ok.. i think i got it.. either of the first 2 methods above work.. i guess it takes some time for the tool-tip equations to refresh right after editing a post. so i leave ti to our DM but as those are clean rolls i would like to use em should it be impossible to defer rolls from the first set.
OOC: Lol, none of those rolls are good. You have 1 action, so 1 attack. You used your bonus to move, so no offhand. When you roll 2 attacks, you roll them separately, with separate damage.
Kitryn hears the Ruffian yelling and comes running back into the cellar. Seeing the light spilling out from the open doorway behind the ruffian, she moves in and gets in a quick slash on her way past. She hops up onto a barrel, crouches and prepares for her next attack.
OOC: I took the liberty of moving you onto the barrels, as you had 5 feet of movement left and doing so takes advantage of shadows yet doesn't leave his area of influence, so no opportunity attack.
i was trying to use just the basic tab of the dice roller. rolling advantage is a drop one right. so the post 603 gives the correct to-hit result using either formula of first and second rolls. the dmg rolls were reference in 602 as i did not play with those.
in advantage i should net effect 2d20 drop1 +4 for each to hit. and d6+2 main, d6 2nd, +d6 sneak special if either hits. (cost 2actions)
yes, i see now that the 2 weapon and cunning are the same 'slot' so my cunning 'dash' is not a tertiary action as i thought and burns the 2 weapon attempt. i do believe i still get the sneak bonus dmg as that is a 'no action' cost.
@ Wolvesgar: In theory what you're trying to do is correct, but there's one specific reason why there's a combat tab as well as a basic tab, and that is when you crit in combat, your damage dice are doubled. If you use the basic tab, you have to manually do the damage rolls and you won't know until after if you need to go back and roll more dice for a crit. If you use the combat tab, it will do it automatically.
And yes, your sneak attack damage applies. I will edit Roll20.
Katerielle messaged me and she will be doing a thorn whip. She will run around to the base of the stairs below Leek and cast, then move back into the corner with her remaining 5 feet. Thorn Whip: 19 Damage: 4
Elila stands her ground, unsure of what to do in the darkness.
Katerielle runs down onto the cellar floor and casts Thorn Whip. As the vine sprouts from the floor and lashes out, wrapping itself around the form of the ruffian, Rindelk launches his firebolt, which kills the ruffian and burns the vine to ash.
Elila sees the flash of the firebolt and the flare as it hits the ruffian, but once the corpse falls to the ground and flames die away, the darkness washes over her once again. Only lamplight from inside the room spills out into the cellar. Unsure what to do in the darkness, she holds her position.
Voices can be heard freaking out, "What the ****! Seg. They burned Seg. What do we do?" "Take a position on the other side of the door. Don't go out into that darkness. Make noise, we need backup!" You hear loud clanging sounds, like metal striking stone as well as another deeper noise, like something hitting a wooden barrel or box.
OOC: Leek, Kitryn and Elila's turns. Leek, your move in post #608 is invalid as there is no ruffian in sight to sling.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I have 25 feet movement. Each square is 5 feet? If so, then I will move to V16 (But can I run double? If I can get double movement in run, I want to go by the secret door and get ready for the renforcements. (Run to the square next to the door, then hide. (Stealth to hide? 17
Leek moves down the stairs and towards the secret door, trying his best to remain unnoticed. Unfortunately, he bumps into the barrels, knocks a small one off the stack and it hits the floor with an 'crack' that can be heard even above the din the ruffians are making.
Kitryn perches on the barrels, blades ready to strike as soon as a ruffian steps into the cellar. Elila, still blind in the darkness, continues to hesitate. A ruffian acts in the room and the body of Seg is pulled out of the doorway. Those near the door can hear, "We'll be safer if we close the door! I'm getting Seg out of the way, you shut it."
OOC: One ruffian pulled the body out of the way and told the other to shut the door. The door isn't actually closed, yet.
Rindelk's firebolt streaks across the room, briefly lighting up the stairs, floor, cistern and finally the door to the adjacent room. The door itself, being thick and damp doesn't seem to take much damage from the small bolt, but a small flame about the size of a candle's does begin to burn. In time, without any intervention, it is likely the door will fully catch on fire and burn to the ground.
since you seem so keen on my 'reviewing' of my unused action and no-one else has taken theirs. i'm going to switch this up..
i can use my cunning action to add dash to movement and cover the full distance around the cistern. then lets see if the dice favour me.
first time rolling advantage modifier: lets see if this works.
main 32 7 nope testing again: 17 HTF do you plug it into the roller? highlighted equation doesn't make sense.. 27 17
2nd 37 3
plus 1 sneak attack dmg due to advantage

do i have any of that incorrect?

When it is my turn I will move out, sling the ruffian, and move back behind the wall
Attack: 5 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
The rogue gets a rock in the back of the head!...
Rolling for Rindelk again for advantage: 3

I whisper, "It sounds like they might be rolling a barrel our way. I am certain this isn't good!"

are we in combat & initiative order still?
i will prepare a ready action for any ruffian that comes within striking distance: grapple to pull them into darkness.

I want to cast Firebolt and attack the door!
Attack: 13 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
It's not closed yet. Just heard one ruffian tell the other one to close it. Edited post #616 to make this clearer.
Clarification #2: Rindelk wants to shoot the open door before they get a chance to close it...
Rindelk's firebolt streaks across the room, briefly lighting up the stairs, floor, cistern and finally the door to the adjacent room. The door itself, being thick and damp doesn't seem to take much damage from the small bolt, but a small flame about the size of a candle's does begin to burn. I'm holding my action, expecting people to rush out the hidden door. If they do, I will cast THUNDERWAVE to knock em all down to shit!
