Look I've only been drinking for 15 hours (not exaggerating) but I feel as part of the canon fodder group that we should at least get one round off of range before charging.

Leroy Jenkins (ish)!!?
Do lighting conditions allow for ranged attacks, particularly for those without dark vision? Do the trees and bushes allow for ranged attacks if we can see?
Humans are not going to have sight on targets until on top of them unless illumination is provided. It is a cloudy, basically moonless night. Darkvision will be normal.

Assuming we have a quorum, i have moved characters in position. Obviously stealth will be paramount for the group. I assume that the goblin scouting party will have also moved during our positioning. Feel free to make adjustments to character positions?
If we get a surprise round, Erbert hopes to lead the action by casting sleep on the blue circled area ((getting a bug on the map now and can’t see it.)). Radius of 20 feet, diam 40 feet, range 90 feet. He put 20 hit points of monsters asleep and then runs due west/southwest to get behind cover.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Nerves are tight as you separate into two groups to engage this patrol of goblins and a hobgoblin. Bronk accepts the bow and arrows. He has a wide rim of red surrounding his eyes from the berries he picked earlier. He turns to Ebert, "Bronk Blood Eye Yip-whine.....not barK BaRk Yip-whine." He stays between Bran and Trolkarl as you approach. Trolkarl leads the ranged fire group to slip in behind the patrol as it passes to the SE. He as good vision with his long range Darkvision. The patrol shows no sign of recognizing the danger they are in until the melee group opens fire.
The melee group makes contact visually and opens fire. Gneuman leads off with a deadly strike from his sling at long range, To hit = 17, 24 (disadvantage), Damage = 7. That goblin falls to the ground after Gneuman's missile connects with a wet TWACK to the goblin's forehead. He then closes ground to engage in melee.
Not to be outdone, Hoid fires an arrow at the other lead goblin, To Hit = 23, Damage = 9. His arrow buries deep into the goblin's chest and it collapses as well. Hoid then closes.
Leroy Jenkins in on the scene, charging at the screams of the dying ahead of him.
Erbert hears the combat start and targets his Sleep on the center of the group of goblins. Two of the goblins slump to the ground. Erbert then gives ground to avoid direct engagement.
Trolkarl targets the Hobgoblin with his Eldritch Blast. Striking with advantage he hits, To Hit = 11, 19, Damage = 6 and pulls him 10' closer.
Kragen follows up on the Hobgoblin with his /Sacred Flame spell. The hobgoblin succeeds on dodging the brunt of the spell and takes 4 Radiant damage.
Bronk follows up with an arrow from his short bow. He sights his target and fires with advantage. The Hobgoblin is off balance after the effects of Grasp of Hadar and the radiance of Kragen's spell. To Hit = 6, 24 (Nat 20), Damage = 13. Bronk's arrow lodges into the throat of the hobgoblin, it gurgles, and dies. Bronk draws another arrow and stands his ground between Trolkarl and Bran.
On Hoid’s turn, I believe he can get in sight range of goblin 1 with normal movement (already in range so only issue is dark vision range). If so and goblin 1 is alive, Hoid will shoot with his longbow and use action surge for a second shot if necessary. If normal movement does not get within sight range, Hoid will dash and then use action surge for one longbow attack.
If the goblin that is fleeing to the northeast (the camp) is still alive when Erbert’s turn comes, he moves around the bush and gets a fire bolt off after it, hitting it, but for minimal damage. “Make sure they don’t escape!” Erbert gives Bronk a thumbs up sign and smiles, calling after him in elvish saying “If there any we shouldn’t attack, let us know. We will help any that are like you Bronk…”
Fire bolt : 19 to hit, for 1 point of fire damage.

If Chadwick can see the fleeing goblin he'll close on it and shoot it. If he can't see well enough to shoot, he will chase it and use dash to get a head of it. If he can't do either he'll tie up sleeping goblin two.
Chadwick rushes to chase goblin1 and maneuvers in front of it.
Bronk moves to het in Darkvision range and fires, disadvantaged due to the Dodge (goblin can see him as well). To hit = 13, 16, Damage = 3. The goblin is wounded.
Hoid closes and just gets goblin1 in Darkvision range. He fires with his longbow, To Hit = 17, 19 and finds his mark. The goblin falls with Hoid’s arrow squarely in its back, Damage = 6.
Erbert pursues and just makes a visual on the fleeing goblin. He preparepares his spell and sees the goblin fall to Hoid’s arrow.
Two sleeping goblins remain. They will sleep another 8 rounds.

Gobin1 sees most of his patrol fall to spells and missile weapons. He uses Dodge and runs.
Trolkarl to act.
Are goblins 1 and 2 the only ones that remain upright?
Move and using dash to close on goblin1
bonus action casting condemn w dex
Go
Correct. Two asleep and two dead with the hobgoblin dead.
Gneuman to act.
Upon Kragen's turn, if Goblin1 is still active, i will cast sacred flame again. I will dash if necessary to keep GB1 within the 60' range.
If GB1 is resolved, and GB2 is active, will cast sacred flame on GB2.
If all combatants are removed from the field of battle or inactive, i move to GB3 and GB4 to bind their hands and feet to immobilize them.
Gneuman will move to attack Goblin 2 on his turn.
If that one is killed before his turn, He will dispatch one of the sleeping gobbies.
Gneuman charges goblin2 and attacks with his staff and open hand strike, hitting with both for 4 + 7 damage. Goblin2 falls.
Kragen continues pursuit of goblin1 and casts Sacred Flame. The goblin fails his save, taking 1 damage.
Chadwick is up.
