@DM if you'd like to play with your character but you don't like soloing it completely, I am willing to play the part of the creatures you choose. Let me know if you'd like that.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.

Sure. Sounds like a good deal. I'll create a new character in a couple hours. Might torture myself to go against the hell wasp with a human war priest
Peyton Kane is a Variant Human, Initiate of High Sorcery (Nuitari). From the Nuitari spell list, he chose false life, hex, and fire bolt, cast using Wisdom. He bought an Ioun Stone of Protection (1200), Magic longsword +1 (1000), Adamantine Splint (700), Potion of Heroism (180), Four Scrolls of Healing Word 1st (240), One Scroll of Healing Word 2nd (120), a Shield (10), and an Explorer's Pack (10). With only one level of Fighter, he has the Dueling Style and Second Wind. With two levels in Cleric (War Domain), he has Channel Divinity Guided Strike, War Priest Bonus Attacks, and can cast 3 spells of 1st level. With AC 20, HP 26, Con Save +4, Arcana +2, he drinks his Potion of Heroism for 10 temporary hit points and jumps into the portal, to fight a Hellwasp (Encounter 1D)
Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.
How I'm posting based on text formatting: Mod Hat Off - Mod Hat Also Off (I'm not a mod)
Oh, that's kinda weird. When I look at your character sheet, it's unattuned and you have an AC of 19.

Ha, I already attuned it on the character sheet to get AC 20 but since we are roleplaying...
Peyton attunes his Ioun Stone
After searching the Laboratory and finding the clues, you were able to activate an unidentified planar portal. Either on purpose or by accident, the portal is now open and surges of arcane energy taunts you to enter. You may decide to report back to the Wardens with a full report and then return the next day to explore the portal. Either way, you are here now and your decision to jump is final.
As you enter the portal, you feel nauseous in a way that is consistent with all teleportation effects. As the jump ends, you find yourself on the edge of a hellscape. looking upon a vast wasteland of lava rivers and fires. Rocky cliffs and burning red sky, dotted with winged fiends, is all you can see from your vantage point, on the edge of a mountain.
In front of you is a horrific hell wasp flying 20 feet high directly towards you, it is about 50 feet away.
For simplicity, there is a sheer cliff behind the fiend with an 80 foot drop. Behind you is rocky and difficult terrain going up for 100 feet. In front of you, is an 80 foot semi-circular area with no difficult terrain. The portal, behind you is now deactivated.

The hell wasp continues her approach. It appears that the creature has identified Peyton as her community's next meal! Without hesitation, it attempts to sting Peyton and skewer him with its talons.
1st Attack: 19 Damage: 5 piercing plus 8 fire damage. If the attack hits, Peyton must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned and paralyzed for 1 minute. He can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
2nd Attack: 22 Damage: 12 piercing damage

Ouch, Peyton is missed by the Sting but takes 12 damage, losing his temps and getting some real damage.

The longsword slashes along the wasp side and leaves a small gash. Frustrated that its prey still fights back, the wasp aims again with its stinger while continuing to poke with the talons.
Attack: 20 Damage: 8 piercing and 11 fire damage, if hit DC 12 Con save
Attack: 18 Damage: 11

Another one bites the dust!
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.

Nearly dead, Peyton makes a Con Save DC 12 vs 17
Going all out, Peyton says, "This may be my last attempt to slay this foul beast. Torm guide my sword."
Peyton longsword with Guided Strike Attack: 36 Damage: 15
Bonus Action War Priest 23 Damage: 13
That's a formula glitch, it should be 18+16, total 34 damage and a con save for hex concentration, 14
The "if" picked up the 4 from potion of heroism, so I'll have to move the 1d4 outside of the roll next time
I roll 4 twice on a 2d4, yikes. So the 24 loses the second damage roll and becomes 18, the 16 looses 4 damage and becomes 12. That's 30 total
