Sly's eyes blaze with anger as the pain from the gorillas attacks shoots through her. The glare becomes blaze of fire, threatening to envelop the stony beast. [Dex Save 15; failure: 8 fire damage, success: 4 fire damage]
The wizard then scrambles away, seeking safety in the hallway beyond the room. [Action: Disengage] + Sly moves 10 feet into the hallway to the south.
The gorilla statue fails to move its bulk out of the way of the incoming spell of retaliation [DEX Save: 3], and is engulfed in the roaring flames for a split second, charring its stone and burning away the moss that had grown to cover it in its years of inactivity. Sly then retreats. Meanwhile, Xarkris strikes the Snake statue twice, sparks flying as the steel of his axe clashes with the hard, rocky form of the gargoyle.
The piranha, its magical encryption still scrambled by Mun, simply flees to behind the Gorilla, away from Mun. Finally, the caiman statue seizes a handful of berries off the nearby vine (free action object interaction), then 'consumes' them, crushing them up into a fine jam within its toothy maw (bonus action as it is using a consumable) It then dashes towards Daewen and Bilyur, its stone-still gaze locked onto the werebear as what looks near identical to the troll's poison, just slightly mealier, dribbles out from between its teeth. (Its Bite Attack now does + 1d6 poison damage on a hit)
Bilyur is up!
Initiative Bilyur: 21 Daewen: 19 Snake Statue: 18, -10 HP Grung Statue: 17, -13 HP, frightened of Mun, flanking Daewen Gorilla Statue: 16, -8 HP Mun: 13 Leopard Statue: 12, -43 HP, frightened of Mun, flanking Daewen Sly: 11 Xarkris: 10 Piranha Statue: 5, - 17 HP, frightened of Mun Caiman Statue: 1, Bite Attack now does + 1d6 poison damage on a hit
Bilyur takes one look at the caiman charging Daewen with a poison bite (forgetting that it's also charging him) and immediately goes into a flurry of attacks on the caiman, hoping to drive the monster back.
Bonus Action: Flurry of blows: 14 to hit for 6 damage, Push. DC 15 STR save or be pushed back 15 feet. 15 to hit for 7 damage, Push again.
Action: If either Push is successful, Disengage. If neither push is successful: Mutate into werebear form
Movement: if either push is successful, move to base with caiman; If neither is successful, none.
If the push is successful, he calls to Daewen: "Don't attempt to take both those things on yourself, get out of there!"
Heeding Bulyur’s wise council, Daewen charges to the right 30 feet, and while on the move, sheathes her rapier and pulls out her hand crossbow and flings two bolts at the cornered statues:
The caiman statue dodges Bilyur's first punch as it thrashes wildly, making it a tricky target. He does manage to get a punch to the chest in through its frenzy however, and whilst it does little damage, it sends the gargoyle toppling backwards and away from Daewen, Bilyur shoving the Leopard Statue aside to make chase against his quarry. Daewen then moves away from the Leopard, and fires a crossbow shot behind her at it, with the bolt forcibly being wedged into its cracks at speed furthering it towards its destruction. However, as she passes Bilyur, the Caiman Statue whips around to catch her arm with its fangs, the toxins leeching in from the small cut it creates, to which she responds with another crossbow bolt. [Opportunity Attack: Bite: 14 + 4 = 18 to hit, 1 piercing and 3 poison damage on a hit]
The Snake Statue continues its one-on-one duel with Xarkris, but both its strikes miss [14 and 11 to hit] The grung statue then retreats away from Mun to flank Bilyur, and then tries to grapple him from behind, its stony arms enclosing the gnome [Grung Athletics: 15 + 2 = 17, contested by Bilyur's Athletics or Acrobatics or he's grappled] The Gorilla Statue then simply moves as close as it can to Mun without being caught in her shadowy aura, with its intent undiscernible.
Mun is up!
Initiative Bilyur: 21 Daewen: 19 Snake Statue: 18, -10 HP Grung Statue: 17, -13 HP, frightened of Mun, flanking Bilyur Gorilla Statue: 16, -8 HP Mun: 13 Leopard Statue: 12, -47 HP, frightened of Mun Sly: 11 Xarkris: 10 Piranha Statue: 5, - 17 HP, frightened of Mun Caiman Statue: 1, -5 HP, Bite Attack now does + 1d6 poison damage on a hit, flanking Bilyur
Mun moves to be ten feet further south, just where the pupillary passage opens up into the room, and just happening to put the Gorilla and the Snake, on the far side of Xarkris, into the depths of her shadows. Shadows which now darken, and intensify further, so that in the corner of the eye lurid, actinic flashes of oily something flickers between her tattoos.
“By the hush before battle and the hush after death,I call now on oldest honor.”, her fingers trace a strange and hard to witness arcanum in the air and her spell lances toward her target, the Caiman statue.
An event in your past left an indelible mark on you, infusing you with simmering magic. As a Bonus Action, you can unleash that magic for 1 minute, during which you gain the following benefits:
The spell save DC of your Sorcerer spells increases by 1.
You have Advantage on the attack rolls of Sorcerer spells you cast.
You can use this feature twice, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a Long Rest.
The caiman statue dodges Bilyur's first punch as it thrashes wildly, making it a tricky target.
{{I believe Mun is still in line of sight of the Grung statue. Was the grapple rolled at disadvantage? Bilyur got a 15 acrobatics check.}}
[I did indeed forget to roll with disadvantage: second roll was a four, so Bilyur isn't grappled]
Bilyur shrugs off and pushes against the Grung Statue trying to restrain him as Mun sends a beam of crackling power arcing across the room towards the Caiman Statue, which convulses in a silent shriek as its form is streaked with electricity. The Leopard Statue, now relinquised from its immobilising fear of Mun, returns to its programmed purposes and dashes beneath the awning of the tattered tent to appear by Daewen's side, giving BIlyur a wide berth, intent on a potentially final act of vengence despite its debilitated form.
[For Mun's Necrotic Shroud, from what I've seen online, I think the frightened effect is only implemented when it's activated, and it's just the necrotic damage that lasts a minute. Correct me if I'm wrong or you think differently though, you're more familiar with the character than I am!]
Sly is up!
Initiative Bilyur: 21 Daewen: 19 Snake Statue: 18, -10 HP Grung Statue: 17, -13 HP, flanking Bilyur Gorilla Statue: 16, -8 HP Mun: 13 Leopard Statue: 12, -47 HP Sly: 11 Xarkris: 10 Piranha Statue: 5, - 17 HP Caiman Statue: 1, -25 HP, Bite Attack now does + 1d6 poison damage on a hit, flanking Bilyur
((I hadn’t realised, but you’re unfortunately, for me, correct! The celestial revelation is for a minute, so she looks odd and deals the 3 bonus damage for a minute. The other two options explicitly say they last for a minute, but necrotic shroud doesn’t, and I just didn’t realise. Drat! Wish I hadn’t blocked the door for no reason then, haha))
Sly moves up 5 feet, standing directly behind Daewen, in order to be able to see the Leopard that had been damaged so much. She grabs the empty air, and flings it towards the creature. Somewhere in that motion, three magical quills appear, shooting unerringly towards their target.
The wizard then retreats 15 feet north and 5 feet west so as not to block the passage.
Xarkris squares off against the Snake Statue and calls upon the powers of his station
Xarkris will cast Thunderous Smite as a BONUS ACTION.
THUNDEROUS SMITE: The first time you hit with a melee weapon attack during this spell’s duration, your weapon rings with thunder that is audible within 300 feet of you, and the attack deals an extra 2d6 thunder damage to the target. Additionally, if the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC13) or be pushed 10 feet away from you and knocked prone. I rolled 8 points for Thunder Damage
Next, Xarkris will take his 2 melee attacks with his Battle Axe.
Attack #1- I rolled a 3 (+6)= 9 TO HIT for 8 (+5)= 13 Damage
Attack #2- I rolled another 3 (+6)= 9 TO HIT a for 2 (+5)= 7 Damage (unbelievable)
Since neither attack probably hit, the Thunderous Smite remains in effect as long as I have my Concentration on it.
[Sorry it took so long to respond, back now though so should be around to get this combat sorted!]
Sly's excellently aimed quills are just enough to dispatch the Leopard Statue at Daewen's side, which crumbles into debris before it can reach its quarry. [@Preyfire, since the tunnel is small, it takes an extra foot of movement per foot to move through it, so it'd take 10 feet for Sly to move forward and then her remaining 20 feet of movement to move back 2 squares, which is what I've done on the map since it's on the way to what she wants to achieve. Let me know if you'd rather spend your movement differently!]
Xarkris then enhances his battle axe with the thunder of gods, but fails to strike the Snake, which weaves past his attacks nimbly. The Piranha Statue in the corner, no longer restricted by its fear of Mun, follows in its fallen comrades footsteps and dashes across the room, giving Bilyur a wide berth, to meet Daewen at her side. The toxin-toothed Caiman Statue then goes to clamp down on the monk's arm, aided by the Grung Statue distracting him from behind, but misses. [Bite attack with Advantage: 8 and 11 + 4 to hit = 15]
Bilyur is up!
Initiative Bilyur: 21 Daewen: 19 Snake Statue: 18, -10 HP Grung Statue: 17, -13 HP, flanking Bilyur Gorilla Statue: 16, -8 HP Mun: 13 Sly: 11 Xarkris: 10 Piranha Statue: 5, - 17 HP Caiman Statue: 1, -25 HP, Bite Attack now does + 1d6 poison damage on a hit, flanking Bilyur
{{I almost wish the Caiman had hit and given me a chance to reflect the attack onto the Grung, but nonetheless...}}
BIlyur deftly dodges the Caiman's attack, expertly swiveling to the side to watch both opponents standing near him. Never breaking stride, the gnome points a finger at the Caiman statue, summoning a magical bell to ring out. Then, as he swoops beneath another attempted strike, he goes into a flurry of actions, firing off blow after blow on the Caiman statue, but while still keeping an eye out for the Grung.
{{Turn Summary:
Action: toll the dead (Caiman statue must make a DC 15 WIS save or take 10 necrotic damage.)
Bonus Action: (This is where the fun begins) Attack 1: Critical hit for 15 bludgeoning damage. Caiman must make a DC 15 DEX save or be knocked prone. Caiman must also make a DC 15 CON save or be stunned. Attack 2: 21 to hit for 10 damage. Caiman must make a DC 15 STR save or be pushed back 15 feet. (If the Caiman is not stunned, I will try and push the Caiman towards the center of the room. If it is, I will push it towards Daewen.)
If any of these attacks by some miracle kill the Caiman statue, redirect them to the Grung.}}
Daewen shifts her weight, her eyes locked onto the Piranha Statue that now stands right next to her. Its battered form, coupled with its close proximity, makes it an ideal target. Plus, those sharp teeth look a little scary.
With a focused will, Daewen's concentration shifts. The faint, glowing mark that once clung to the Leopard Statue flickers, then reappears, clinging tightly to the stony form of the Piranha Statue. Her Hunter's Mark is now firmly marking her new quarry.
Then, with a fluid motion, Daewen draws her rapier, its blade glinting as she prepares to strike the fish-headed oddity.
Bonus Action: Move Hunter's Mark from the Leopard Statue to the Piranha Statue.
Rapier Attack #1: 19 Damage: 8 + 4 Hunters Mark force damage = 12 total damage
IF attack #1 hit- Rapier Vex Attack #2: 16 Damage: 9 + 5 Hunters Mark force damage = 14 total damage
IF attack #1 missed- Rapier Attack #2: 25 Damage: 8 + 6 Hunters Mark force damage = 14 total damage
The Caiman statue resists the magic of Bilyur's spell [DC 15 Wisdom Save: 17], but is then hit sharply across the jaw that twists its body around so rapidly it ends up on the floor [DC 15 Strength Save: 9] and lands with such force that the sickening crack when it lands completely dislodges its stony joints [DC 15 Strength Save: Nat 1], leaving it little more than an immobile statue until it can take the time to right itself. Bilyur then sends the fallen gargoyle spinning across the floor with forceful kick, the berry juice spilling out from its dazed and open maw as it is booted aside [Auto-fails Strength Save] With Daewen's hunter's mark re-allocated onto the Piranha, her swipes with her rapier are more effective against its rocky form, the Piranha now starting to show even more wear and tear than before.
The Snake Statue duelling with Xarkris then takes a sly jab at his throat with its fangs and tries to swipe its spear across his back as it recoils. The gargoyle finds a small gap between his helm and chest plate that it can sink its teeth into, leaving two small puncture wounds, and also manages to align its spear perfectly with the gaps between the armour's plates to slice across. [Bite attack to hit: 17 + 4 = 21, 7 piercing damage, Spear attack to hit: 17 + 4 = 21, 5 slashing damage] Although its serpentine face shows little emotion, Xarkis reckons he can identify a flash of glee pass over it as the statue recoils, its teeth now slick with blood.
The Grung statue, no longer flanking, tries yet again to tackle Bilyur onto the ground, seeing if it can buy time to let its comrade recover and return to help finish up the job, although for a rock-solid construct it seems to be showing hints of nervousness as such an indomitable opponent, its grip something Bilyur will likely evade or push back against with ease [Grung Statue Action: Grapple: 3 + 5 on Athletics, Bilyur needs to beat with an Athletics or Acrobatics check or be grappled] Finally, the Gorilla Statue leaps at Mun, attempting to tear at her. Its crazed swipes with its spear don't land, but it does run its teeth along her forearm as she tries to fend it off and evade the attack. [Bite attack to hit: 13 + 4 = 17, 5 piercing damage, Spear attack to hit: 8 + 4 = 12]

Mun’s Concentration CON Save: 10 - Keeps concentration on her Witch Bolt by the skin of her teeth.
Bonus Action: 2 lightning damage to the Caiman.
Action: Sorcerous Burst also at the Caiman. To hit: 18 or 19. Damage: 11 Thunder and 3 Necrotic (Advantage due to Innate Sorcery, no disadvantage due to spell sniper EDIT: I’ve just checked and Spell Sniper only helps with Gorilla Melee not Prone. But they’re also Incapacitated - when you have a condition that gives attackers advantage and disadvantage, do they cancel out?).
Move: to the center of the room risking the Gorilla’s attack of opportunity.
Second Conc CON save for if it hits: 10 again
Mun gasps as the Gorilla hits her, and her tattoos pulse dark and angry like a bruise.
Clearly, there is some degree of cooperation between the statues, and clearly, the Gorilla doesn’t want the Caiman to be targeted. She trusts in her allies to focus on their targets while she cycles through arcane spell effects to determine if these constructs have a weakness.
With a shapeless yell, she forms a loose discoherence of magic in her right hand as her left holds onto the bolt she loosed a moment earlier and she follows one after the other so that lightning then thunder strike out at the Caiman in the fashion of a natural storm, one so long denied to this unnatural dungeon.
In the flash and the noise, Mun then darts forward, seeking to escape the Gorilla’s grip.
[Checked online, the incapacitated advantage cancels out the prone disadvantage, so it's then advantage with Innate Sorcery! Both rolls would have hit regardless, but good to know for the future!]
Mun's barrage of magic on the downed Caiman Statue is just enough to shatter it into a pile of rubble, though as she moves forward the Gorilla Statue lunges forward to clamp its jaw down on her. [Opportunity Attack: Bite: 18 + 4 = 22 to hit, 7 piercing damage]

The wizard then scrambles away, seeking safety in the hallway beyond the room. [Action: Disengage] + Sly moves 10 feet into the hallway to the south.
Xarkris attacks the Snake statue with his Battle Axe. He gets 2 Attacks...
1st Attack: I rolled a 20 (+6) = 26 TO HIT. For Damage, I rolled 3+1 (+5) = 9 Damage.
2nd Attack: I rolled a 13 (+6) = 19 TO HIT for Damage, I rolled 6 (+5) = 11 Damage.
Xarkris stands ready in front of the Snake statue.

Mun’s Concentration CON Save: 10
- Keeps concentration on her Witch Bolt by the skin of her teeth.
