"The Doomvault... Probably full of unicorns and rainbows." -An imaginary quote
You recognize the beast as an ankylosaurus. You know it to be notably slower and weaker than the triceratops, and to have no specific immunities, weaknesses or vulnerabilities.
With a slam that shakes the nearby trees, the triceratops manages to gore the adventurer... but Gordon, in his newly-enlarged size manages to dig his heels in and avoid being trampled by the brute. Another loud roar bellows from the beast as it pulls back its horns and stamps its feet, staring the fighter down.

Rizo summons a group of pixies at Gordon’s position which immediately start massaging healing oil onto Gordon’s shoulders. (Healing Spirit@L3, 2d6 healing at the start of Gordon’s turns for as long as they are at his position but max five times). Then he brings down a Green-Flame Blade on the other dinosaur.
Several pixies appear around Gordon in a puff of iridescent glitter, and immediately begin giggling as they rub their hands over Gordon... particularly his face, as that's the easiest part of his body to access. The adventurer can feel the healing effects magically flow through him.
It's then that Rizo swings his weapon at the second dinosaur, missing as the beast positions itself for another tail attack.
(( Locke is up! ))
(( OCC: Locke will attempt a Nature check: 7 ))
The merchant tried to take advantage of Rizo's position, using his ally's distraction to close in on the attacking beast, setup his spell, and land an attack. Summoning his patron's energies as he moved into range, he hexed the beast, then leapt into a jump kick in an effort to damage something besides the creature's shins.
MOVE: Five feet into melee range BONUS: Cast Hex on the unknown dino, targeting his Strength checks ACTION: Unarmed attack on the dino * Jumping Side Kick - Attack: 20, Damage: 4 mundane bludgeoning and 3 necrotic (add 4 and 1 on crit)
The kick lands squarely on the beast's knee, doing solid if minor damage. Locke lands and immediately takes up a stance to allow maximum flexibility in his movement.

Ruaccek takes careful aim, and delivers a devastating shot right into the triceratops' other eye. The beast gives out another earth-shaking bellow as it rears up on its hind legs, then falls to the ground with a mighty crash, dead. The aarakocra then flies up as high as possible above the other dinosaur (ooc: he's now 50 feet high, just below the jungle canopy,) maneuvering for a better shot.
(( Ankylosaurus is up! ))
The second dinosaur spins, using its spiked tail to launch an attack at one of the two engaged adventurers. (OOC: 2, 1 = Locke, 2 = Rizo)
ACTION: Ankylo makes a tail swing at its target * Tail - Attack: 27, Mundane Piercing Damage: 18 (36 instead on a crit) * Regardless of whether the hit lands, the target needs to make a DC 14 Strength save or be knocked prone
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rizo barely evaded the spiked tail and didn’t expect a quake from the tail hitting the ground. He tries to keep his footing, STR save DC 14 or prone: 8
Rizo foot got stuck when he tried to rebalance and he toppled over. The pixie spirits hovering around Gordon heal him for 5 HP (4 charges left, 54s duration and concentration).

Gordon holds his ground, and tries to wrestle with the dinosaur. His increased size adds 4 extra damage to the first attack that hits.
Attack: 27 Damage: 9
Attack: 25 Damage: 10
Grapple (if an attack hits): 22

Gordon moves back to land two solid blows to the ankylosaurus, crushing its left-side ribs before successfully grappling and restraining the beast. (OOC: it had rolled a 21, so it's still grappled.)

Rizo gets up and infuses his wooden staff with the energy of the wildfire, casting Shillelagh. Then he swings the weapon further channeling the fiery energy with Green-Flame Blade.
(( OOC: I'll presume Gordon ran back to the ankylo, since the triceratops is already dead. ))

Rizo deftly casts two spells to empower his weapon, before slamming it down on the ankylosaurus and bloodying the creature with his flame!
(( Locke is up! ))
Seeing the dinosaur weaken at Rizo's attack, Locke tried to put everything into his next attack to finish the beast. Focusing his ki, he spun into a two-elbow combo before finishing with a leap and a strike with his knee to the creature's head.
BONUS: Spend 1 ki point on Flurry of Blows for two unarmed attacks * First Elbow - Attack: 18, Damage: 7 mundane bludgeoning plus 6 necrotic (add 1 and 6 on crit) * Second Elbow - Attack: 23, Damage: 4 mundane bludgeoning plus 2 necrotic (add 1 and 2 on crit) ACTION: Unarmed strike to the dino * Flying Knee - Attack: 16, Damage: 9 mundane bludgeoning plus 3 necrotic (add 7 and 3 on crit)
Two ki points left (actually had three left last turn.) End of turn!
Locke's first elbow lands with a loud snap to the dinosaur's shin, and although the second blow misses, his flying knee to the ankylosaurus' head delivers an even louder crack. The beast roars in pain, a roar that quickly fades into a moan as the creature falls to the ground onto its belly, sending dirt and debris flying as it breaths out its last.
The sounds of the jungle/forest slowly resume now that the dinosaurs have stilled.
(( End of Encounter! ))
(( OOC: What will the party do? Attempt to rest, move forward, or some other option? Feel free to take actions before resuming your trek. ))
Before we get to our next encounter, I want to point out that HomebrewMindFlayer has also approved my new treasure table (link in my sig.) I had planned on using it for our loot this outing, as it provides a wider variety of items and seems more balanced (particularly for certain classes.) I'd welcome everyone to take a look, and if you have any concerns over using the newer table over the old, please let me know!
