In the bottom deck of the ship you find mostly old, rotten food and a few supplies such as some planks, nails, gunpowder, a few cannonballs, and a few more odds and ends that could be useful for the crew of the Truth's Tenacity. However, you do notice a couple loose planks on the floor by the stairs on the bottom deck.
Make an investigation check
You also see several holes in the hull and about a half foot of salt water in the bottom deck that is slowly rising.

Felix Windfall (Human-V Lv.7 Rogue) killed in ToA,Vallan Houndstrider (Halfling Ghostwise Lv.1 Fighter) in DiA
Krunchy says, "Find me a pot if you can, please Miss Ban!" and he continues rattling down to Truth's Tenacity's galley.
In the Captain's cabin you find it's pretty messy and doesn't have much in it of note. However, under the wooden frame of the bed, which smells pretty awful like an unbathed orc, you find a an old, rusty iron chest that is locked. It's quite heavy so you would need some help with moving it.
Is it possible to move the bed frame? She's not about to try and move something crazy heavy alone if she can't do it.
Str: 12
Evidently, no. Lol. Is it possible to crawl underneath the bed and unlock the chest? Something like 3/4 under the bed with legs sticking out.
OOC: Milo where were you going? The party on the pirate ship or the crew on the Truth's Tenacity?
Milo wants to make sure that his own Crew is doing well. The other ship can wait. Besides, the others are already investigating it. So he goes under his own deck. He had to leave Quint alone even though he was hurt. So he's going to see if everyone is okay and he'll help where he can.
Xander, you don't know what is there specifically as the slightly dirty water is obscuring a closer look, but you obviously know these planks are sticking out like a sore thumb. On the surface they look like they were cut from different types of wood and do not have sealant in-between them like the rest of the hull. Feeling around them you can tell they were nailed in place pretty crudely. It is about a 3'x3' section of wood.
Ban, the bed is a fixture of the hull itself similar to a shelf and cannot be moved without breaking it off. If you have proficiency in using Thieves' tools and actually *have* the tools, you may attempt to unlock it with a d20 + DEX mod + proficiency bonus. If you do do not have proficiency or the tools then just roll a d20 + DEX mod. If you want to move the chest so you can actually open it, then Grol can assist you as he is not currently looking around.
Raphael, they're not actually manacled and not hostile, but if you wish to do so then you can use a couple pairs on the floor. As you guessed, they are likely prisoners.
Milo, you see on the bottom deck the crew is busy bailing out water and patching up the hull. You see there was not catastrophic damage to the hull, so you're in no danger of sinking. Hooper is leading them down below and it appears everything is under control, but they do seem a little demoralized from having a few casualties and probably would appreciate a helping hand. In the middle deck, Malon is busy attending to the few wounded sailors and there are a couple bloodied blankets on the floor covering what appears to be bodies. The worst of it is over in Sick Bay, but she could use help if offered. On the main deck, you see the sails took damage and the deck crew led by Brody is busy cleaning up the damage and have not touched the rigging or sails—an area that you demonstrated skills in early on. They could use repairs or replacing, whichever you wish. Krunchy is in the galley cleaning up and looks dejected that two pots are gone. If you wish to direct him where to go he will probably be happy to assist anywhere.
Indicate what you would like to do and where. Retrieving the sails would require an Acrobatics/Athletics check, Sick Bay a medicine check, bottom deck you can assist with repairs while giving a performance check (they might be more receptive if it was done while helping them). Again, Krunchy will assist wherever he's told since there are 3 places to help.

Milo will first go to the Sick Bay "Do you need a Hand? I'm trying to help out down here. I Need to go to the others but let me do something to make your job easier. And dont worry, we won the fight fantastically!" he says. He goes to the 2 people who are injured the most and use his last Spellslots to cast Cure Wounds (4 and 12). With a smile he goes out.
Than he will go to Hooper. If Milo sees him demoralized, he'll do his best to cheer him up. "Hooper, my friend! We were victorious! We have unfortunately lost some lives, but their sacrifice will be unforgotten, I will see to that! Don't look so sad, try to be happy that with their help we made the world a little better." Milo looks at him with a lot of compassion
Persuasion: 12
After that he goes to the others who are bailing out water and patching up the hull and help them out (and cheering them up)
Xander, you only succeed in removing one of the planks, but you can now see this is a false bottom. Inside the compartment you see the corner of a small iron container which you guess is similar in shape and size to a brief case, however it is too small to manipulate the container through it. You also see a small portion of the actual hull through the small opening you just created.
Milo, in Sick Bay you quickly go in and cure a couple sailors leaving the third to Malon, but she doesn't have a chance to reply before you quickly leave. Down on the bottom deck, I assume you meant if Hooper appears to be demoralized—he does seem a bit worn out and slightly dispirited along with the rest of the crew down there, but overall things could be worse. He says, "Oh, master Milo, we took a bit of a beating down here during the fight, but most of us are ok aside from a few cuts and bruises. If you want to help you can assist with patching up the hill with these planks or help bail out water. Whichever you prefer."You don't need to persuade him to allow you to help, he's more than happy to accept. Krunchy will remain in the galley.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Xander pulls the remaining planks off the compartment and tosses them in the floating water just below your knees. You see it's very clearly a small space in the hull that was used for transporting sensitive cargo, but the orcs used it for smuggling in this case and did a poor job covering up replicating the hull. With your wisdom, you'd guess this ship was likely forcefully stolen at some point and it's almost identical layout suggests it probably belonged to the Black Root navy at some point. There are cannonballs (w/ gun powder), planks, old food, galley supplies, carpentry tools, an extra sail, and the mystery container down below and with water still pouring in, you guess maybe 4 minutes remain until the lower deck is too flooded to retrieve anything else, resulting in the ship starting to sink shortly afterwards. There is enough time to grab 4 items.
Milo, with your Performance you successfully cheer up the crew for a moment so they begin working more efficiently. The Truth's Tenacity's hull is repaired for an extra 5 HP.

ooc: Aye. She has both proficiency and the physical tool set
Licking her lips and swiping back some loose hair, Ban takes out her thieves' tools and starts working. Listening to the ticks as the lock pick moves and tension rod is held in place firmly, she goes diligently into her craft. If she can hear Xander, she'll speed up but take no less care nor focus.
Ban: The iron chest unlocks, but is still under the bed so you're unable to open it.
Xander: Krunchy hears you calling for help from the Truths tenacity and he follows you down below on the pirate ship. "Oh, sir Xander, what do you need me to do??"
Grol: the pirates do not have much of value on them, just their weapons. You find: 6 daggers, 2 rapiers, 2 longbows, 2 light crossbows, 2 scimitars, and 10 gold, 21 silver, and 36 copper pieces. You also hear Raphael announcing he found prisoners as well as Xander and Ban calling for help. You see Xander running across the deck to your ship with a metal container then back below deck on the pirate ship. Krunchy follows behind him.
Milo: You hear Xander calling for help and the pattering of footsteps from the deck while you're down below.
Ban and Raphael: You hear banging from the pirate ship galley growing louder.
Everyone on the pirate ship feels the ship tilting slightly. What do you all do?
"Oy, I found something hidden in the captain's quarters, but I can't move it!", Ban shouts out while giving the heavy object a dirty look for being heavy.
Xander: Krunchy grabs the cannonballs and powder and returns them to Truth's Tenacity.
Ban: With Xander's help I will rule that you both grab it and make your way on the pirate deck with it. With two people it can be moved easily.
Raphael: The prisoners stay where they are and give you a strange look for leaving them, but they just sit down. Krunchy sees you running to the galley so he will watch them for you until you return. In the galley, you see a gigantic, muscular half-orc with a loincloth and greataxe. He is not too much smaller than a short Goliath. He is busy eating all the food in the galley and sees you walk in. He walks over to you and you discover the sound of the banging—it's his forehead smacking the crossbeams on the ceiling. Bang! Thud! Bong! are the sounds you hear when he walks over to you, bashing his head the whole way. He says, "HI!!! ME OG!!!"
