From what the rest of the group had asked, Aurelia felt like she had a grasp of the situation - or, at least what was expected of them. A mine of goblins is what they would face, regardless of why the goblins had decided to burrow their way in there in the first place. Overthinking something was not a habit of hers.
"Do you guys need more information? If not, I think we should get started right away."
Crispy shrugged. A life of combat and violence was second nature to her, and she needed to make some money or she was probably going to starve to death, and the last time she tried to make a living, it was as an exotic dancer. She made a killing, was able to survive a bit, but ended up with an unintentional love affair and had to break her heart. Sigh.
"Arianna. I'm sorry." She mumbles ever so softly under her breath. So THAT really wasn't an option anymore. The adventuring life was better suited for her.
Gasp rolls his eyes at the Gnome. Still, work was work, and he needed some. With one last look to the iron shackle in his wrist, Gasp moves forward. “Now’s a good a time as any” he mimicked from Aurelia and gestured to the mine entrance.
Ashley is so taken aback by Crispy possible reading her thoughts that she missed the mention of the time limit entirely. We should probably get going soon. We don't want to keep this...client...waiting long.

Hatt nods at the others' comments, and walks forward until he is standing next to Gasp. Well, let's go if we're going, he says. With that, he starts making his way past the labouring half orcs, down into the quarry and towards the entrance to the mine.
Old man Pebb shrugs, "Go ahead, follow the halfling, my boys down there know to move the boulder once adventurers show up." The old gnome starts walking away, "I'm going to go check the others, see if they've finally wake up."

"I go first."Karra offers, keeping his bow readied and an arrow knocked. "We deep gnomes good at seeing in the dark. Used to travelling tunnels, walked through many hundreds of miles before coming to surface."
Karra will lead, taking precautions to attempt to be quiet while looking out for goblin tracks (among others that may be there).
Hatt happily lets Karra take the lead, and hangs back for the others to catch up. Before entering the mine, he stops and greets the two half orcs standing guard at the entrance. Good day, sirs. We're about to head into the mine to help out with the goblins. Is there anything useful you can tell us about the mine, or about what happened when the goblins first appeared?
As Hatt strikes up a conversation with the orcs Aurelia takes position behind Karra, reaching for her sheated greataxe to be prepard once they entered the mine. If needed she'd have to light a torch, but for now the triton decided to put her trust in the gnome's superior vision to alert them of any dangers.

Gasp will fall in next to Aurelia if there is room to walk, or behind her if need be. He has his shield at the ready. Thinking that Karra has the right idea, Gasp also tries to be as quiet as possible while keeping an eye open for any threats. Goblins can be quite sneaky after all.

Crispy will hang around somewhere in the middle, making sure the ones behind are safe, sticking with the group ahead, and ready for action in any direction. She draws her blades out, and attempts to be stealth and focused.

As Gasp walks with her, she pats him gently on the shoulder, and points to her eyes, then to her feet. She makes an attempt to show him how to walk "stealthily" and "flat footed", moving her legs and feet to demonstrate.
He looks to Crispy and follows her gestures with intense curiosity. He blinks and cocks his head from one side to the other. Finally, he gives a nod, thinking he understands what she's trying to pass on to him. So, he tries to mimic her movements!
If possible, he'll try to make another attempt at being stealthy: 6
Crispy smiles broadly, excited Gasp was able to get what she was saying, and gave him an enthusiastic thumbs up when she saw the results, patting him on the shoulder. This one was a fast learner. I wonder if he could learn the hand signals I was taught when you had to be quiet but still needed to communicate?

Ashley sticks close to Crispy, staying close behind her. She sees the more experienced woman make gestures instructing the group to be quiet and will do her part in that endeavor

"Uh, mine is big." He doesn't seem too bright. "And green boys hurt friends." The other half orc comes besides him and pats his shoulder.
"Let me talk. Look, the mine is is fairly straight forward, with only a few dead ends along the way. Just follow the torches and it should bring you to the center, where most of the veins are." She looks to the other orc and asks him something in orc, bringing him to the rock, "The goblins caught a few of us by surprise, most of them just got scratched up a bit, one got knocked out."
They start to roll the boulder, a large grating sounds as they pull it out of the wood beams and set the rock aside. The entrance is wide and with a small railroad, mine cart on it with a few tools. Deeper in, you all can spot a torch onto the wall of the mine. Karra you can see a bit more, various small holes have been made along the mine's walls. Claw marks upon their walls. It looks quiet for now, the noise didn't attract any attention yet.

Besides. How bad could a mine full of goblins be?

Gasp would definitely plod around proudly at such praise, but he was too busy skulking. So he just gives his own thumbs up!
Yes.. This one is good too. Will have to ask her about her shampoo. Her hair smells nice.
