To avoid metagaming...if the ogres are only 200 ft away then would Liavyre notice them as well with her passive perception of 15?
If I need to roll again, Perception 19
Liavyre, eventhough she's never seen one and takes in the sight of the giant with wonder, never blindly attacks something without surveying her surroundings. She scans the surrounding area to see if anything else is nearby. "Anything lurking nearby will hear the noise from this giant if we attack it. We definitely don't want to alert the entire area without being sure." With that see looks around as well.
OOC: Are there any dead trees on the ground for this to use or is this hill sparsely wooded with mainly bushes and plants, as stated?

(There are a few trees in the area, though since the giant is beyond a large piece of foliage it could have a trunk on the other side of that hedge. As for the ogres, there is no need to roll; they are pretty obvious)
She says, "Those ogres down there will definitely hear a fight since they're so close. We'll end up fighting them as well this giant...are you all sure about attacking it? I have a feeling it might be best to move on rather than pressing an avoidable fight with something this dangerous."

If you wish to make a Stealth check to quietly move around the nearby area without drawing attention or waking up the giant, that's fine.
If you'd prefer to Attack the giant, we'll put it into initiative rounds and work things out as they go.
If you'd rather sneak up to the giant, it'd also be a Stealth check.
Keep in mind you haven't had full visual on this giant yet, just seeing its huge belly over the nearby foliage line you were planning on sneaking through.
Liavyre is not a party leader so she will ultimately do what the group wants, whether it's fight or flight, but she naturally prefers to not pick a fight if it's avoidable and favors caution. If it were a heavily wooded forest then she might be more inclined to attack it.
If the decision is to fight then she would prefer using stealth to use the element of surprise and also doing something that Filtch proposed using cunning, rather than walking up and poking it.
Either way, in preparation, she notches an arrow and awaits the plan, whatever it may be.
"If we are fighting, then we should at least take it by surprise with stealth, and if possible, blind it as suggested. Though I would be more inclined to simply go around. We need to do either fast, before the ogres see or smell us and wake this thing up. What's the decision?"

Fjorgin and Filtch take the initiative and dash out from their cover and around the following foliage to attack the giant. (As a side note, you can't attack and hide without using abilities, such as Fighter's Action Surge or Rogue's Cunning Action)
Filtch manages to get there first, rushing up to the huge hulking form of the slumbering giant. It's body is massive, stood up it could easily be triple the height of a person in the group; it is thankful its head is near the ground. He swings a flurry of strikes at the asleep giant, stabbing at its face. He gets two clean strikes that stab at its face, the third only getting a minor scratch. (Hill Giant: 20 Damage)
Fjorgin rushes out alongside Filtch and uses his divine smite to bring a strong blow down onto the giant's other eye (Hill Giant: 38 Damage)
The hill giant sits up with an almost speedy response, letting out a groan of pain, its hands moving towards its eyes. (I'll give it a DC 15 Constitution Saving Throw or start blinded by the attacks: 21 )
"Gah, we should've gone together!" Pip quietly critiques, grabbing his shortbow from over his shoulder.
The group will have had time to move around to be able to see the giant now. It has two large bruises forming at its eye sockets, but the blows didn't quite reach the eyes due to the thick skin around them. The giant has reached over for the nearby log beside it to defend against its assailants. (If anyone wishes to stay within the cover, please state so at the start of their turn)
(Ragmin, since the giant counts as prone, you would either have to move up to within 5 feet of the creature, or make those attack rolls with disadvantage. If you decide to step up, you'll need to roll an additional 2d6 for the critical hit)
