Eve looks to where Maudath indicates and draws in a sharp intake of breath. “Huh?! Oh my!… Yes, we should maybe try and sneak on past!…”, she whispers…

Eve’sstealth check: 6
Eve doesn’t like their chances of sneaking away… She tries to throw up a quick minor illusion to help, a wall of snow 5ft by 5ft between them and the yeti so it can’t see them at least, and so they can head away in a straight line, directly away, if need be…
”Come on!…”, she whispers, ducking down and encouraging everyone away, under cover of the snowy illusion…
"It's a yeti!", the Professor says excitedly, but quietly.
Some of you may notice over the clanking of Ryhunis and Eve, that the Professor's armor is much quieter than it has been before today, as he slips quietly behind some snowbanks.
Stealth: 22
((New feature gives advantage on stealth, which cancels out his disadvantage, so flat roll.))

Maudath watches the yeti with fascination. He thinks he could crouch here quite a while just watching. But then the sound of Ryhunis knocking into a small tree and Eve's small feet stomping on the road swing his attention back to the group.
It is still eating so it might not care that we're here, he thinks to himself.
He does his best to scuttle over behind Eve's fake snow wall to see what the yeti does next.
Iris scurries after the others behind the illusory wall, tucking her glowing shield under her cloak so it doesn't attract attention. She cringes at the noise Eve and Ryhunis are making, then glances over to where Maudath is crouched next to her. "As much as I hate to say this, we may need to prepare for a fight,"she whispers.

The yeti pauses at the sound of movement and looking around doesn't see you all, however you see him raise his nose and sniff the air turning his head toward the illusory snowbank and taking several deep inhales before dropping his meal and standing.
"Dropping it's food doesn't seem like a good sign. Can't imagine what it would take for me to drop my lunch," Maudath whispers. "I can lead it away from here and if it comes at me, it's back will be exposed for the rest of you."
Maudath would be lying if he said the idea of tussling with a yeti didn't sound like fun. He'd heard stories but this was a real live yeti.
With his sword drawn, he raises up a little, his legs coiled, ready to spring.
Eve grabs Maudath’s arm, “You can’t!!…”, she whispers. “We’ll all just run!…”. But her face and her heart sinks, as she realises they’ll never outrun that thing…
She let’s Maudath’s arm go. But that’s all the consent she’ll give…
((OOC: all this time Eve would have been backpedaling away and encouraging the others away. About how far away are we?!))
As soon as Eve lets go of Maudath's arm, Iris immediately grabs onto it. "Absolutely not, you'll get yourself killed, and I'll be too far away to fix you in time," she whispers hurriedly. "We either run at it or away, but we do it together."
She maintains her hold on Maudath's forearm and gives him the look.
With that, (and sensing Eve’s predicament telepathically) there’s a sudden shuffle and a scrabble inside Eve’s coat…. A tiny devil bursts out and flutters a few feet away, seeming to rely heavily on its right wing, and desperately flapping its slightly-torn-and-ragged left wing, double-time, to stay aloft.
Ipkiss looks at the yeti, back at Eve and then back at the yeti. To Eve he instructs her, “Dismiss me with a thought if I get in any trouble”. Then to the party,“Otherwise… All of you… … RUN, YOU FOOLS!!…”.
With that, he tears off towards the Yeti…
((Ipkiss will try to annoy the Yeti, but keep out of reach… Flying around it, shouting insults, or above it dropping snow on it. And turn on and off invisibility as needed and dodging if he seems in any danger. If he’s hit or grabbed or anything else, he’ll scream for Eve to dismiss him from this plane of existence. He just wants to give a moment of distraction and time for the party to get away. If he can lead the yeti in the other direction he will. And if he successfully distracts the yeti long enough, he’ll turn invisible, and fly high, to get back to Eve)).
Eve will run (assuming the rest of the party do), and keep looking back…
When the Yeti and Ipkiss are outside of her devil sight / darkvision range ((120ft)), she’ll dismiss him and re-summon him back to her ((an action each I think)). She’ll do this early if he is in peril, or if he screams at her to.
"Truly you are heroes, even from a Yeti you run away. Mortals, always the same thing" she says while she sighs "Heed my warning kids you can't always run, litle man tell me the usual size, wieght, strenght, fears and what yetis most enjoy"
Maudath watches Ipkiss flout about, tormenting the yeti with a smile on his face.
"Now that's entertaining," he says to himself.
As the others run back for further cover, Maudath waits to make sure the Yeti doesn't charge after them. He knows he can delay it long enough that they can get further away if needed.

Gonna roll to see if the yeti goes after Ipkiss or you guys. He's got your scent so he is looking for what he smells. Under 12 he will focus on Ipkiss, 12 to 16 he comes after you guys but at half speed due to the harassment from Ipkiss , Higher than 16 he ignores Ipkiss completely and full speed at you guys.

The small Imp flys as fast as he can toward the yeti, yelling in infernal at it. He swarms arounds it head as the yeti swings towards him
22 moving much faster than the little devil anticipated landing a massive claw attack for 5 points of bludgeoning damage.
I assume you all are running as fast as you can so you are using your action to dash. Eve you are midway in your run when you barely hear the tiny imp scream out in pain. You can stop and use your action to bamf him back to the 9 hells and resummon him next round or you can use your action to dash and hope he can survive another round. Which is it? (I will allow you all to see her stop and stop yourselves if you want depending on what she does, or keep going)
You all got a big headstart on the yeti, but you don't know how fast they are.

Even as he rests, Ipkiss seems to sense Eve’s awkwardness and unease, and begins to stir, from within his cosy little harness.
Instinctively, Eve ‘thinks’ a gentle ‘Shhhh….’, to him, which seems to work, and he settles back down for now.

Maudath sees the yeti slash the imp with a massive swipe of its claws.
"After all we went through to help Eve rescue the wee devil, this happens?" Maudath says to himself. "No. That's not happening."
He stands up from behind the fake snow barrier.
"Hey. Over here."
Maudath waves his great sword in the air and then heads towards the yeti at full speed.
