Xanth Round 1
Reaction when skeleton 1 steps up into melee with him he will swing at it.
Polearm MasterPHB, pg. 168
When you take the Attack action with only a glaive, halberd, quarterstaff, or spear, you can use a bonus action to make a melee attack with the opposite end of the weapon that uses the same ability modifier as the primary attack and has a damage die of d4 (bludgeoning). While you are wielding a glaive, halberd, pike, quarterstaff, or spear, other creatures provoke an opportunity attack from you when they enter your reach.
(I don’t think XANTH would get an opportunity attack against the first SKELETON since it was already within your reached and you had already attacked it. However, when the second one moved in behind, then you would have been able to use your feat. Nasty feat by the way.)
When the second SKELETON reaches the secret door, XANTH strikes it with his glaive.

(@Xanth - I am new too, this is just how I read the rule for the feat. And the WIS roll was for the second Skeleton. I needed to see if it had Disadvantage or not. NOT!)

Let's go Ash on them then... Round 3 - I will use Vicious Mockery (Cantrip/60ft range) on Skeleton #3 "Your fighting stance reminds me of an unfolded lawn chair" Wisdom Save - DC = 12, Damage on FAIL = 3Psychic Damage and on a failed Save it will have Disadvantage on it's next turn. Successful Save = No Effect at all.
XANTHstrikes and the SKELETON'sred glowing eyes dims and then extinguishes. As it the bones begin to fall the big barbarian gives it another poke scattering bones all over this hidden chamber.
I'll look around everyone and see how poor a state we are all in (I'm under half HP myself).
I will say "Someone should wait outside while Portia and I try to find a way to open and close the door from the inside and see if there's another secret way out of here too. We are all battered and beaten and we could do with a safe place to hole up for a rest - but if the door closes having someone on the outside to open it again would be useful in case there's no way to do it from in here."
I will offer my Assistance to Portia for Advantage on an Investigation Check.
While looking around GLYNTwill find 16 gold and 32 silver pieces scattered around the chamber. The coins were minted hundreds of years ago. The skeletons had three short swords and three short bows with a stock of arrows. One quiver has a special slot that contained a single arrow unlike the other arrows.
I will split up the Gold and Silver evenly to everyone, that's 4 gp and 8 sp each.
Realising I am woefully inadequate in regards to ranged attacks (vicious mockery isn't achieving a lot) I will also take one of the short bows and a good stock of arrows (GM_Mazra - let me know what an appropriate number of arrows to take is). I will also have a good look at the single arrow (Investigation (+5) or Arcana & History (+3) - add to roll as appropriate to this base roll 15 ) ,
I will then look to see if anyone else has a bow to ask if they would like it and/or any of the other arrows.
Portia has a crossbow so the arrows don't help her much. (though I am tracking bolts using the standard rules of recovering half of used ammo after the combat). She then turns to Glynt"Thank you for sharing that out. Most people I have worked with in the past would have pocketed the lot."
Following that, she looks further around the chamber to see if there is another exit, or an obvious purpose to it. (Investigation: 15, or 21 if Glyntis providing advantage)
Ragdor - If The Lady wills it, cast healing word on myself during my next turn, +9 hp...that is if I survive the next combat round...

Attack: 25 Damage: 10
Xanth Round 2
Attacks or steps in and attacks.
Attack: 14 Damage: 10
Off hand Attack: 16 Damage: 6
ROUND ONE continue
(I don’t think XANTH would get an opportunity attack against the first SKELETON since it was already within your reached and you had already attacked it. However, when the second one moved in behind, then you would have been able to use your feat. Nasty feat by the way.)
When the second SKELETON reaches the secret door, XANTH strikes it with his glaive.
GLYNT 20 XANTH 16 SKELETONS (One -12 Two-11 Three 0) 14 RAGDOR 5 PORTIA 4
ROUND TWO start
GLYNT viciously mocks the second skeleton.
SKELETON Two WIS 16
(@ GLYNT skeletons can be Viciously Mocked. Have you seen Army of Darkness? 😉)
XANTH then strikes the first one and it becomes a heap of bones no longer animating.
(More to come, need to make a WIS roll.)
I see thank you I am new to 5e .
Who need to make wis roll?
(Is making a WIS, like taking a whiz?....nah….I guess not.)
SKELETON Two attacks PORTIA ATT 12 DMG 5 (PORTIA will still have partial cover +2 to AC)
Seeing the first SKELETON become nothing more than a pile of bones, the third one aims and fires at the barbarian. ATT 24 DMG 5
As RAGDOR’s consciousness begins to fade, with healing and great mercy, the Lady of Life grants her Cleric healing.
The Halfling Rogue steadies herself and strikes the second SKELETON with such skill that pieces of bone flies about.
PORTIA then moves into the room and nearly finishes of the third one.
ROUND THREE
(One skeleton left with one hit point.)
(@Xanth - I am new too, this is just how I read the rule for the feat. And the WIS roll was for the second Skeleton. I needed to see if it had Disadvantage or not. NOT!)

Wisdom Save - DC = 12,

Successful Save = No Effect at all.
SKELETON Three WIS 3
(OOC - I need to be in Vegas.)
Let's see what Xanth does.
(@Glynt - I guess that is a yes.)
I think Portia may be down, if so then I move to her and cast Cure Wounds for 13 pts. (OOC) that's the last of my heals until we rest.
Portia dodges the blow with ease, though I doubt she will get another turn to attack (will roll if no one else kills them)
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)
Xanth move into the room and attacks.
Attack: 14 Damage: 6
Off hand Attack: 23 Damage: 6
"That hurt! See how you like it."
XANTH strikes and the SKELETON's red glowing eyes dims and then extinguishes. As it the bones begin to fall the big barbarian gives it another poke scattering bones all over this hidden chamber.
VICTORY!

(OOC - There are plenty of regular arrows. No need to track them. However.....)
The +1 Arrow you find, you will need to track.
(BTW - Don't give up on Vicious Mockery. If I fail the save it Disadvantage time.)
Portia has a crossbow so the arrows don't help her much. (though I am tracking bolts using the standard rules of recovering half of used ammo after the combat). She then turns to Glynt "Thank you for sharing that out. Most people I have worked with in the past would have pocketed the lot."
