The creature was indeed a pure evil! Kairus felt like he lost half of his life in that one blow but right now felt like attack was more important. The hissing, that proved to be efficient against reptiles of the island, expressed his feeling well enough:
Dissonant Whispers for 13 (Wis save 15 for half and no effect) Should it make save - Silvery Barbs for re-roll with advantage to Krodhen.
"Do not despare! We will prevail and cleanse that evil!" It sounded "paladin-like" enough at least in his mind to encourage Krodhen (Bardic Inspiration to Krodhen)
Kairus took a serious hit, but not as serious as some of his companions. Noticing Krodhen suffer, the bard focuses first on forcing the enemy away, at least temporarily. His cittern sends dissonant whispers to fill the undead creature's mind. (Undead Captain takes 12 psychic damage.)
Arcanely forced to move away {AL-88}, the captain opens herself to an opportunity attack.
(Rhogal's turn is still up. Yulmiath can perform a opportunity attack if he so chooses.)
Rhogal, relieved his sharky form cushioned the brunt of the blast, decides that this creepy thing also needs to be fungally marked. Being able to breathe underwater for the moment actualy makes the effort more easily done.
(OOC Yulmiath does so choose to do an opportunity attack! Don't think reckless attack works for it though, so no GWM for it either. Think bless would though, so here's 4 (4) to bump up the to hit roll.)

Given the opportunity to attack, Yulmiath pounces on it! His greataxe swings through the water just as easily as it travels through the air. (Undead Captain takes 5 slashing damage.)
As the axe hits the captain, a chill travels up Yulmiath's arms. (Yulmiath takes 10 cold damage.)
It is just about then that Hun's hurled frost fire mote reaches the fleeing captain. Or it would, that is, if the captain had not been forced to move.
Despite not being able to see, Rhogal commands some spores to light up the area in the back of the boat. Seconds after the druid resumes his dwarven shape, the undead captain begins to suddenly glow in a fungi-enabled biolumenescense, as does part of her ship and the sarcophagus.
Prioritizing his and his construct's health, lest they reduce their usefulness in this fight, Hun commands Mr. Thicc to repair the most glaring of damage on his body. The artificer does the same as the pair readjusts their position in the battlefield. (Hun recovers 8 HP; Mr. Thicc recovers 9 HP.)
By then, Yulmiath is ready to give chase to the captain {AK-88} and deliver another greataxe attack. This one is even more successful than the first, as it is fueled by sparking rage! (Undead Capitan takes 24 slashing and lightning damage.)
Another harming chill harms the dragonborn's fingers as he strikes the enemy a second time. (Yulmiath takes 5 cold damage.)

Able to stand her ground now, the captain turns and immediately retaliates against Yulmiath. It does so once with its boney arm and once with her waist-level tentacle:

The captain's retaliation comes with a fury to match the dragonborn's. Her sharp arm slashes across the barbarian's chest, opening and immediately freezing a gaping wound. (Yulmiath takes 10 slashing and cold damage.)
Her follow-up attack comes from waist-level. Much like the ink she spewed, the tentacle seems to suck its target's life away. This last strikes proves to be too much even for the stout dragonborn. Although his immunologic system succeeds flawlessly in fighting back whatever infection the captain's strikes carry, Yulmiath still falls unconscious. (Yulmiath takes 14 necrotic damage and becomes unconscious, incapacitated, and prone.)
-> Yulmiath's Rage subsides.
With the first intruder down, the captain shambles toward the second {AI-84}. Just as he finishes repairing himself, Mr. Thicc looks up to face the captain.
(Kairus, Rhogal, Hun, Yulmiath, and Krodhen can all take their turns. Unless something changes, Yulmiath needs to roll a DEATH saving throw. Bless still applies.)

Hun grimaced seeing Yulmiath taken down as swiftly as he had been, but then quickly screwed his expression into a determined look. He swam with all his worth to the ship and even boldly settle upon it as if to splinter the undead's attention. There is time to strike - and time to heal. Right now it was time to heal, at least a little bit (Kairus deeply regretted his neglect of the gods right now). From hos position he could not see what exactly was happening with the dragonborn, but it did not look good and oceanic waters carried the healing tune to the (temporary) defeated crewmate.
Come to think of it, Kairus could do both - heal and attack. And so he did! With the undead now perfectly illuminated it was like shooting a target practice:

Buoyed by the resolve of the others, and seeing Yul rouse, he wipes the rest of the muck from bubble helm and pushes in close (AH85), hoping to make the most of what might be his only strike
Assuming the attack hits, Krodhen's eyes light up and he feels another surge of power flow through the weapon, adding a Divine Smite for an additional 13 radiant damage.
Swiftly pulling his crossbow from this back while the cittern hangs from its strap, Kairus then sends a bolt traveling through the salty water and dishes just as much damage as he healed. (Undead Captain takes 10 piercing damage.)
Rhogal also attacks the enemy without getting closer. He invokes some hungry aquatic spores but they fail to travel quickly enough to reach their quarry. (@Drache: Don't forget you have a DM's Inspiration token.)
Seeing how quickly the dragonborn was taken down, Hun decides to relive him from tanking duties, at least temporarily. The kobold joins Mr. Thicc in melee combat against the captain, and starts off by trowing a net at the enemy. It works, and the captain is now restrained. The construct then follows that up with a powerful punch, crunching a bone from his new spot above the sarcophagus. (Undead Captain takes 4 force damage.)
Edit:Mr. Thicc takes 4 cold damage.

Leaning back as he pulls his greataxe through the water, he tries to put a little extra spice on this one!

Krodhen swims to Yulmiath's side, swinging his new flail at the creature and invoking Tyr's justice to multiply the attack's power. A chill also travels Krodhen's arm. (Undead Captain takes 21 magical bludgeoning and radiant damage; Krodhen takes 10 (8) cold damage.)
