Dr A hits Remy with the Puppy training tome (Attack: 13 Damage: 9) whilst simultaneously sending a small ball of flame Fire Bolt (Attack: 26 Damage: 13) at Tina
Remy, the former lumberjack turned into a werewolf is nearly as strong as their Alpha and does not fall after the shield bash from Logan. He does howl when the silvered weapon cuts him and when the Training Puppies Tome hts him in the stomach. Unfortunately the firebolt that Dr. A throws at him missed his mark.
Now with only one enemy standing Gorm and Thandril can move and flank him, without fear of risking them being flanked or Dr. A. attacked.

With the help of two skilled warriors such as Logan and Gorm, Thandril has a better chance to fight properly despite the manacles that bind his wrists and ankles.
I realized that I’ve been using his canarios when he cannot, and not giving him disadvantage but I am not going to retcon anything. This is just an explanation for the near future when you identify the manacles and chains and it will make sense.
So straight rolls for him thanks to advantage and no magic.

Logan strike decapitates the last of their enemies. Before he is even in the floor his form turns into one of a muscular human, his head suffers the same transformation revealing that he, in his human form had a long black beard.
They remain silent in the corridor, panting and making sure that there is no more enemies coming, but it seems that they had finished the pack.
"Took a couple hits," Gorm replies. "I've had worse."
Taking a moment to listen and try to peer up and down the cave to try to detect if they have indeed finished off their foes (Perception: 14) she then assists Logan in checking the bodies for keys to the manacles and generally searching the bodies. "We're alive, that's the main thing," she adds.
Logan finds the key to the restrains on Thandril in the Alpha body. While all the others had turned back to their human form, she remains in her werewolf form, even decapitated. Once they free the elf he stretches his arms and legs.
" My Goodness that was a really awful thing to have on. It has a dreadful spell on it that barred me to access my magic "he shivers "I hope not to ever feel that again. "
He turns to the party, his relaxed demeanor turned into a very serious expression, yet grateful.
"You... you have come looking for me, even knowing what were you against. I must say I haven't lost all hope but my chances were very slim " he stops and looks to the eagle that is perched in a nearby root but his peculiar familiar doesn't reply " I name you all elf-friend and I invite you to the my home, to the halls of my father's castle. May the light of the stars always guide your paths my friends. " he touches his heart with his right hand and bows his head to you- "Goodness I do need to rest. " he says, feeling all the weight of his captivity falling upon him. "But I suggest that we leave this place.."
The rest of the search of the den reveals the rest of the Mithril that Thandril hadn't turned into weapons yet but he had refined as a first step and some spoils of the raids of the werewolves. In total they find jewels and coins for a total of 4.500 gp On a some kind of altar in the Alpha's room they find one small figurine of a monkey with the head, the point of his tail, feet and big hands that end in claws painted in red. Also they see an ivory staff that it's carved as a dragon claw and a pair of boots that stood apart from other supplies and things that have been collected by the werewolves in their raids. In the Alpha's room, above her bed there is a huge head of a black bear.
The figurine, the staff and the boots are magical and you detect this thanks to Dr. A's abilities. The manacles are also magical.
”The werewolf threat to the farmers is now gone as well, Thandril, and I thank you for naming me elf-friend. Yes, let us get out of here and find a safe place to rest,” agrees Logan.
Once they have gathered up the coinage and the magic items, Logan suggests they divide the coinage and identify the magic items, assuming Doctor A. has the capability to do so. (4,500 gp /4 people = 1,125 gp each, right?)
”Are we still bound to Neverwinter to investigate the cult next?” ask Logan, assuming they find a safe place to rest. Then he suddenly starts and says, “Wait Thandril, you said your father has a Castle!”
"Should we do anything with them first though?" she asks, nudging one of the corpses with her feet. "Burn them, perhaps?" She's pondering the question both for general disposal but also with a concern that it may take a bit extra to really be done with such monsters.
In searching and gathering up whatever may be of value from the bodies, Gorm makes a point to separate the manacles and the other items to one side. Bindings that prevent the casting of magic could potentially be of great benefit one day... She is happy to entrust all the items with the good Doctor until he can explain what they do. The coin, on the other hand, doesn't hold over much interest to her. She is aware that coin is needed and all but she already has more than she ever thought she would. Hoarding more and more is just a bit of a foreign concept to her. "This wealth, did it come from those these creatures terrorized?" she asks mostly of Thandril. "She we return it to them?"
Unfortunately Dr. A. cannot identify the objects but Thandril can. He will do so during the long rest I am assuming you are taking in a safe place. The objects are: Malar Figurine

The manacles restrain one creature, its speed becomes 0 and cannot use any spell.
After burning the corpses of the werewolves for good measure the party finds a quite place near a stream and under some oaks to rest and regain their strength.
Thandril seems a little bit embarrased "Well yes.. my father is an elf of some importance... " the eagle looks at him but says nothing. It's hard to tell if she wants to treat his father with more respect or to keep his mouth closed. "But if you ever come to Cormanthor you'll see. I do think that you should come with me, for there my father could finish your swords. He is more accomplished artisan than I am..."
You can log a long rest and gain a level. Welcome to lvl 4 and decisions!!
((Two of the items are coded wrong and thus not showing up...))
While resting by the stream, Gorm takes a bit of time to cast Speak with Animals as subtly as she can. All in all, she wouldn't mind "overhearing" the eagle's side of their conversation. It's not that she doesn't trust Thandril but having the other half of a conversation be understood unknown to him could prove enlightening. ((Plus I may as well take advantage of the class feature once in a while.))
"Cormanthor? How far is that from here?" Gorm asks. She does believe they are still headed to Neverwinter so is curious how off track this would take them.
Logan listens attentively to Thandril's response, thinking about how poorly Thandril fared last time they parted ways. Perhaps the elf would benefit from an escort home if did not take them too far out of their way...Any maybe the elves had caught wind of some of the cultist activities and would be willing to share information.
