((I just keep imagining a little bird man just slowly grabbing the armor and cooing over it. Perfect lmao))
((That’s exactly what’s happening!))
((What color are your feathers?))
(( Gasp looks like you standard raven, but his feathers are really just a deep, dark blue. Like black with a blue hue if the light hits him just right ))
As the tremor hits, Hatt reaches out to steady the torch as it leans against the wall. After making sure that it's not going to fall over on its own, he walks over to the other group in time to hear Bennett's question. He takes a moment to watch as Gasp begins to put on the half-plate armour, adjusting it for size.
Bennett looks around as the mines rumble. "****... it's only been an hour or so? Are they already blowing up the cave?"
Errr... yes? No. No, I don't think so. I guess this is... something else? (Can we tell how close the goblins are from their cries? And which direction?)
Can I help you with that strap? This to Gasp, still working on his armour.
Karra picks up on the noise. "Hmph, they found something that fight back." He says."I go check what is. Listen for call." Karra crouches slightly as he follows the noise of the goblin cries.

You follow the noise, which leads you down the other path at the last diverging paths in the mine. As you head down there, you see several dead bodies of goblins, all trying to get up the path. A yellow green vapor simmering down their caves. Further ahead you spot more bodies of the goblins, stockpiling their bodies near a stone brick wall. Inside you can spot pillars of stone and a soft light. Would you like to progress forward?
With the confirmation Aurelia pockets the 10 gold for future collective use. She then does a thumbs up to Gasp, signaling that he's looking very prepared and ready for action in that new armor of his. Then she just waits in anticipation on what Karra will find as he's scouting ahead.

Upon feeling the mine tremble, Gasp Mimics Bennett right away "****!" His feathers stick up and ruffle as he looks around, expecting some sort of collapse. When it doesn't come, though, he settles back down. That one strap he's been working with for the last 10 minutes comes undone AGAIN! He makes a harsh trilling sound to vent his frustration. Finally, Hatt asks to help. "Help you with that strap?" Gasp Mimics and then gives a nod.
(Since the party's waiting for someone to don armour, which'll be five minutes for medium armour)
Karra edges closer towards the pillars and light source, being wary about the vapour. He takes a rag cloth to cover his mouth and nose with as he gets closer.
Yep, sure... okay... a little to your left... and... raise your arm just a bit... bit more... right... oh, it's snagged on a feather, just move a little to your... yes... and... there! All done. The armour seems to Hatt to be sitting snugly in place. Does it feel okay?

Gasp jostles around a bit and then gives Hatt a big feathery thumbs up! He then points to the others since they appear to be moving on.
Karra and Crispy, you both hear talking as you approach the broken down stone wall. As you all look inside, you notice it is a crypt. Only with two coffins in the center of the room and a broken statue at the far end. By the statue you see a group of people, two hobgoblins, a person in a cloak, and one in grey full armor. The two unknowns talk to each other as the hobgoblins stand guard by another entrance to the crypt. Their words echo but you both don't understand what they're saying.
Kara nods to Crispy, beckoning her to retreat with him. He will go back to the others. "Hmm, burial ground. Look like mining for it. Two hobgoblin guarding other path. Other people there, one hidden in cloak, other in grey armour. Cannot understand their words." He gives the group a moment to take all that in. "You think fight be too hard? More than what anticipate, more than just goblins."
I think we may be under prepared. That short rest period might be needed. My magic is almost tapped out. Ashley regards the tattoo on her hand that isn't shimmering as brightly as it was earlier.

Bennett nods in agreement, "Ashley is right, my magic is tapped out as well. We could DEFINITELY use her healing magic in the fight later on. We should take some time to prepare before we get all 'killy'," he chuckles. Bennett leans against the cave walls and watches what everyone does.
Hatt watches Crispy move away, and thinks about what's been said. Karra, did you mean the fight might be too hard without a rest, or too hard just in general. I guess we outnumber them, unless there are more goblins. But we don't know anything about them, or how dangerous they might be. Do you think we should go and find help? He trails off, uncertainly; there's no help to had down here, he thinks. Unless the half-orc miners want to try, and they got roughed up by just the goblins - would they be any help against these people?
"Four of them, more of us." Karra replies. "We saw how well hobgoblin fight. Think they are less strong than cloaked and armoured ones. Hmm, they seem more like bosses of hobgoblins. Should be at our best, but not like leaving them for too long."

(Man, the dice don't like me in this campaign...)
As soon as Karra announces his plan to head off, Hatt quickly steps up and casts Guidance, to help with his scouting.

“Rest. I will stand guard.” Crispy says, and begins to walk towards the passageway where they saw the enemy group.

Crispy was not intimidated or afraid.
"Maybe we should go talk to them." She says, the sarcasm deep in her voice. "I will watch them while you all rest."
(You're all at the place where you killed the hobgoblin right?)
