night. They could set more effective traps now that they can expect us and have witnessed what we can do. We may as well press on. Now the question is through the door or down the hole?"

"Trap? What if these oozes and pool of acid are nothing but another set of illusion similar to the glyph?"- Maerwyn will express her enquiry while she has been attempting to recall something that might provide her with an idea of the existence of magical means.

She can tell that if it was an illusion, that kind of illusion would most likely require powerful magic. 

"How do you know the glyph was an illusion?" Dusk enquired. "The oozes might be an illusion, although I doubt it. But if they are - bonus for us, then. I'm not exactly the most motivated person but even I am not keen on the idea of leaving and coming back tomorrow. That will just makes things more difficult and make everything we have done so far a complete and total waste. If you really need to go - then go. I'm going to proceed on, with or without you. How about you Grom and Magron?"

Dusk doesn't actually wait for a response and flies into the next room to take a look around, with Wispy following. 

OOC: How big is the gap in the floor, would Fire Spirit (who can squeeze through narrow spaces, since he's just living fire) be able to get across?
