Movement: Want to be between it and the entrance to the tavern. Bonus Action: Shillelagh Action: attack
[[ Wasn't planning anything too reliant on 5.0 version surprise. Though main question would be if there's other aspects of 5.5 initiative to keep in mind. IIRC there's some other interactions that affect it. ]]
The Specter immediately looking almost completely faded from existence. On her turn she lets out the most unearthly howl, piercing the minds of those around her, “For the memory of g’Ruek.” You hear her scream. She then Life Drains Draíocht
Specter Life Drain against Draíocht Attack: 18 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. Necrotic and Draíocht makes a DC 10 CON Save: 5 or his Hit Point Maximum is reduced by the same amount.
You all are up, the Specter seems to be fighting to the last. Screaming and clawing with her ghostly hands.
The axe snuffs out what little light the Specter has remaining, despite not effecting it as much as the magical staff or spell. She lets out one final scream before properly moving onto the afterlife, “The Eaters are coming!” And laughs maniacally to herself as she dissipates.
Draíocht nods in gratitude at Amiz's felling blow. "If they're coming, seems we might be wise to prepare some more."He glances out the window to see if there's any signs of creatures coming in response to the specter's shrieking.
Yes absolutely. You can put caltrops wherever you need. As for your look at the church. You do see a light shining through the windows, making its way to the front door.
Valar will look to see if he can make traps of sharpened stakes or other types of booby traps to slow any enemy with what's in the old inn. Perception: 10
Draíocht lays down some caltrops at the doorway and then uses mold earth to bring in some soil from the outside to try obscuring them. "Seems they're coming."
As Valar looks for stakes he asks, "Would some arrows possibly fit your plan? I can certainly spare the mundane ones if you've got an idea."
I’ll give you guys a few hours to formulate any more plans. In case it isn’t clear, you guys are currently in the building marked with an “I” in that map.

Unfortunately it seems like most of the useful materials have been picked clean by other scavengers. It’s all just rubbish and rotten wood in here.
So is the plan to set up a couple caltrops and wait for The Eaters to come for you?
Draíocht lays down some caltrops at the doorway and then uses mold earth to bring in some soil from the outside to try obscuring them. "Seems they're coming."
