(Let's just handwave it then. The wagon could not go around the city, the undead would require a disguise to go through it. It is not a big enough issue that I feel we need to spend more time on it though.)

Yashin drives the newly acquired wagon, replacing the one lost on the way to Baldur’s Gate, and keeps a fast pace, eager to gain some of the time lost in the city. His pack lies within easy reach, his newly acquired shield laying on top. It has remained quiet since leaving the city.
“What are we lugging all of those blocks around for? What are you making back there? A statue, or a mobile castle?”Yashin keeps up an easy conversation with those near the wagon and tries to figure out what Brock is up to with the blocks of marble. As they finally approach the mountains, he keeps a sharp lookout for trouble. “Anyone have any idea where we head next?”
"Trust me if I was making a castle, I wouldn't use marble and I would need a lot of stone blocks to make it. Every dwarf knows a trade alongside whatever fighting they do. I'm just passing the time working on mine. It pays to practice so you don't get rusty," says Brock.
(Brock would spend most of his time working on the first stone block making a statue. It is up to the DM about how long Brock would take working on it.)

Grishkar places his sentries around the campsite, ordered to lay down and stand if anyone comes near. His raven is sent aloft to watch overhead, given instructions to alert its master should anything approach within a hundred feet. Feeling himself secure, the necromancer huddles under the back of his wagon. Sleep is difficult as some unseen discomfort plagues him. To occupy his mind, he buries himself in one of two arcane tomes kept within his robes.

As you are setting up camp for the night, both of you notice birds swirling in the distance ahead of you. It is further up the road, likely about a half-day's ride further along. Due to the distance you realize it is quite a large flock of birds swirling around something on the ground at that point. The foothills though do not allow for a view of the ground around where the birds are located.
Brock and Callandra
I'll look into the potion and crafting requirements and post something in the OOC about how long each takes.
Yashin
During the past couple nights of sleep you have had some rather uncomfortable dreams. They have included demons, dragons, and various other powerful creatures. The one item that has been the same in each is that an angelic figure seems to be standing protectively over you, with wings flared out, protecting you from whatever the danger is. In the morning you get the sense that the shield is aiding you against whatever is causing these dreams.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kallandra moves up to the front, putting her book away. Her spell to turn her bow into something that casts flaming arrows is progressing, though slowly. She points out the cloud of birds to Brock and the others. "What do you make of that? Carrion eaters? I think we should check into it."
ooc: Does Kallandra have any ideas other than that Nature 12
Umeven moves up next to Kallandra. "I can do it myself, but how about you and I go have a look? I enjoy a little company." He gives you an unsubtle look, trying to use his eyes to express a little warning and direct her to follow him.
Ssej looks around the group and notices the activity from Umeven and Kallandra and moves over to them. "What iss bothering the two of you? Do you need help or sshould I sstay back and protect the resst." Then he will move his horse right up beside Umeven and whisper in his ear, "Apologiess for not ressponding to your concernss the other morning, I wass not paying attention to anything around me ass I wass focussed on my desstination and had ssome inner conflict going on. We can talk about your concernss later tonight."
(It is already late afternoon/evening. The place with the birds is at least half of a day's travel from here, as I stated before. No one is going to check it out tonight, not unless you wish to travel through the night and start making constitution checks vs exhaustion.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kallandra nods to Umeven and Ssej. "It's too far to go tonight, Umeven, but we can discuss possibilities later." She returns her gaze to the birds "We should investigate that tonight though," she says. She pulls open a [Tooltip Not Found] hanging at her side and rummages around inside. As she does, she mutters something under her breath as her pinky points at Umeven for a second to send him a Message: I know you have something to discuss, she whispers, tell me briefly. Only I will hear.
Then she pulls out a small furry object which she tosses to the ground.
ooc: Gray Bag of Tricks 6 - Panther, first roll was a 5. After I added the link for panther it changed to 8, but I'm going with the panther.
After the creature forms, she points at the cloud of birds and says, "Go see what's happening there and come back and tell me. Be stealthy when you get close."
After the creature runs off, she turns to Grishkar. "Grishkar, will you send your familiar to have a look, too?"
A disgruntled sigh creeps up from behind the necromancer's wagon. "Ugh, fine. But if we get ambushed and could've done with eyes above, you'll hear from me first." A moment later, the fluttering black form takes off toward the distance swarm.

Yashin stares at the swirling flock of birds in the distance with Kallandra and the others. “Yeah, it looks like something has caught their interest on the ground. Could mean trouble. Definitely worth checking out tonight.” Seeing that Kallandra and Grishkar have the situation well in hand with their scouts, Yashin turns his attention back to help set up camp. He pulls out his new shield and stares at it, trying to connect with it once again.
“I see you in my dreams. Are you protecting me from those demons? What does it mean, is there danger ahead?”
Finished with his shield, Yashin flexes and strikes a pose, calling out to Brock and laughing “Brock, make your statue look like me. You will make us famous.”
"Hmm must be a big kill, with so many birds around," says Brock putting down his work to help set up camp.
After getting settled Brock returns to his work and hearing what Yashin says turn the statue up to him and shows him his work. Currently the statue is still rough, but an outline of a goliath can be seen. "Already doing so my friend. I'm creating a statue as a pray for all of you. I wanted to keep it secret a bit longer, but seems like you already guess what I was doing," says Brock
Ok, the panther and the raven will be back in about ten hours, so what do you plan to do in the meantime? Also, the panther cannot report anything, it is only an animal, not able to communicate with Callandra in any meaningful way, so not sure what sort of information you plan on getting there... Does anyone have a way to see invisible things? Truesight, See invisibility, blindsight, or even a Tressym familiar?
Yashin
After you look at the shield for a bit, you get the following message to your thoughts...
"I do what I may to protect you from outside threats. I can do little to help you against those in your midst though. Be wary of Callandra, I believe she may be a wolf in sheep's clothing..."
