You can see in darkness (shades of gray) up to 60 ft.
While your familiar is within 100 feet of you, you can communicate with it telepathically. Additionally, as an action, you can see through your familiar's eyes and hear what it hears until the start of your next turn, gaining the benefits of any special senses that the familiar has. During this time, you are deaf and blind with regard to your own senses.
I recall Kled back to my pocket being satisfied the room is safe.
OOC: FYI, your familiar can be out in the world without you watching through its eyes and ears. Watching through eyes and ears is a choice you make (1 action)
Impatient Leek pushes past Rindelk, Elila and Katerielle, jostling and brushing up against them, causing worn items to clank and clatter on everyone's person. Then going down the first flight of stairs, some loose stones get knocked over and fall to the floor of the cellar 15 feet below. Hopefully the Redbrands are expecting company, because your arrival has not been silent.
Regardless of the noises being made, there is no alarm or any type of heightened activity that would indicate a confrontation.
OOC: Those in the room (and any one that retroactively enters the room after this post) make a Perception check.
Rindelk enters the room, standing on the top landing next to Katerielle. Those in the room see no movement except for the flickering shadows caused by the oil lamps. The few noises that aren't caused by yourselves seem natural. There is a strong smell of dust and wood, probably from the barrels.
You heard from Sildar earlier about the history of the town, how it was founded and how it was eventually destroyed by the Orcs. The manor itself is probably original, but there's nothing standard or common about the construction and design that would give you any insight into the cellar or what to expect.
OOC: Blind and def? I beg to differ...

"Nobody home? Let's go in," Leek says as he impatiently pushes through.
Sneak: 4
Aaaaaaaaaaand he trips over Rindelk's foot and smashes into a display of china glasses, drums and wind chimes...

Maybe the rogue should check for traps. Plus, is there just the one door at the end of the room, next to what seems to be a water hole?
OOC: Two doors. One is underneath where you're standing now (north-east of the cellar).

Elila enters the room beside Rindelk (Perception check: 15).
Everyone is now in the room.
OOC: What do you all want to do?

The door does not appear to be locked or trapped.
are there any signs that people have been in or out of here? tracks in the dust? mud? Footprints?...
Is it a perception roll for that? If so: 13
