[No check needed for the barrels. There is no time pressure and Pisgahs passive athletics is high enough that he would succeed eventually]
Pisgah cracks the barrel open by forcing the axehead in between the lid and the barrel and squeezing the nails out that way.. It contains fist-sized chunks of copper ore. There are around two dozen chunks here, glistening in the pale light. (For crafting purposes: 25 x iron ingot (2 lb. each))

Confirming that the chunks of copper count as iron ingots, not copper ingots. Looks like the crafting table doesn't have copper ingots, but just wanted to confirm before I record them.
Ok, Rico will use the pike handle, which is the best for arrow shafts, leaving the pike tip as is for use as a door stop. Also using one metal scrap for arrow heads and a second for substitute fletching (thin metal vanes or salvaged fletching from broken arrows).

Correct, treat them as iron ingots for crafting purposes. I didn't want to introduce another base material when the crafting doc doesn't provide any recipes with copper ingots. You can still narrate anything crafted from it as being made from copper if you so choose.
Pisgah can make out faint crackling sounds from within the room, as if someone is breaking small bundles of sticks. As the wooden ear horn touches the door, there is a buzzing sound and suddenly you feel a burn in your ear, as if stung by an angry bee. Pisgah takes 4 lightning damage. Where the horn touched the surface, it has started blackening. It isn't seriously damaged, but it seems to have absorbed some of the power before it traveled along to the barbarian.
The elecricity coursing through the door finds its way to Pisgah via his hand, shocking him for 10 lightning damage. But he still manages to pull it open, revealing a strange room.
The floor is plated with copper tiles, which are connected directly to the door that Pisgah just opened. A flesh golem (F) stands in the middle of the room amid destroyed tables, shards of broken glass, and rusty mining equipment. The metal-coated skull (S) of a humanoid floats around the room, giving off crackling sounds as it electrifies the floor with rays of lightning. In the southeast corner, there is a 5-foot-wide, 5-foot-high chute that leads directly down.
As soon as the golem and the skull notice Pisgah, they spring into action. The skull screeches "MORE LAB RATS! YOUR FLESH WILL SERVE NICELY! SHAME ABOUT THE BURNS THOUGH."
Initiative: 1. Nikk and Rico + Steel < YOUR TURN 2. Lightning skull 3. Jaya, Canti and Halleth 4. Golem 5. Pisgah
The copper floor is electrified. Any creature that steps onto the copper tiles or starts its turn in contact with them takes 10 (3d6) lightning damage. The source of the elecricity is the skull.
Nikkitch moves up just behind the two meatheads in front of him. He points a talon between the two, aiming straight for the skull as he mumbles a few words in the drunk wizard's voice. A Firebolt flies from his claw.
To get a clear view into the room, Rico hops up on the barrow that is to the south of Canti and the west of Jaya. Then she drops her sack of salvage and undivided loot, draws her pistol, and takes a couple of shots at the floating skull.
Nikkitchs fire bolt hits the skull, yet the metal seems to protect it somewhat against the damage [resistance]. Ricos bullets connect with two quick cracks, disjointing the jawbone on the undead creature. It shrieks in pain.
The sparking eyes turn to where Nikkitch stands.
"ANOTHER APPRENTICE? TELL HALASTER I'M NOT GOING TO BE REPLACED!"
A vertiable spectacle of lightning unfolds as the skull discharges energy. A glowing crackling beam of lightning shoots in a line through Pisgah, Nikkitch and Canti. Make a dexterity saving throw [DC 13]. You take 32 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Behind Canti, the lighning bolt also hits one of the foul smelling barrels. As it cracks and splinters, the body of a ghastly undead humanoid drops out. The electricity has left it steaming with heat and it drops limply to the floor, unmoving. After shooting the lightning, the skull moves to the southern edge of the room to get out of line of sight from Nikk and Rico.
The other foul smelling barrels start to emit howling sounds, like those of caged animals. The containers start splintering as something within tries to escape. Halleth, noticing this, starts hacking at the closest barrel, trying to pound his mace into the undead creature that is in the process of emerging. Attacks: 11, 9, he only succeeds in stalling the undead.
The electric lightning bolt discharge has prevented the skull from elecrifying the copper floor until its next turn.
Initiative: 1. Nikk and Rico + Steel 2. Lightning skull (S), damaged 3. Jaya, Canti and Halleth < YOUR TURN 4. Flesh Golem (F) 5. Pisgah ?. Barrel ghouls G1-G5, will join initiative next round
OOC: Preyfire, how do you rule on diagonal movement? I think on my turn Pisgah will be able to make it to the pallet on the floor and may even have another 5ft to step around the corner.
Canti attempts to avoid the crackling energy, but is too late (12) and screams as the lightning rips through her, causing every pain receptor in her body to fire at once. The ends of her hair smoke as she blinks and coughs, trying to avoid blacking out. The sound of Halleth bashing at one of the crates grabs her attention, and that's when she realizes that the stinking body that collapsed on the floor behind her is an indication of what is trying to break out of the other crates. She moves as quickly as her little, wobbly legs will carry her (25 feet northwest), and aims her bow at G4. She fires four times in quick succession.
Firing four times (using action surge).
Attacks: 21, 16, nat 1, nat 20 (29 total)
Damage: 7, 8, (nat 1), 9+6=15
Targets in the following order, continuing to attack them as long as they are still moving, moving on if they fall: G4, G5, G1
After firing four times, she smacks something in her armor. A small needle pierces her skin, injecting her with a small amount of healing potion, and her breathing begins to steady.
It takes all three of Cantis arrows cracking into the barrel with the ghoul (G4) until the moaning inside stops. The fourth missile clanks off the wall.
Jaya slices into the flesh golem. The thing is moving slowly at first, it's sewn together flesh starting to bulge and twist as the muscles work, barely reacting to the incoming attacks [resistance against nonmagical B/S/P damage]. It roars and swings its heavy limbs around for two swipes at the dragonborn:
Rico adds all the useful scraps to her bag.

Great idea!

(Assuming I hear nothing with a 7....)
Pisgah grins and pulls open the door.

Rico directs Steel to stand in front of her, but doesn't yet send him send him into the room. She needs to deal with the electrified floor first.

Pisgah makes his DEX save with 15.
[Dex Save: 18]
Jaya will charge into the room, seeing the skull is out of range, he will move to the flesh golem, just below it, towards the skull.
He swings his sword at the golem:
Longsword attack 1: 9 (nat 1) for 13 dmg
Longsword attack 2: 19 for 11 dmg
As a bonus action, spectral dragon wings sprout from his back allowing him to hover a few feet off the ground Flying.
OOC: Preyfire, how do you rule on diagonal movement? I think on my turn Pisgah will be able to make it to the pallet on the floor and may even have another 5ft to step around the corner.
[The DMG rule on diagonals makes a lot of sense, so let's go with that one. Meaning, every second diagonal square counts double.]
Good with me!

Pisgah and Nikk and Rico + Steel can go together, since the latter will be first in round 2 anyway.
Jaya will riposte against the Flesh Golem when he swings and misses me (his 12).
Longsword reaction: 27, dmg: 20
OOC: Does the flesh golem's hits count as a magical weapon, with regards to my Heavy Armor Master /resistance?
[Yes, the golems attacks are magical.]
Figured, thanks!
