"The next hours we'll have to spend waiting give us a most opportune chance of talking with the neighbors of the bathhouse for information on the owner. Knowing about him beforehand removes our fears that we may have been set up on a trap, while also providing insight into his personality." Rellahne says, a mix of her usual seriousness with a bit of excitement over the opportunity of collecting information. "I say we put our focus on that, instead of returning to our quarters."

Pros and Cons to the plan.
Pro: Potentially more information before the encounter. Always a good thing.
Con: You've been up for a while now. If things start to happen and the adventure really takes off, you will start getting exhausting points in about six hours.

(Right, it's because we have stayed up all night before this. I had forgotten about that. In that case...)
"With that said, this night without sleep has lead me to feel a bit unfocused already. Perhaps we can have a bit of both. We spend the next hour getting information, then go back to our quarters for some rest. Regardless of how long it takes, we wait until we're prepared to come back. We don't need to be here the moment the bathhouse opens." Rellahne adds to her own point, the same tone kept through her words.
"Ah agree, ya folks sure look like ya need a good rest. Let's see what we can find out about the place in an hour and then head on home to a nice hot stew and ah mighty large mug of ale."

Irena using her experience as an investigator, finds a gossiping lady doing laundry instead a small laundry shop. After trading gossip for about 20 minutes she learns the following information
8620 Hookface the dragon was spotted flying over the hills to the north by some adventures - hope they don't go rile him up!
18 Something's been riling up the wild animals in the area for the last several months; in particular, the lowland boboons seem to have become especially hostile lately.
Irena subtlety turns the conversation to the neighborhood and learns that Orak Stonehaven, the proprietor of Orak's Bathhouse has been acting strange the last few weeks. He hasn't left the Bathhouse in over a week, even though he only lives a few blocks away. Steering the conversation on the Bathhouse, she also learns that Orak doesn't allow armor or weapons into the Bathhouse, besides his handaxe, which never leaves his side. Aslo the the use of the bathhouse is fairly cheap, 1 Sp for a public bath (double that for a private bath), and 1 Sp for a bar of soap.
Nobody else learns anything and you all head back to your house sleep for a good eight hours, getting up around 4pm. How do you want to proceed from here?

Shadow leads the group back to the bathhouse and finding it open to the public, opens the door and walks in. You see...
Onyx tiles cover the floor of the bathhouse, and the vaulted ceiling rises to a height of20 feet. A 25-foot diameter sunken basin is set into the floor against the south wall, and water fills it. A translucent crystal dome above the pool allows light to enter and creates water reflections on the walls. Several smaller areas lead off of the main room; however, bead curtains or doors block your view of these areas. Currently there is 0 customer using the public bath.
A middle-aged dwarf with a ruddy complexion, thinning red hair, and a long beard, pokes his head out of a around one of the beaded doorway and seeing you hurriedly come over. He wears a black eye patch set with a small ruby gemstone over his right eye, and has a handaxe looped on his belt. His hand is resting on the axe handle as he says.
"Wll noww, that aren't any weapons or armor alo'ed in here folks. If ye want to do businss, loss the iron"

[[Irena left her weapons at home. She will surrender the wand if asked. Assuming noone balks at disarming, She responds.]]
"Of course, Mr. Orak, your house, your rules. We'd like to talk to you a bit, but I'd certainly like to avail myself of one of your private baths after. You don't happen to offer any finer oils or soaps, do you? I'm fine if basic soap is all you offer, but I'm willing pay extra if you can help."
Irena presses 2 gold pieces into his hand, hoping he gets the hint and loosens his tongue. [[Persuasion: 18]]

We should go talk to the owner of the bath shop. If we don't get any good information, we can always stake it out tonight to watch for goblins
