*I'm going to roll stats here so people are sure i'm not cheating. I usually roll off screen, or just use standard array, so... yeah.*
Stats (If standard array is better, ill use that): 18, 18, 7, 10, 16, 13
Not to be "that guy," but you appear to have forgotten to drop the lowest die in your rolls. (You have "dropLowest(0)" rather than "dropLowest(1)".)
EDIT: That you still managed to roll a 7 and a 10 with that is rather impressive....

Ignore that, i've never used online dice for this..... but i'll keep the rolls, since a 7 and 10 is good balance, that and i can't figure out how to change it

The roll using drop 1 would be 15, 15, 7, 10, 14, 12. The stats above are the results of rolling 4d6 for all stats.

Well, it'd really be 15, 15, 6, 9, 14, 12, which is actually pretty fair... you could literally even achieve this with point buy, if point buy let you drop a stat from 8 to 6 and recover 3 points.

I agree with RodTheBard. You need to drop rolls.... two 18s is crazy high. So 15, 15 6, 9, 14, 12 are your stats.

One six is not bad at all. It gives you some nice quirk to do role-play with. Imagine you play a wizard with strength 6. You'd have little more problems with saving throws but other than that it will not affect your game much. Same for a barbarian with Charisma 6 or a heavily armoured fighter with dexterity 6. It all depends what you'd like to play. That said, I would recommend not to put 6 into constitution, which is the only real characteristic that is universally important as it relates to your hit points.

Yeah, i figured. Also doesn't help that most of the stats i use are all important to my cclass. not to mention i have no clue what race to play. I'm leaning at just custom lineage or variant human.

Well, you can always use point buy. Your roll is quite average so you don't lose much going that route but, personally, sometimes when I only had access to point buy I wished that I could sell points below 8.

That's one of the option available for character creation. Standard array is one (that was mention before), rolling 3d6 for each stats (or variants thereof) is another, and a last one is point buy. Point buy is essentially a more flexible standard array in terms of the dice statistics, because you can choose from a variety of relatively likely rolls. With Point buy you get 27 points and start with each stat at a value of 8. Then, you can spend your 27 points one after the other to increase each of the six stats. You can increase your stats to a value of 13 at a point price of 1 point per point increase, from thereon, i.e. from 13 to 14 and from 14 to 15 it costs 2 points from your budget. 15 is the maximum value that can be achieved by point buy. You can find details in the Player handbook Chapter 1 section 3, Variant rule for ability scores.

So i can get higher stats, but more average. however it also keeps me from getting below an 8.

Character Stats: I used the stats i rolled, heres the final stuff: (Str: 6) (Dex:14) (Con:16) (Int:15) (Wis:9) (Cha:14)
Character name: Aeron. (I don't give last names, but i like the meaning i made for the name)
Character race/lineage: Scourge Aasimar (Reason:You'll see, but its mostly just a simple thing i liked that translates well to this)
Character Class: Maverik Artificer (Real fun, i reccomend it)
Role: Jack of all trades, master of none. Aeron takes pride in being versatile. However, most of the spells i took or plan to take are good at support and debuff with a bit of damage sprinkled in. So i'd say 'Support' is a good area to put him in. Not a healer, not a blaster, but inbetween.
Backstory: Bit long, so i put it in the spoiler
Aeron was born with a rare genetic disease that was passed down from his family. Its extremely dormant, barely anyone having had this disease within years and years of it existing. Because of this, the disease is not widely known, and this means there isn't a cure to it. This disease caused his arcane viens to be..... well, unregulated. Every creature has some form of arcane viens, its what allows the use of magic by wizards, sorcerers, druids, warlocks, etc. The only thing one needs is to be able to properly output the magic in the form of a spell. In Aeron's case however, whatever was supposed to keep his magic in check just.... didn't. He was unable to cast spells, and if he tried in any manner it would backlash, causing extreme pain and harm to him. However, he didn't let this stop him. Instead of seeking magic through the arcane, perhaps science could be used to achieve something. Afterall, what is science if not magic we understand? Aeron began to tinker with household objects. Clocks, watches, old broken toys, stuff like that. He began to wonder if maybe, just maybe, he would be able to fix himself. Not have to worry about how messed up he was. He wasn't able to find anything about his disease, it was to rare for anyone to properly doccument it. However, what he could find information on was what most people dubbed 'Mana viens.' He could read books on how they worked, how each type of caster regulated them. With this knowledge, Aeron set out with an idea. If he couldn't regulate his own mana, maybe he could make something to regulate it for him. He was rather far into his teen years at this point, and was about the age to enter into a school properly. However, choosing instead to be homeschooled, Aeron would learn off of old strixhaven textbooks. He learned to manipulate magic to a better degree, atleast theoretically. He was still unable to actually cast spells, and this weighed on him a lot. His father was a rather infamous wizard. Not famous by any regard outside their village, but enough that having a son that couldn't cast was difficult on them. They didn't treat him as well as his other sibling, his older sister, who was already a prodigy with magic. But they didn't treat him badly, Aeron was glad for that much from them. They would still take him out places, he still got gifts on holidays, his sister wasn;t even rude about it. They had simply decided to nuture the one with a brighter future a bit more. But this would never deture him, he was working on a device that would function like a pacemaker for his mana. In a way. He just needed it to work, and then maybe something better could happen. Many years passed, and to no avail. Every prototype had failed, and still, something was missing from the design. It wasn't able to regulate properly, it would get to much backflow into the machine itself, causing it to breakdown or just outright explode. It was getting tiring. One final blueprint, combing all the parts that worked from previous designs. But why did it always break? It had all the right things to function, it just couldn't keep the magic out of itself. Hm..... maybe that was good. Aero worked continuesly that night, scribbling designs for a different type of system for the machine. Of course, he would only have one try at this. If it failed it would likely explode again and he'd need to recreate it from scratch. After an entire night of restless planning and building, he had gotten to his final design. It was so much smaller, since he had slowly made it more efficient and was able to make more machinery fit in a smaller space. Fitting the device into something a bit simpler to wear, a larger mechanical glove that covered his left arm up to a little past his elbow, and two needles that were inserted directly into the mana viens in his hand that connected to the rest of his body. If this worked, and hopefully it would, he could manuelly regulate his viens. With a slight pain, the needles were connected to his veins, and he could feel the magic flow in and out of him. The same feeling he got just before it exploded. And yet, nothing. It...... it had worked. Aeron let out suprised and happy laugh. "Holy hell it works?!" He said, before quieting down a little. This may have been extremely exciting, but it was also 2 am and his parents had to get up early. He felt his body surge with power he had never felt before. Was this how magic felt? he wasn't sure yet. Raising his right hand, he focuses on a spell he had seen his father cast many times. A mote of fire. Blazing heat, compacted sulfur, he needed the right mental image. Firebolt. He said the name, and just like that the image perfected, a mote of fire forming in his hand and quickly shooting off into his wall. Yes! He had managed to cast a spell! It felt exilerating. he could feel his own mana pulse in his veins. He had to test this more, he needed to get a feel of this power. He opened his window, climbing out through his second story window. He had snuck out many times, but this was the first time he'd done it with true purpose. He set out into town, running along the cobbled streets. He felt like a kid, excited to try something he hadn't done before. Entering the scrapyard just a bit outside town, he quickly constructed a small shooting range. Firebolt was all he had managed at the moment, so might as well perfect it. He fired bolts down at the targets he constructed, sometimes missing them. He hadn't noticed the throbbing pain in his viens, something that was rather unnerving to feel. He only noticed when after firing a bolt he broke into a coughing fit, a burning pain in his lungs. It was hard to breath, and he felt like his heart was going to burst. He could hear a voice through the ringing in his ears, and felt someone place a hand on his shoulder. God, why was everything burning? He felt like any moment his viens would rupture. The scrapyard worker that was there had no clue what was going on. He'd seen Aeron enter and starting setting up target, and then throwing fire at them. Had he finally learned a spell? He felt happy for the boy, until he saw them double over in apparent pain. He had ran out to check on him, but once he was within 10ft of the lad, a searing heat enveloped him. It burned, but it was bareable. He moved closer, the pulsing heat wave was getting a bit less hard to handle as he set a hand on the boy's shoulder. He tried talking to him, asking him if he was ok, but they didn't respond. Taking his hand and moving to check their face, he felt searing pain shoot through him as everything went white. It was nearly 4 hours later when Aeron woke up, searing pain shooting through him. As he looked around, the sight before him was concerning. It looked as if something had exploded. The targets he set up he knocked over, scorch marks littered the ground, along with a much larger, more human shaped outline coating the wall. He..... what had happened? he looked down at his regulator, checking a dial on it. His mana was at normal levels... but why did it feel like he had released so much?
