The Harengon mercenary returns to the main hall with his companions, but he breaks away from them and approaches Lady Kaede (though he does not recognize her). He bows a deep and formal bow, careful not to make eye contact. In a language native to King's Landing, "Forgive me, Bushi Sama. I am Toteki Matamo, and I have been away from our people for many years. I am gladdened to see a countrymen amongst many strangers." He holds his bow, his eyes cast down, careful to observe decorum with a samurai.
Lady Kaede excitedly responds to the mercenary "Arise, Yōhei Matamo! For your dulcet tones warm my aching heart. You and I both are kindred spirits, set upon the winds of time, lost in the brewing tempest of evil that affronts our land."
Continuing, "Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow is but a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day."
With her lame attempt at emboldening the solider with a fighting spirit finally complete, she leans in and whispers "Tell me, dear solider...where can one take ... a bath ... if one were in dire need? I'm asking, hypothetically of course, for a friend."
Nodjeim Diabhal stepped up to the table with the potions without much notice or commotion. He had not understood most of what was said about previous deeds - the names and places were mostly outside his knowledge and awareness - but he had understood enough to know he was being sent to kill a bull and save a unicorn. As he took up two of the potions and was setting them in a pack where hopefully they would be cushioned but handy if needed, he paused to look at those who had given instructions. It was Atreyu who had given the instructions and thus he was the one Nodjeim should ask but the Tiefling hesitated. He was unsure about this Atreyu and...
Nodjeim instead tried to catch the eye of this one called Gandalf and asked him instead. "It is said that the bull is our main concern," Nodjeim points out, "But also that no harm can come to the unicorn. There cannot be two objectives of the highest priority... Which of our tasks is indeed paramount?"
Johnathan listens as their new missions were handed out. A lot of these threats were not even known to him before that meeting. A Godzilla? A force wielder? This is worse than I thought. He turns to his fellow Dawn Guard, unsure how he feels. These strangers have been with him for some time now and they even accepted him for his shortcomings. Now they were to separate for a bit. Though that isn’t unusual in war, sometimes your leaders have to place the right people for the right job. This is my chance to save the last unicorn, and stick it to lord of darkness or Ganon whatever it calls himself.
Johnathan decides it’s probably best to say their goodbyes when they have some privacy. He turns to Gandalf. Fair enough. I guess we will get ready for this fight. I do have a quick question if you don’t mind. How will you send reinforcements and how will you know where to send them? We could be anywhere in that kingdom.

Matamo's eyes widen, though he dare not make eye contact. "I am humbled by your welcoming kindness and words of wisdom.." A bead of sweat rolls down his furry brow. Only someone of high station would assume not to introduce themselves. He risked disgracing her if he did not know her by name and title... It was his own fault. He hadn't told her how long he'd been away... But if she is truly of noble blood, and not just a Samurai made noble by the deeds of her sword, would she understand? Would she be slighted? She thinks I'm a soldier, which is correct from my garb, but she does not know that I was born of the Nomin caste. If I insult or disgrace her she can cut me down by right... His eyes widen with a realization. "I too am unfamiliar with this place, but will find one for your friend right away, as repayment for your freely given wisdom and confidence." He turns dutifully, quickly, and makes his way to the nearest bird-person guard to ask about a proper bathing facility. He knows what the Samurai seeks, and is detailed in his description of a proper hot springs bath or heated bathhouse with steam room and hot stones. Whatever reply the guard gives, Matamo will return to the Samurai immediately and convey what he learned, careful not to trap himself by having to address her by station or name.
Rum listens to Atreyu and Gandalf closely, hearing the information from the other bands and the plans they put forward for the immediate future.
On hearing the news that Dragonclaw Island was to be in the path of a tsunami his ears flatten and his tail starts to swish from side to side, potentially inadvertently colliding with another person present.
“The monks are not without power, Wise One. Given warning they may be able to protect the island”, he suggests hopefully.
“There is one piece of information that has not been mentioned that I believe is pertinent. The Lord of Darkness told us that he had tracked the movements of the Twilight Embers after Ganondorf intercepted Ro’s sending messages to his father. Jek said the Auryn was safe to use, but we should be careful with any other means of communication. Either not use it at all, or not speak openly across it. We could also use these means to lay a false trail perhaps?”.
He walks over to retrieve his two potions and then looks around the room, nodding to those of his new band that he recognises.
Delphinium and Godshell he recently met and he could see amongst the throng. Slade he knew but could not see and Malenia was a new name to him.
Seeing the unmissable figure of Stasolya he walks across to her.
“Greetings, fellow Auryn Bearer. I thank you for your reply, although I did not catch your name within your poem? Also, tell me, is Malenia one of Andromeda’s Answer?”, he asks the Centaur.
After they have spoken he looks across the room to find the members of his new band.
Stasolya accepts the horseshoes in surprise, but smiles her gratitude at the gift-giver. "Speedily will I run to the aid of Hyboria," she says. "Thank you."
Atreyu's assignments leave her pondering quietly. As Rum approaches, she lights up. "So you are the messenger! Rumble of Hunger? My name is Stasolya. Thank you for your timely warning about Lelith, as we encountered her not long after I received your message. It is a heavy task we have been assigned, to act as her judge. I know nothing of her crimes. I have no other stories to compare her own to. Perhaps, if we've a moment, you could explain to me your version of the events?
"And, yes! Malenia is with my group. With me she witnessed the loss of Princess Andromeda, and we have traveled together ever since. She is quite fast and capable. I think a retrieval mission in need of great speed is an excellent place for her."
Shavaris listens to the two spin their tale of the situation and the highlights of each band. Tomfoolery, eh? Well, she supposes looking back at their antics, they worked but were a bit unconventional. Once the half-orc adds his concerns, Shavaris swallows, takes a breath and tries to talk with such a huge group around her.
"Vader sounds awful, truly terrible and I am so glad to hear the Order of the Phoenix were able to escape him." She looks to Jek and gives him a smile. Then continues, "You say this Anakin Skywalker is doing Ganon's bidding because Ganon promises to revive his true love? Is there a way that we can revive this true love of his and stop Vader? Even bring him to our side?" Shavaris stops with this, not one for public speaking and just wanted to throw out the idea.
She then heads over to the table with the potions and grabs her allotted two. Heading over to see Jek, she looks down at the little guy, "So, we're to try Lelith? Do you know much about the elf? Other than these recent events I don't know anything about her. And what about Krille? Who is he and the elders that are going to assist? Do you know?" she smiles to herself and adds, "Sorry, didn't mean to barrage you with questions. This is just.. wow, a lot to take in."
She sees Rum with the centaur and heads over. "Hey Rum, I am so sorry to hear about Greko and Ro. They are a great loss and I hope you're doing ok." she rests her hand on his shoulder as she speaks to him. She had overheard the centaur's name as she approached and then turns to her, "So you're Stasolya! My name is Shavaris and I was just about to ask you to point me to her! Ready to be a judge? Can't say I have ever been in that position before, this should be interesting. It's nice to meet you."
As Delphinium sits on the Tabaxi's shoulder they seem to become fascinated with the starfish creature. They were about to say something to Godshell when Atreyu and Gandolf both begin to explain the situation to those gathered. There seems to be a few groups all coordinating with each other through the leaders of this resistance. It sounds like things are really bad. Delphinium was pretty excited about meeting a Terrasque but learning that there was something even bigger to fight them made the fairy even more excited. Their task seems very clear to them and it seems that the fairy was lucky enough to land on the shoulder's of another of their new team. In fact, the starfish creature was part of their team as well. This delighted the fairy to no end. However, it was mared a bit with guilt as talk goes to saving the last mare and all hope rests on them... the fairy seems to look a bit guilty for a bit and averts their eyes from Atreyu as they talk of it. Delphinium was always one to wear their feelings on the outside and these new companions can easily see the blue glow dim a little.
The promise of gear and help before heading out also gave the fairy a desire to talk to the one called Gandalf. They haven't met them before having joined the Dawn Guard a bit late on Atreyu's request. They wondered what kind of things are here in general. Before that though the fairy needs to introduce themselves to the others here. Oh! Wait, they did. So instead, "Hello Godshell! It is so good to meet you. You are not from this world either then? Same as me. I'm from the feywild, are you as well? Perhaps from the shimmering ponds, or the Sea of Annoyance? I haven't been there but I heard they have all kinds of interesting and unique beings and you are super unique! I like you. Anyway, yes, I am here to try and help this world because I like it." As the starfish hold their... hand? out the tiny fairy flutters right on over and shakes it with a big smile.
"Apparently, I'll be working with you and Rumble here. This is going to be fun! Are you excited? Its always more exciting when it's dangerous but I think a lot of folks don't like that. Any of you have questions for me? I'm going to go talk to the old wizard man and my friends from the dawn guard before I go. Without me they might get into even MORE trouble. They are just terrible at avoiding it." They fairy shakes their head in disappointment. They wait a little bit for them to ask them questions before zooming off to find their friends in the Dawn Guard.
Kerwyn and whoever is with them
As Delph finds Kerwyn they flutter over to them and land on their shoulder at some point in time. They say to the newly discovered prince "Hello Kerwyn! Or do you want to go by Prince or some other title? I'm pretty flexible. Also, that sound thingy you did was super cool! I know we don't always see eye to eye but I like that about us. You kind of remind me of my sister. She would get me mad all the time too. I'm know I can solve one big issue... pretty sure Atreyu was glaring at me earlier... I don't know if I'll be the same when we meet again but I want to see you again. I know you struggle sometimes especially with fey things. If you ever find youself in trouble with fey again... you can call out to me. No promises I'll be able to drop everything and help but if I can help without determent to myself or my other obligations I will come help." They fairy produces a single flower, its a flower unlike anything Kerwyn has probably seen. A definite mark of feywild magic upon it as the petals seem to shimmer like opal despite the fact they are flower petals. It is clearly a delphinium flower but unlike any one has seen. Delph smiles and says "Nothing special about it beyond looking pretty, unique and lasting a long time as you carry it. You take care Kerwyn. It sounds like you got dangerous stuff to do too."
Shavaris and whoever is with them
Delphinium lands suddenly and quickly on Shavaris' shoulder as soon as they find them. They go "Shavaris! I found you! Lots of activity here it seems. I'm very sad we are going separate ways because I wanted to be there to help you. I know you are recently dealing with a new sense of hunger but I wanted to tell you to not be afraid of it. I was going to offer to help you control it just like I offered with Johnathan." The fairy's voice gets very quiet so only Shavaris can hear it, they sound like they truly care and want to help her as they say "Shavaris... I used to be a predator too. Back then, I loved it. I craved the hunt like how you crave now. It was a part of being me. We are stronger then our cravings. Don't forget that." They return to a louder voice and continue on chatting with Shavaris.
"Anyway, I'm not sure I'll be me still when we get back together. So, I wanted to tell you stuff before we go our separate ways. I also wanted to ask you something too. Really important. So, lets start with the first bit: You are amazing Shavaris! I wish I knew more about you and your sister but I never really got a chance to find out more about you. I wish to though. I'm hopeful we can meet again and maybe this time at my home. It sounds like Kokiri was saved and the southern edge of the forest is where my home in your world is. The Foxmist grove. My mother created it. There's a lot more I'd like to tell you too. You are welcome in my homes." The fairy nods then casts a bit of magic creating a flower that seems almost otherworldly. A definite touch of the feywild on the flower as the petals seem to shine like polished opal. It is a delphinium flower. "Show this to my family and they will know you are my friend. Doesn't do anything special but it's pretty and will last awhile."
"My request is about Lelilth. She said she was controlled. Fey can't lie remember. They can twist, omit, manipulate and distort words but we can't outright lie. She was my friend when I was younger. I want to make sure she doesn't die or suffer. She was a good friend back then. She's always been a bit calculating and sometimes seems cold but that's just winter fey. It's normal. Remember, words matter to us. A lot. If I've learned anything from my journey its been that you all don't understand fey at all. Keep in mind what you see as normal... might not be ours. I'm often flummoxed by people's choices. The point is, I ask of you to listen to her words, if a punishment needs to happen make it as lenient as you can. I don't know the laws in your world but I recognize she and I are kind of guests in this regard." Delphinium looks to her in earnest and finishes with "You don't need to answer me or commit to anything but keep me in mind and how different I am when talking with her. Thank you."
Ward and whoever is with them
"Robots are cool!" This is the first thing Ward hears as the tiny fairy lands on the mechanical friend's shoulder. "I see you're handing out supplies. I'm going to miss having you around. Your magic is really familiar to me. Similar to my mom in a lot of ways. You always seemed a bit distant to me though. Like you kept your distance from me. Maybe that is just what it's like to be a robot? I can never tell. I talked to Hemmy about it a bit... of which... I haven't seen them. Do you think they got left behind? They definitely were not part of the Dawn Guard. Well, won't be the first time teleportation shenanigans happened to separate us. He'll be fine, but if you run into him you should tell him what I'm doing and let him know I will be heading to my mom's grove when I am able. You take care Ward. I hope we see each other again someday!"
Travin and whoever is with them
Never hard to spot the wondering pile of items that is Travin and as Delph sees them flutters on over and lands on their shoulder once again but this time looking a bit more somber. "Travin! Seems we are all going our separate ways soon. I'm a bit sad the Dawn Guard is being divided. Especially since we made the most progress on our goal! I guess there are some more pressing things. I wanted to tell you... I'm currently planning to take my father's deal. I don't know if I'll be the same the next time we meet because of this... undoing words I've said... it'll be like I'm cutting a piece of my personality out. A lot more impactful then it would be for others because I am true fey. I feel you would understand this more then the others. I never had a brother Travin. I have a sister. I'm glad we saved yours. I see you as my brother a bit too. When this is over... I'm hopeful you will come and visit me even if you are from another world. I'd also like to visit your world someday as well. So much to do and find out." The fairy nods and casts a bit of magic creating a flower that seems almost otherworldly. A definite touch of the feywild on the flower as the petals seem to shine like polished opal. It is a delphinium flower. "You have so much already but this flower represents we are close friends. It doesn't do anything special but looks pretty. With all the things you have I hope it doesn't get lost in it all."
Johnathan and whoever is with them
Finding the troubled and brooding person known as Johnathan was a bit more difficult but when they do so the Fairy flies down to them and lands on their shoulder. "Hello Johnathan. It sounds like we are all going our separate ways. I still have an open offer to help you but I need to amend it to I will help you when next able. I was a predator too at one point Johnathan. I don't tell many but you needed to know. I see you beating yourself up over needing to feed and its not a crime or some act of evil to eat. If you control it, you can just take small non-harmful bites. You never need to kill. You just need to control your hunger. I was planning to spot you at first, and punch the crap out of you if you ate too much. Take some training for you I'm sure but I meant what I said. You already control it. You just need to stop beating yourself up about it. Go find your family and give them big hugs. Explain whats going on and I bet they will even help you manage it in a good way. If you do that and it goes well. You own me one. If I'm wrong, I owe you one. A favor from a fey can be a really good thing to have too, There are folks in the feywild that can change your race and everything. Can be a bit dangerous though depending who you ask, don't go without a guide! The labyrinth is nothing compared to the feywild proper. Find me again at some point and I'll help you out. I'd like to learn more about you too. You don't share often but I am curious to know more about you. So, don't forget me!"
After saying their goodbyes and hellos the fairy goes to talk with Gandalf about something and explore the area a little bit.
Ereni remains expressionless as their apparent commanders call for no violence, despite the likely presence of a traitor, and describe the fantastical mission plans. In the end, she offers nothing more than a resigned shrug and settles down to restring her bow. Drawling seemingly to herself.
"Lords of Darkness and Red Bulls and Tarrasques, aye. Good talk. Saw a little girl in Fantasia once, had a tarrasque doll made of sticks and red hide. Fearsome and ferocious it was. No doubt she loved to play with it. Monster of her own to make her feel strong. Like this Godzilla, maybe. Far as I could tell, Vader's orcs taught her the difference between a tarrasque and a toy quick enough. She had the tarrasque on the brain before, and bits of her brain on the tarrasque after one of them hit her with a mace. Could be we all end up lucky like the little dead girl. Quick and clean. I'm ready, anyway."
"I am glad you are excited for what is to come, Delph", Rum says whilst trying to twist to look at the Fairy that has alighted on his shoulder.
"I will confess I am also eager to progress with the task at hand. After so much bad news it will be good to have a positive impact".
"I will catch up with you both later", he says to Delph and Godshell, bowing his head and moving gently away whilst he waits for Delph to move from his shoulder.
Rum with Stasolya and Shavaris:
“A heavy task indeed”, Rum says to Stasolya regarding the trial of Lelith, just before Shavaris calls out to him.
“My thanks, friend Shavaris. Time will tell if any of us are truly ok but I know Greko and Ro will be sorely missed by their friends and the world they fought so hard to protect. In truth, we speak of events as if they happened some time ago and yet they were so recent”, he says with a far off look.
“But you asked for my account, fellow Auryn Bearer Stasolya. And although I expect I am not involved in the trial for more reasons than my skills lie elsewhere, I am willing to share a brief account”, he says looking across to see if he can spot Tuto and Oten in the crowd.
“I will try to keep emotion out of my telling and you may wish to speak to Lady Kaede, who was present at the end but did not have the emotional attachment to those involved”, he adds before pausing and collecting his thoughts.
“I won’t go over ground already spoken about but focus on interactions. Lelith and I were the scouts for our band and although our personalities and methods were very different, I trusted her and believe she trusted me. She could however be very harsh to those she felt deserving of it. That at times included members of our band, but also those around us. It took a bad turn at Lon Lon Ranch when she felt offended by an old Elf. By my reckoning they were as bad as each other, but Lelith maybe started it. She insisted that he either apologise and accept her splitting his tongue with her sword, or she would outright kill him. At this point the ranchers were more antagonistic towards us than the undead we were supposed to save them from”, he says shaking his head at the memory.
“Greko was not present for this, but the rest of the band intervened and words were spoken. Lelith left our company for a short period at that time whilst the rest of us went to try and deal with the undead threat. We came up with a plan to stop the horde but it required Lelith’s skill, so Greko went to find her. Antagonising locals was not new to Lelith and we didn't consider it a sign she had been turned, it was just her. Anyway, Greko was a good choice to fetch her because he had not been involved in the previous stand off. When they came back, both Lelith and now Greko insisted we put our differences behind us and move quickly to the Temple of Time, rather than the initial plan of finding the Royal Family. They were very convincing and we all agreed”, he says with a sigh.
“On the way through the secret passage to the castle, we encountered rats that tried to take over our minds. Odd I know, but their brains were glowing different colours and everything. My instinct was to wipe them out, but we decided we shouldn’t. It was a mistake to let them live”
“When we got to the Temple of Time, it was guarded by some Merregon things. We had fought one before but this time there were six. Greko became a mouse and scouted passed them only to find Lord Darkness waiting for us. It was a trap and he had Ro’s father physically and mental in his power”.
“At this point Lord Darkness exerted his control over Ro and Oten. It was clear and obvious he was controlling them and also clear he had control of the rats and ravens in the castle. I believe it was through the rats in the passage he was able to do this. But when he called Lelith to his side it didn't appear to be the same, there was something else going on. My instincts are normally good, my mental fortitude sound. I had felt the push on my mind and resisted, I was clear in my thoughts. There was nothing to suggest Lelith was acting against her will at that time”, he scratches the back of his neck. “But then what she said a short time ago in response to Oten, she seemed sincere with that as well. I do not envy you your task”.
“Greko chose to sacrifice himself and Ro did similar because of events at the Temple of Time. Lelith played her part, but Lord Darkness said he knew of our plans from Ro’s communication with his father. Lelith changing sides made a bleak situation appear hopeless to Greko causing him to sacrifice himself. The loss of Ro’s father in the moment Greko acted caused Ro to..”, he doesn’t finish the thought.
“Greko was captured, Ro and Oten under the Lord of Darkness’ mind control, Lady Kaede an unknown. That left Tuto, myself and Lelith. When Lelith turned…”, again he can’t finish the thought.
He takes a deep breath in. “She did not raise arms against us, whether she would have I do not know, it all happened so quickly and Greko sent us away. But we would not have gone to the Temple of Time if not for her prompting, that was the Lord of Darkness' task for her I think. Whether willing or unwilling is yours to decide it seems”, he finishes looking at both Stasolya and Shavaris before falling silent.
Rum with Godshell:
Rum is drawn from his introspection by Godshell’s appearance. He smiles sadly at the starfish like being, not sad that Godshell is there, there is just a general sadness to him.
“I am indeed Rumble of Hunger, Godshell”, he says placing his fist over his heart in greeting.
“I am afraid that I don’t know much more than you regarding these creatures, only that they are fearsome and we must be careful and work together. If we do that, I believe the mission will be a success and we should have a far better idea of what this Tarrasque is. No better way to learn than getting up close and personal”, he says with a little more of his usual bravado retuning.
Travin takes the gifted flower from Delphinium and looks at it, for a moment there is flash of hunger in his bulbous eyes but the little junkman refrains from eating the thing, for now. "Travin has receiveds a gift! Yeh! Travin is happy withs new shiny hmm will treasures it for his brother Fireflight yeh yeh. Keep safes Fireflight, Travin doesn't care if a change happens with Fireflight, Travin accepts it yeh, accepts it as a part of Fireflight that he is lettings free, no more prisons hmmm, not even a prison of words and promises, Fireflight will have agency to makes decisions for himself, this is good hmm? Yeh!" With that he crawls up his pile and gives the flower pride of place on the top shelf of his cumbersome cabinet.
Stasolya nods thoughtfully in response to Rum's recounting of events. "An unpleasant and hostile personality at baseline could certainly make mind control seem less sudden or unnatural," she says, "and therefore less obvious. Lelith's crimes are clear, and, as you say, what remains in question is how much agency she had in them. Keeping in mind how convincing she is, and that her claims of mind control and emotional display earlier could be a fabrication, of course."
She looks at Shavaris. "Because of this, we will have to judge this trial not on words or emotions but on facts and evidence. It is indeed a difficult task. Lelith took these traitorous actions, there are sufficient witnesses for that to be certain. She will have to show her lack of agency in performing these actions. We will see. And may the Childlike Empress' love for good and evil alike inspire us to balance the scales of justice and mercy as she would." She nods at the Tabaxi and smiles. "Thank you, Rum."
Shirin makes his way up from the rear of the chamber to the table and grabs his share of potions, stowing them within his cloak. He looks around, uncertain of exactly who amongst the crowd he would be sending off to Atlantis with, but it would seem the old wizard Gandalf meant to have words with them. He takes a position near the pipe-puffing geezer, waiting for the rest of his new crew to make their way forward. If he saw any of his companions from the Order of the Phoenix, he would give them a nod of respect. Their time together was short lived, and Shirin was never much for small talk or goodbyes. Perhaps one day they would meet again.
Jek listens on as Atreyu and Gandalf speak on what has been done and what needs to be done next. He will go up to the table and retrieve two of the potions. He goes to put them in his pack, then realizes he should probably separate them from the potion of poison he has. They look almost the same and he doesn't want to mix those up!
He begins to wander, in thought. Why would they trust him with another's life? This is a lot of responsibility. I mean, he is good at talking.
He hears Ward talking about items he has. Oh... Jek digs in his pack. He pulls out a set of glasses with multiple different lens on them. He'll say to those gathered "I have these, if anyone wants them. They help you look at things up close. Oh, and I don't really need these gauntlets. They make me really strong, but I don't go around punch things." He will show them the gauntlets he is wearing.
Afterwards, he keeps going about until Shavaris finds him. Jek laughs a little "No worries. I tend to talk a lot and ask what ever is on my mind, so I don't mind having that happen to me! I don't know much about her, I only met her at the Ivory Tower with everyone else. Rum seemed pretty distressed. And it is a lot. I don't know how I feel about being in charge of another's life. Oh, Krille is nice! He showed us around. I think we made him a bit mad when that temple over there exploded out. The stained glass windows were very nice..... I think we need someone who can compel her to speak the truth. I hope they have someone here who can do that." Jek will stick close to Shavaris for a bit, as she heads to talk to Rum.
As they speak to the Stasolya, Jek will say "Oh! You were the one who sent us that poem! Thank you so much, it helped a lot! I hope that us three can figure out what the truth is. Hey Shavaris, I think you have a glowy thingy on your shoulder. It's a person!"
Jek will listen to what Delphinium says to Shavaris. He will respond to her, after Shavaris speaks "Hi! And don't worry. We will do what needs to be done, but I don't want to see your friend hurt. I hope she is an innocent victim, but we need to be sure. There is too much at stake."
Jek will see Shirin in the corner. He chuckles a little. He goes up to him "I know you don't speak much, but I think you are a good person. You know a lot about monsters and things, so it's probably best that you are going to free the King of Monsters! Stay safe. You are still a member of the Order of the Phoenix. I want to see you back here when you are done! We've already lost too many good people. "
Jek will wander about so more, then sees something flash white in the distance. He makes his way to Falkor. As he approaches he will say. "Hello Falkor, sir! How are you! Sorry about the stained glass window of you, it broke. But anyways. I knew one of your kin, Tola! And Atoh, she was a halfling, one of the Khan's. I... they said they sent message to you when we were at the Oasis a few days ago. Have you heard what happened? Do you know about the Khan's? I hope Tola and Atoh are safe, but it was not pleasant there. There was so much bloodshed. " He will stop and look down, remembering what happened at the Tower of the Elephant.
Shirin would respond to Jek saying, "And you speak too much... though, I will admit - it has been a convenience, one I will certainly come to miss. Good luck, Jek." The side of his mouth curls slightly, offering the faintest smile - but the first you've seen from Shirin, nonetheless.
In earlier response to Jek's slew of questions, Travin looks around a little, like a child checking if their parent is around, he then steadily reaches a hand out and prods Jek to see if he is really there, touching at least the cloth on Jek's robe is enough confirmation to the junkman that he is not hallucinating the shadow creature, "ahhh umm, Travin thoughts Jek was a shadow creature likes the ones Travin sees... Everywhere. Yeh, Travin is not a child hmm! Travin is just a very olds human, too olds to remember how olds Travin is hmm? Travin forgot abouts Travin's brother too, for a long time, trapped in the labyrinth yeh, Travin learned of the storytellers from Jareth, it is how Travin gots Blix to see truth and turn back to being Gavin... The storytellers don't just tells a story hmmm they tells this story yeh yeh. Many many tellers, controllings all who are here, hmmm, none haves free will, storytellers are more powerfuls than the gods in this land, see? Yeh yeh, Travin is like a vessel, Jek is a vessel, the Dawnguard, everyone... Hmmm, Travin hopes to return to the storytellers world, yeh, before Travin dies. But gods can be cruel, and gods of gods even crueller, Travin thinks this should give everyone permission to do what's everyone wants hmm? Jek's desires are mosts important to act on for Jek, yeh? Yeh!"
There is a little sadness in the Junkman's voice as he retells his view on the world's lack of free will, the fact that he referred to himself as a human would be enough for Jek to consider everything Travin said with a serious amount of doubt, but in himself the Junkman seems to believe every word he says, utterly convinced of his truth.
Johnathan gets tense when Delph starts giving away his secrets. He tries to brush it off with a fake laugh as he whispers to them. Ok, ok. Let’s not mention it for now ha ha.
To Dawn Guard
So we are about to try and save the world, again. I’m not one for emotional speeches or touchy feelings so I will keep this short. You are great comrades, you accepted my…shortfalls and we have achieved great things. I know we will continue to do so. I expect you all to be on your best behaviour, and to come back in one piece. Can’t have you being killed off before our fight with Ganon.
Kerwyn, or should I say Prince Kerwyn. He chuckles a little. You went through a lot, you have seen things that messed you up. It’s nice you are back to your usual self. Just keep yourself and that beast you call a snail safe.
Shavaris, you have suffered through much with your Sister and have seen what a monster truly is. Just remember what we talked about, remember what matters to you when you start losing yourself. It helps. Johnathan gives Shavaris a knowing nod as if he is referencing to an inside joke. And thank you for being the first to help me, I won’t forget that.
Delph, I’m still kinda amazed you have kept that upbeat attitude. Time has a way of changing that. Don’t let it. But please don’t fly into danger because it looks like fun. Remember this world is dark and can easily trap the naive.
Travin. Oh boy Travin. I have no idea what your deal is. You kinda freak me out. No jokes. Just please try not to make your new friends insane with that god of god stuff. When Johnathan turns from Travin he does a quick check to make sure everything of his is on him and not on fire or covered in goo or whatever Travin can possibly do.
Ward. I guess I should say something to you as well. You are insane and I swear when you and Travin get together there is just gonna be fire everywhere. That said you are the exact kind of crazy we need for this fight so there’s that.
Ok, no more speeches. Good luck Dawn Guard. Let’s get ready
When Johnathan has finished his talk with the Dawn Guard he turns to his new comrades for his next mission. Guess we are the lucky few that get to go on the front lines for this fight. You may call me Johnathan. Let’s get to the point, I’m not the sort that likes to beat around the bush so let’s talk about what’s ahead. I’m a caster of sorts, mostly in illusions and utility but I’ve got a few offence spells. I have a familiar that can act as a scout and a plant thing. He looks at the plant creature. Don’t ask, it was something Travin made for me. He pauses as he looks at the other comrades, taking note of weapons and armour. I would like to know what each of you can do, how do you fight? I see some of you carry weapons, is there anything else we can expect?
Ward moves over to the Dawn Guard and gives a smile to them. "Well, friends. It seems here is where some of us must part for the moment. Can't say I'm surprised, I think we're a bit much when we're all together." Ward laughs "I'll be honest, I don't want to leave you all, you are the most interesting of those that I have gone through this sort of mess with. Kerwyn, keep your head on straight as it can be, and show your father and those soldiers what this war means. This is where we hold, here and now we hold the tide, and I want to see you in a crown as goofy as you might look. Travin you as well, now you probably shouldn't tell of the storytellers, but show them what story they themselves must write. A story that shows them saving those they care about and allowing us to crash against the Darkness with an ocean at our backs. Delph, be quick as always my small friend. You are a fire of a different kind than what I use, and it is one that is needed in the coming times. Shine bright and fight well firelight, and once this saga is over I am excited to see your home. Johnathan, I still ride with you so you get to enjoy my chaos. Remember what I have said, your demons are still you, and you must learn yourself and how to control yourself, also, seeing as we may be facing an army of skeletons I'd suggest you stock up on blood now. Bones tend to be a bit on the drier side. Shavaris, you face a similar challenge, but remember that your sister watches over you. She sees what you can be, and that is a fighter of untold strength. Stand tall and unfaltering, and don't trust that Lelith, stay far from her, I don't want you to get caught in the crossfire. Keep yourself safe beyond anything else, and that goes to all of you. Ward says, turning to the group as a whole. "Death will not be a place of peace. I will find and drag you back to the realm of the living regardless of who I piss off along the way. So I trust all of you to not make me deal with that headache. Ward says, then looking across the crowd. "We head into war my siblings of chaos. It is a place that will make you and a place worse than any hell of your minds making. Give yourself and your allies strength, and give misery to those who aim to take our heads. Give them hell." Ward says, taking the Dawn Guard in his arms and giving them a hug, a rare sign of affection from the Warforged before backing away and looking if there is anything else to say before they split up.

Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?
Slade is currently out in skyloft getting up to various ****ery
