Progo feeling like their own torches gave themselves away befire figures there's no need to hide. He outs one hand on the hilt of his raiper and slowly moves closer to see if there were infact people by the fire.
Tryn notices how his companions stiffen and is alarmed further by Goraseth relaying Tharanau's observation. He considers to put out the torch but what will that do now? Most of them will still be able to see only he will be blind. No, best to keep it on for now. He closely follows Tharanau who appears to be inquiring about the situation.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
The situation is tense. It seems that ambushers decide to try their luck, even though their trap did not work out. All of you hear sudden tauten of bowstrings. /I will roll initiative, individual initiative this time. Noone is suprised, since Tharanau let you know about the danger, when goblins where still waiting for you to step into the trap. None of you is hidden as well, since all of you were well lit./ Tharanu watching figures on the scarp closely acts first before arrows are released. (all of the goblins are in dim light, oh which just reminded me that Tharanaus roll for perception i should call for a disadvantage :P but we will not recap this now. just for future reference)
Tharanau realises that there is no talking to these creatures. They seem to be goblins. He tries to back away and shoot the first goblin (red) with his ray of frost, but misses in the dim light.
"Progo, Tryn, could either of you throw your torch up on the scarp? Or maybe extinguish the fire down here? Just be super careful with the trap on the ground!"
(Sorry, I had forgotten to provide a picture for Tryncaryn. Here it is. Also, Tharanau has darkvision so dim light would let him see normal within a 60 feet radius. Also the torch that Tryn carries makes bright light in a 20 feet radius and dim light up to 40 feet.)

Great. I was waiting for a picture. It was bugging me a little that your portrait did not have one :P
Yes that is all true, In the map you see radius of Progo nightvision. I remember about Torch, but those goblins up there are 20 feet up the scarp so still in dim light. as well as seeing by darkvision counts as in dim light. dim light only gives you disadvantage to perceive per perception roll. attack rolls are made normal.

i am so sorry i totally missed tiomila post with her action. No 12 does not hit. Goblins turn. They focus fire on Tharanu, they are mad that he won't go further into the trap.
3 of them hit with arrows for total damage of 17 11(one critical hit in it) silvery barbs reduced and shield protected Tharanau completely.
Red and yellow went back and are trying to hide, but are too loud. however keep in mind they would have total cover from distant attacks from lower level of ground Orange (i rolled for stealth but decided they should not be able since they did not broke the line of sight with any of you) however are still by the edge so can be targeted via ranged attack.
/you might see more rolls than stated here since i was rolling for blue as well, and then remembered it is not hist turn so erased that/
Goraseth is casting bless (action, +1d4 for attack and saving throws) on his 3 companions. (I’m hoping Thanadau's shield could stop some attacks). « May Bahamut guide your arms ».
he then runs with his torch in end towards the blue Gobelin staying 10ft away from them and putting light on them.
Tryn saw it coming. Not with his two eyes it may be expected but with another, inner eye. He raised his voice to call out a warning to Tharanau in an effort to let him avoid that painful arrow (Silvery Barbs on the critical hit, advantage to Progo). Then, he follows Goraseth towards the ramp that would let them climb up to the goblins (V10). on his way he flings a dart at the goblin near Goraseth if he can see it well (at most half cover), otherwise he dashes up the ramp.
(In case the attack triggers: Attack: 8 Damage: 5)

Using his full movement and bonus action dash to climb and move:
Progo scrambles up the scarp in attempt to catch the goblins off guard. Normally Progo wouldn't have ever thought to try such an act since his climbing skills are subpar are best, but his momentum was already in that direction and they hid behind the walls too much to see. Successfully making his way up side, which even surprised Progo himself that he managed to make it, he draws his raiper and charges the red goblin.
Ok, Silvery barbs worked, reduced dmg to 11. Tryncaryn attack misses. Goraseth you wear a shield in one hand, therefore must use other free hand to perform somatic and material requirements for bless spell, also yo have not stated that you have lit the torch before fight, and lighting the torch with tinderbox takes an action. So you bless other but you are without light. If you are quick i will allow you to change your position knowing what you know. After casting spell, you can use free action to either draw a torch or a weapon. Yes progo by my count it was enough you dealt your dmg with rapier.
Blue goblin joined orange and shot Progo 15 attack for 5 dmg (rolled scimitar but dices are the same as shortbow)
Oh my mistake, I was assuming I was carrying my torch. Dropping it (free action) before doing the spell. So I will not move yet then.and the torch in on the floor.
planning to picking it up next round and attack the Gobelins with my torch next round I guess. (Non-proficient weapon)
When the first of the incoming arrows is about to hit Tharanau, he quickly waves his hands around and a shimmering shield is protecting him (casting shield as reaction, raising AC to 20 - so with silvery barbs for the critic should not take any damage in the first round?)
Then he watches as his team springs into action, trying to get close to these pesky goblins. The shield vanishes and Tharanau tries to attack again, one of the two goblins still visible (blue) - this time the frosty ray finds its target (22+3bless for damage 3) hurting but also slowing the goblin down.
Yes the, shield protects you from projectiles completely thanks to silvery barbs as well.
3 Goblins gang up on Progo, and one of them crits, one hits (those are two scimitar attacks) third one misses with shortbow. For total damage of 17. (i had to add modifier +2 for critical roll as i noticed my vtt does not adds that up for critical roll damage, only doubles dice - will make a ticket about that :P)

(How far would Progo have to move to up to them with the elevation changes?)
the scarp is 20ft high, climbing it would be hard terrain and DC 15 Athletics check.
so you need 40movement to climb the scarp itself.
