06. Hun & Mr. Thicc (33/35 & 25/26; green) - DM's Inspiration Token;
05. Yulmiath (42/45; red) -
MAPS:
NOTES: I'm using a raven token to represent Seagull-Krodhen.
(Krodhen, Kairus, and Rhogal can take their turns. Although there was a Xorn in front of them a moment ago, they do not see any enemies at the moment.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"And stay there!" Kairus did not really believe in monster's compliance, though, and actively watched his surroundings for the menace to suddenly appear and attack. (Perception 11 or with Luck 14 )

With the danger(?) gone for the moment, Rhogal is curious what sorts of fungus might exist in this cave. He might have achieved what he was looking for earlier in the adventure, but that doesn't overwrite his interests. He tosses some spores in the air to aid in his search. Mushrooms are strangely social, after all.
Not seeing an enemy, Krodhen (auto-pilot) sticks to the original plan. He maintains his avian form and makes sure he is not touching the ground.
Kairus takes a different approach. Suspecting that it won't be long before he sees that xorn again, the triton tries to anticipate its moves by looking intently at the ground, walls, and ceiling. He sees nothing that would help him pinpoint the enemy's location. No stone turns, to dust is kicked up, no patch of soil shifts. Nothing.
Much calmer than the others, Rhogal takes the extra moment afforded to him to study the fungi in the cave, or at least the specimens he can spot with a quick look about. He identifies the white cotton-like mycelium of Poria vaillantii growing on rotting wooden crates, some Paecilomyces sprouting from dead insects and crabs, as well as some perfectly edible Agaricus bisporus clusters in a few corners.
Moving quickly, each pair of these strangely shrunken creatures attacks one of the Snackers within the temple lounge. Their receded lips make it look like they perpetually display a malevolent smile on their faces.

(OOC: Those "[Tooltip not found]" attacks above are supposed to say "Venomous Claws".)
Their sudden leap out of the urns is enough to startle Yulmiath. The dragonborn still has his defenses down when the creatures swipe their long claws at him. The second attack leaves behind an extra painful feeling. (Yulmiath takes 15 slashing and poison damage and is now poisoned.)
Hun also seems to be startled, but less so than his fellow scaled sailor. After the first set of claws rake against his body, the kobold flinches hard enough to avoid the second. (Hun takes 7 slashing and poison damage.)
Mr. Thicc's metal plates open up with each claw that snags it. Thankfully, their venom means little to the construct. (Mr. Thicc takes 10 slashing damage.)
"Tch! Bloody things! You won't find us so easy a prey! Mr. Thicc! Full Defensive for now. And Mr. Yully! Hang in there! I still have your back!"Hun yells as he launches one of his frostfire bombs over o one of he creatures harrying Yulmiaht, as his own hurts... they didn't matter for the moment. Nevertheless, a glare is shot soon after towards the one more close at hand.
Action(Hun): Cast (Cantrip)Frostfire Bomb on one of Yulmiath's Attackers. Con Save(DC 14) or take 4 Cold Damage and suffer disadvantage on next attack.

Poxy little beggers! Ambushing someone elbow deep in a rotten couch is just not on!
Bonus Action: RAGE!
Turning on the two closest to him (MF,68/69, right?) Yulmiath swings his greataxe recklessly (w. GWM), looking to split one of his attackers in two and thus, begin to even the odds.
Attack: 21 Damage: 25
If one of the two Topi dies, Yully directs his storm aura towards the suvivor, if not, then lets focus down on one. (DC13 Dex save or 3 lightning damage. Half damage on a save.)
(OOC How does Yully's Mark of Heroism work? Is it a bonus action to activate?)
(@MB: Charm of Heroism: This charm allows you to give yourself the benefit of a potion of heroism as an action. Once you do so, the charm vanishes from you.)
(@Blue: We are following initiative order as if the two battlefronts were part of the same fight, so hang tight with your next turn. You are certainly welcome to use the search action again then.)
(@MB: Yes, the two enemies in melee with Yulmiath are indeed at {MF-68} and {MF-69} at the moment.)
Hun and Mr. Thicc snap into action after being slashed. The kobold launches one of his frostfire vials in support of Yulmiath's struggle but the targeted creature shrugs off the cold effect. Separately, the construct enhances his defenses.
Yulmiath also jumps into it with an attack, his enchanted greataxe swiftly splitting one foe into two non-perfect halves. (Topi#6 takes 26 magical slashing damage and is DEFEATED.)
The defeated foe's companion feels the force of the weapon impact in the form of a jolt of electricity. (Topi#5 takes 5 lightning damage.)
Still focused on the fungi around him, the first attack hits Rhogal by surprise. The dwarf is able to shift into a combat stance before the other attacks come at him, but two sets of claws still manage to rake his torso. (Rhogal takes 31 piercing and slashing damage.)
After the attacks, the Xorn immediately sinks into the ground again.
-> Rhogal can perform an opportunity attack if he sees fit, but because the enemy is mostly covered by the ground, it will receive a large cover bonus.
NOTES: I'm using a raven token to represent Seagull-Krodhen.
(Krodhen, Kairus, and Rhogal can take their turns. Kairus is welcome to keep his search action roll as posted above, but @Blue can also reconsider their post if desired.)

"Hmpf!" Not noticing anything Kairus glanced back at the slowly opening wall and then looked around once again.
(Am I right and you can do a "search" every round? In case it is and it's the next round for the cave party, another Perception check: 20)
