I'll sneak back to the main group and tell them I have seen. I agree we will have to rest up first. " I think we should head back down the path a bit and attack at dawn. We'll need to get as close possible and attack together so they don't raise any alarms.
OOC: Please give me a Survival check, or Wisdom if you are not proficient in survival, and a Stealth check or Dex check if you are not proficient in stealth to sneak away and find a good safe place to camp and rest up.
Together you all manage to find and secure a safe place to rest for the night a mile or two away from the Goblin hideout.
OCC: Everyone gets a long rest.
L o n g R e s t A long rest is a period o f extended downtime, at least 8 hours long, during which a character sleeps or performs light activity: reading, talking, eating, or standing watch for no more than 2 hours. The nest morning you track your way back tot he cave hideout and are again poised on the edge of the forest...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
20 I rub my beard spit the trail my bolt follows in my cross bow and slowly comando crawl my way forward still in the undergrowth..watching for Charlie..always watching for Charlie
With shield in off hand, i grab 3 pebbles out of my pouch preped to cast magic stone. I hold back to find a position where i can see the cave entrance, should the rangers fail to kill the two guards quietly i will engage any that come out to there aid or attempt to kill either of the guards as they run back inside
i'll wait at the tree line until they have taken out the two goblins, as my old drillmaster would say "Stealth, Camouflage, Cunning... can kill a Grobbi as well as a battleaxe to the head, but best leave it to the pointy eared sneaky gits"
Eedim and Titus creep up on the Blind that concealed the Goblin sentries the day before.
The goblins seem to have no clue they are in some serious danger from the two rangers manoeuvring to ambush them.
OOC:
Titus and Eedim are both in a good position to shoot or charge in and attack. You near no obvious noises from inside the cave. Let me know what you are all going to do :)
Aye, the pointy eared laddy is right, we're peely-wally, no doubting it

Using hand signals to Eedim to indicate that I'll shoot the goblin on the right I loose an arrow. 14 to hit 8 dam
Titus looses the arrow and it flies true. The goblin goes down blood gushing from its surprised mouth, the shaft through its neck!
i steady my self breathe in aim fie at his throat 4
Eedim fires his cross bow, but the bolt deflects of of a thicket branch and whizz's past the goblin and thunks against the stone cliff behind him.
The goblin looks at his dead comrade eyes open wide standing still in shock.
OOC: The goblin is surprised and does nothing this round.
