Given you crit on your attack, I'll say you didn't just hack the goblin, you landed on it.
However, sticking a landing is a DEX check, not STR. You rolled a 14 (on your STR check) and your DEX bonus is +1. So yeah, you manage to stay on your feet.
The remaining goblin witnesses one of its fellows head cleaved in while up on a rickety ladder, then another get impaled and crushed by the falling form of the goblin killer. Freaking out, the goblin will open the door beside it and yell goblinoid gibberish, then bonus action disengage and run away from Elila, through the curtain, where it continues to freak out as it sees and steps over Kitryn prone on the floor and an owlbear ramming at the southern door.
(Katerielle can see the goblin as it passes the curtain and use her ready action to shoot the crossbow.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rindelk moves past Katerielle, leaps over the small gap and seeing the goblin below fires a firebolt at it, being careful not to hit Kitryn. But Rindelk is too careful and misses the goblin too, the bolt impacting the floor between the goblin and the owlbear.
From the next room over, a Hobgoblin holding a long sword in two hands moves next to Elila and attacks...
2h Long Sword Attack: 18 Damage: 8
... bouncing the blow against Elila's shield. It yells in goblinoid back into the room it came from.
Leek runs through the passage he dug out, stopping next to the goblin and urges the owlbear to escape to the north.
The owlbear sees the goblin in it's way and tries to knock it prone...
Owlbear STR check of 15 vs. Goblin DEX check of 13
... but the owlbear can't hit the goblin who ducks under the huge paw swipe.
(Everyone but Leek and Rindelk can act in this new round.)
GM: For the record, I'm not trying to get the Owlbear to escape. I'm trying to get it under control so it fights with us. I'm hoping this will turn out to be another pet/follower. If I'm wasting my time and Animal Handling is not the right skill to tame an Owlbear, please let me know. I'll put my efforts on slicing goblin necks instead...
Katerielle will keep low moving on the roof back along the wall, over the door the owlbear was battering at then along the wall on the other side of the Owlbear. (Should be Q15 to Q16, to P17, to O17, to N16, to N15 and depending on how diagonals are counted will end her move there or in O14 if she has another 5 feet.) She squats down to give herself as much cover from below as she can get from below while waiting for a shot on a goblinoid that is not in melee combat.
Action: Ready a shot at first goblinoid not in melee combat she can see.

Taming animals that aren't just cuddly pets is the domain of Rangers. You can make it go in a certain direction, or not eat you. But taming it is not going to happen in minutes, let alone days. You're one animal handling roll away from it deciding you're in the way of its freedom.
Elila swings her sword and without a shield, the Hobgoblin is not able to avoid a deadly blow. The hobgoblin crumples to the ground, bleeding profusely from the massive gash in its neck.

The goblin that is beside Leek could be seen from where you were. But I moved you anyway. You can take your shot.
Kitryn stands up (15 feet of movement used) and backstabs the goblin, sinking both weapons through the goblin's torso.
Elila hears noises from inside the room to her right, and another hobgoblin shows up, with a shield equipped. It stands in front of the doorway to use it as a choke point, while it hollers as loud as it can.
The door beside the owlbear opens and surprised shrieks are heard by Kitryn, Leek, Katerielle and Rindelk. No one can see what is behind that door.
Everyone gets to go before the goblinoids in this new round. The owlbear acts simultaneously with Leek. Leek, if you don't roll animal handling, the owlbear acts randomly.
OOC: Heck yeah, Elila is no coward when faced with adversity. I'll accept the falling damage but made an Athletics roll to stay on her feet to attack.

WHEN IS MY TURN!?!?!?!? I want the Owlbear to bathe in the blood of its goblin overlords!!!!

Adding Hobgoblins to initiative:
New initiative order:
Katerielle shots her crossbow at the fleeing goblin, but misses again high. She quickly reloads and fires at the goblin once more.
Attack: 6 Damage: 8
(OOC: rolled for the readied shot when I declared it. The roll was an 8.)
Katerielle in Lost mine of Phandelver.
Bhelmek Thuldren in The dark tower of Cabilar.
Iam Unsure in Tower of Heaven.
Katerielle sees the goblin pass the curtain and takes her shot, but misses, the bolt flying above the diminutive goblin's head.
(Rindelk has to play before the Hobgoblin, then everyone else before the last goblin + hobgoblin)
I move beside Kat and cast Firebolt on the nearest enemy!
Attack: 10 Damage: 5

The almost top down vantage point on the goblin below makes for a small target, and Katerielle misses.

(Kitryn and Rindelk left, I think?)
Ah, ok. Let me know when it is my turn to act then.
(Waiting on Kitryn.)
(( Sorry I got stuck traveling for work )) Kitryn will pull her shortswords and take two attacks at the the goblin between her and the owlbear.
Attack 1: 20 for 9 and 7 sneak attack dmg.
Off hand attack: 18
