The group decides to set up camp on the edge of the forest, giving them a good visual of the hill and the pool, with only one side obscured by trees.
The first watch seems to go uninterrupted. Leojym reports that the sun set a lot quicker than anticipated. Now looking at the mosaic, an eeriely greenish moon appears to have risen.
The second watch goes quietly as well. Killian notes the rustling in the treeline again, but can't find any source of it.
The third watch it bland and dull. Dark notices that it's getting to dawn already. It seems like the solar cycles here is around every 4 hours, rather than 4 hours.
The fourth watch doesn't have any issues. Simmeat does notice one thing as the others are beginning to awaken, there are a couple of chubby rabbits feeding at the water not too far away.
"Hey guys. I saw some rabbits over by the water." Simmeat says to the group once they've all woken up. "We're in some dire straits when it comes to food. Anyone think they can do a little hunting?"

Killian wakes up, feeling alot better than he did yesterday, takes a drink of water from the water skin, and responds to Sim, "Hunting.....we got attacked for breaking a branch....are we going to just start killing animals? I don't think anything good can come of it. But by all means if anyone is a skilled hunter and wants to take that chance..." Hes looking directly at Dark smiling as if he's trying to talk him out of hunting, a bit of reverse psychology
Leojym takes a drink of water and his stomach growls a bit, "A solid meal could be a boon to all of us right now. As much I would not like to offend, our survival comes first. However, I am no great hunter."
While the group is discussing what to do for breakfast (the gods know that rock candy grass and slowly going bad mushrooms aren't the best diet), the groups begins to realise some things.
For Killian:
You had another strange dream. There were vivid scenes in it, most of them were fleeting and left forgotten in your conscious state. However, something you remember is the sight of a fantastical looking tower made of opalescent stone, towering so high and so brilliant that it pierced the heavens themselves and rose even beyond them.
For Leojym:
You realise that when you tranced last, your mental exercises were overwhelmed with a visions of your past. Negative ones. This time, however, your mental exercises went unimpeded.
Everyone Else:
Last time you properly rested and slept, you had dreadful dreams that made you somewhat fear for your survival. This time, however, you appear to have not had any dreams.
For anyone who wants to go hunting, they can make a Survival check.
Even after a long rest does little to improve the earth genasi's mood. Still, he's mindful enough of the others to request (through gestures) for the sack from whoever he sees possessing it (Leogym?), and putting together the last of the bread, berries together, sprinkling on some crushed "grass" for good measure. Naturally, he taste tests the first after yesterday's... event. This he gives at least a few minutes. So in the meantime, he mutely watches the remaining discussion with a weary look about him.

Dark wakes up from his rest feeling somewhat encouraged and hungry. “Where are the rabbits? I think I should be able to catch them. Rabbits never bother to look up until it is too late.”
With the direction determined, Dark takes to the air circles a couple of times before diving in to attack.

Killian gets up and tells the others hes going for a walk, and heads off along the treeline opposite the cave they came in, looking up to the "Sky" and examining the trees, Thinking about the dream he had of the massive tower so colorful and far reaching how it related to his other dream of the reptilian face grinning devilishly. was this a place he had seen before but the memories somehow blocked? he can remember other things of his life. he walks for about a 20 min, before realizing just how far away he had gotten from the group no longer in sight. although he can see his surroundings he had an uneasy feeling. Ahh get over it just ya nerves getting to ya... He thinks to him self as he returns towards the groups location. walking a little faster on the return trip only slowing his pace again when they are in sight of him so as to not look scared and rushing back to them to cause unnecessary alarm. He sees Dark flying around swooping down to the ground, but the others do not look as if engaged in battle. Ha birds...funny creatures
(OOC: Poke let me know of any rolls you want me to make along my 30-40 Min walk alone)
Mara yawbed as she woke up from their aleep, felling refreshed now that her spells and Healing Pool had filled up once more. She will move to get a frink of water before seeing what the rest of them are doing. She notices that Dark flew after saying something about rabbits. At the prospect of food she smiles and begins to wait for him to return.
Dark heads up to the skies, searching around once again. He notices the pair of chubby rabbits that Simmeat mentioned by the waterside, as he casually glides towards them. The rabbits, however, seem to notice his presence and begin to flee. He notices the glimpse of his shadow is what gave him away. However, he managed to keep up with them, as they don't seem to be the fasted of rabbits. With some swift javelin work, both are quickly skewered, allowing him to return from his bountiful hunt.
Mara heads over to the water nearby, seeing Dark on his hunt not that far away. She tastes the water. There is a somewhat sweet taste to it, like there is to the grass. However, it doesn't seem bad, more like flavoured water. (Think flat cream soda)
Rumble works on making a good breakfast for everyone, using the remainder of the bread to prepare for when Dark returns with his catch. If they can cook up the two bunnies, they'll have quite a hearty sandwich for their breakfast, and should keep them going for a while.
Killian goes on a self-reflecting wander in the meantime. He is still unsure what that dream was about, though he does note that the others didn't seem as disturbed as he felt this morning. Perhaps they have adapted quicker than he has? As he wanders, he notices something in the wooded area; a huge boulder that is almost as tall as a trunk of one of the trees.
After his walk and contemplation, he sits and waits for breakfast to finish. I tell the group of the boulder, but nothing else really looked out of place here. He picks a bit of grass to put into his pouch as a little snack for later. Looking over his items he still has the 2 remaining beads of water, some phosphorescent moss looks to be enough to cast light 2 more times, the potion of healing, his torch which looks about half used and the book. "Her Mara, Leo how much of this do you have left?" Holding up the moss, "In case we get into areas we need light, want to see how much we have left. Maybe we should gather more torches."

It's not that the spell uses the moss. It's a living plant and over time can lose its phosphorus nature, I believe keeping it damp and covered helps prolong its usage.

There are a couple of spears left behind by the halflings which maybe could be used as javelins (if you want to try using them as hunting tools).
Leojym takes a drink of water and his stomach growls a bit, "A solid meal could be a boon to all of us right now. As much I would not like to offend, our survival comes first. However, I am no great hunter."
Darnell frowns, having just woken up a few minutes before.
"I hunt, but the way I do it takes a while. Not great for something like this. I can try, though."
And that's all I have to say about that.
