Despite just regaining consciousness, Kairus heroically offers to hold the beast off so the others can make their escape. Krodhen lingers a while longer, and Rhogalreinforces the triton's constitution before leading the way out of the cave. (Kairus recovers 17 HP.)
Rhogal gathers just enough speed to run past his companions and begin to squeeze through the opening passageway. He is currently in a horizontal position, somewhat stuck in the hole {LW-89}. Although his head is already into the next chamber, his focus is on escaping the cave's threat and leaving the passage open for his friends; hence, he notices little about his new surroundings at this moment. The room is dark, but Rhogal's darkvision lets him at least notice the silhouette of worked pillars and wooden crates spread about a large room back into the temple.
Their prey has fled and their path is blocked. The Topi turn to retaliate against another foe, seemingly unable to comprehend the difference between a humanoid and a construct.

Mr. Thicc dedicates all of his arcane-powered attention to nullify the first Topi's pounce, opening himself for the second's. A large gash in the construct's back plating is what amounts to the attack's aftermath. (Mr. Thicc takes 8 slashing damage.)

Meanwhile, Yulmiath swings his axe for a fifth time and kills his fifth Topi. A stray lightning bolt marks the last Topi as the dragonborn's next victim. (Topi#2 takes 34 magical slashing damage and is DEFEATED; Topi#1 takes 3 lightning damage.)

IN THE DAMP CAVE
Krodhen is introduced to the Xorn's collection of irregular sharp fangs, while Kairus takes another claw strike despite his best efforts to avoid them. (Krodhen takes 28 piercing damage; Kairus takes 5 slashing damage.)
The monster once again slips into the earth, prompting the half-orc to try his luck at retaliation:
Kairus did not change his stances just yet, urging Rhogal to get to the other side faster and let Krodhen get through. Only after both got to the room would he join them all. (continues Dodging meanwhile)
Sticking to the plan and noticing Kairus's insistence on being the one to hold the proverbial fort, Krodhen moves closer to the gap and gets ready to squeeze through it once Rhogal frees up the way.
As Kairusprepares for another round of attacks, Rhogal finally makes his way to the next chamber over and takes a look around. This large, dark, pillared chamber is strewn with chests, crates, and other containers. Looking to his right (north), Rhogal sees a set of double door which is preceded by a short twenty-foot-wide, twenty-foot-long hallway. Looking to his left (south), Rhogal sees a longer hallway that leads into darkness. Looking behind him (east), Rhogal sees Krodhen coming through the hole on the wall. From this angle, it looks like the paladin is crawling out the mouth of a giant stone visage rendered in bas-relief. The face is that of a divinely beautiful woman with kelp for hair, eyelids like seashells, and a vaguely menacing half-smile.This relief is placed within an alcove, giving it extra prominence. By now, the Snackers have no doubt that the face, which is 12 feet tall and 10 feet wide, represents the sea goddess Umberlee.
Everything is covered with dust. Nonetheless, two patterns break through this thick layer of dust. First, the many closed chests, barrels, and crates are surrounded by a veritable fortune in loose coins. Second, the floor of the short hallway leading to the double doors to the north is covered by broken bones, dry blood, and forgotten weapons.
Hun's spirits began to rise again as he sees only but one adversary remained on the field. Yet as he went to throw another bomb, the kobold flinches in pain and nearly drops it at his feet, as many of recent injuries flared up in overextending an arm. Thankfully, nimble fingers manage to keep the vial between two, and out of frustration he shouts for Mr. Thicc to "Finish the Job! Destroy that undead halfling!"Then after a moment or two, Hun eventually finds the strength to follow through on an underhand toss of the bomb, doubling down on the creature's destruction... or so he hoped!
Action(Hun): Cast (Cantrip)Frostfire Bomb on final Topi. Con Save(DC 14) or take 2 Cold Damage and additional debilitation.
Bonus Action(Hun): Command Mr. Thicc to strike a Topi.
Action(Mr. Thicc): Cast Disruptor Fist on Topi. (Melee, Lethal)Force Rend - Attack: 11 Damage: 10 of Force.
Future Reaction(Mr. Thicc): Using Deflect Attack on 1st attack directed at Yulmiath.

In a moment of pain, Hun commands Mr. Thicc to attack first. The construct quickly charges another punch which causes the Topi's chest to cave in upon impact. For a split second, it looks like the fight is over but, unlike its companions, this last undead creature shows a refusal to stay down. As it begins to prepare another lunge at Mr. Thicc, Hun finally overcomes his pain and throws one more cold vial. The projectile flies lazily through the air before crashing on the ground, too far away from the last Topi to harm it. (Topi#1 takes 8 force damage.)
Yulmiath is not about to let the Topi do as it wills, however. Although the barbarian swings his axe and misses for the first time in this particular encounter, his wrathful aura still strikes the little foe with a glancing blow. (Topi#1 takes 3 lightning damage.)
This last enemy proves to be the most resilient of all. Now also sizzling, the little creature stands back up for a second time in just a few seconds.
The xorn is back to only having one target to choose from. The creature relies on its instincts to attack at irregular time intervals and on its ability to "swim" through rock and soil to stay mostly unseen. Kairus cannot time the first strike with certainty, but he upped his defenses exactly because of this.
-> Bite vs. Kairus (unseen, dodge): Attack: 17 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Swirling out of the way in the last second, Kairus avoids the brunt of the Xorn's attack, although a stray claw still manages to catch the acrobatic triton's foot. (Kairus takes 6 slashing damage.)
Once again, the Xorn sinks into the ground after its attacks.
(Kairus can perform an opportunity attack, remembering that the Xorn gets a considerable cover bonus.)
