Eggo Lass is willing to give guidance to whoever will retrieve the elemental gem. She muses about the gems but puts the worries aside, "I believe I could carry another 10lbs or so of gems if it helps."
[How many are there in total? If time permits, Sly will literally scoop up every single one and deposit them on the floor so we can split them up.]
[Let's say a solid 500 since that's a nice round number, and previous adventurers would have taken about two-thirds of the well, so there was originally 1500 but now there's only 500 left!]
The party gets to work with gathering the gems, the small members of the party rappelling down using their ropes and pitons to gather armfuls of the emeralds, and then getting pulled back up again by Xarkris. Bilyur, on his way down, plucks out the Elemental Gem Of Air and leaves it with the rest of the pile. It's a much larger sapphire, about the size of his head, but has a wonderful glean to it. It takes a long while to shunt the gems backwards and forwards up the hole, and after about 20 minutes of it, Gruldrop, Bluey and Graelor of the Order Of The Silver Bell all finally arrive! They give you all warm greetings, and then ask if they can be of any assistance. Gruldrop muses 'That's a nice heap of scrap armour you've got there, I'd be happy to buy it off you or turn it into something more valuable if we find a forge, for a fee of course.' He grins andGraelor says 'We pulled Lisa's body through and propped it up on Leri's throne. Should give the next few adventurers a scare, and leave them mightily confused! Oh and, as for that Genie, Karistride, we asked some pretty mundane questions. Just 'Are there any traps here?' No. 'Are there any puzzles here?' No more than the one you've just done. 'Can you grant me a wish?' No (That last one was Bluey's choice.' Finally, Bluey speaks up, ignoring Graelor 'Wow! You've found so many gems! Good luck carrying them all!' He then takes a couple himself, seeing as you've got so many and assumes you won't mind.
Sly bristles a bit at Buley taking some emeralds, but since she can't carry them all alone anyway, she doesn't say anything. Instead, she packs 130 of the emeralds onto the floating disk and stuffs 20 more in her backpack, leaving 350 (minus what Bluey took) still on the ground.
She nods to the Order of the Silver bell, appreciative of their information.
Turning to her own group, she says: "It seems we have exhausted our options here. Should me move on to the next dungeon?"
Sly peers down the southern hallway going off from the room they are currently in, trying to make out where it leads.
[Bluey only took a small handful; just 2 or 3, which will barely make a dent in the total number!]
Sly looks down the southern corridor and sees that the room it leads to is just a vast expanse of flat, carved stone, entirely empty and devoid of any life or even objects. She even catches a glimpse of what appears to be a shaded doorway at the back of the room; the Shadow Weave Portal.
Gruldrop listens to what Sly has to say and speaks on the behalf of his party 'We're happy for you to go ahead first; you got here before us and cleared out the enemies so it's only fair you get the honours. We've got some bits and bobs we want to prepare before heading out ourselves so feel free to go on without us!'
[Even though you haven't entered the room, I'll give you the map update now. Not much to see, and by 'not much' I mean you can't see anything in there at all lol. Just a big and empty hall!]
Like Sly, Eggo Lass also internally Bristles inside as Bluey starts taking emeralds, even as few as they are. But she bites her lips and says nothing. "Moving to the next dungeon seems like a reasonable course of action." she replies to the tiefling.
Xarkris, overhearing the conversation between Sly and Eggo Lass, readies his shield and axe and proceeds into the next hall, relying on his PASSIVE PERCEPTION on 22 to warn him of any danger and rewards.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
[Oh this is going to be so much fun. You know how I said that there would be around 2 encounters each dungeon, 1 optional and 1 mandatory? Well the Armour was the optional encounter, so…]
Xarkris is first to enter, wearing Leri’s own armour, shield and axe prepped for combat. He scans the room and can’t see anything, anything at all. He can’t hear much either, other than the howling wind and…footsteps? Before he can do anything, he’s blasted by an invisible, rushing wind, taking him entirely by surprise. As the gale wraps around him, he can also hear the pitter-patter footfall of more approaching unseen enemies as the rest of the party enter the room shortly behind him.
Initiative has begun, the party go first. The enemies have completed their surprise round as only one was in range to attack.
Invisible Stalker: Slams Xarkris once: 16 to hit, 7 bludgeoning damage on a hit.
Xarkris rolls a 15 for INITIATIVE. He stands his ground and use the action READY. Xarkris knows that these invisible beings will have to show themselves during the attack and will prepare for a Counterattack as soon as one does.
Sly is surprised by the invisible creature. She also realizes that most of her spells would not be of use here.
Since there were some footsteps, she casts grease on the floor in front of Xarkris, in hopes that whatever lurked here would step in it. This would perhaps make them slip, but might also stick to their shoes or feet.
The tiefling otherwise stays well back, afraid of what she can't see.
Xarkris readies himself to attack in rebuttal to any of the invisible enemies that might strike, whilst Sly produces a pool of ink in front of him. However, although you are aware the Invisible Stalker is right in front of Xarkris, there is no apparent change in the air currents to suggest it has slipped over at all from the slick ink. Xarkris, with his high Perception, notices small ripples forming along the surface of the 10 foot square of ink, all in perfect circles, and therefore guesses the enemy is just floating above it, making it immune to the prone condition. However, you can use the ink as an indication of where the Invisible Stalker might be.

The invisible stalker simply dissipates and reforms like a cloud to dodge the spell; you can feel the gusts and see the ripples as it does so. One (or more, you can’t tell how many there are) of the approaching, invisible humanoids manages to dodge the beam of light as you can hear it move, but the rest have their silhouette outlined in bright, visible colours. They all look like twisted humanoids, but with long claws, which is very, very similar to the nameless adventurer some of you met in the third dungeon, who was slowly becoming a Shadow Spawn. Skulk 1 appears to be Aarakocra-like, whilst the other two (2and 3) appear closer to generic humanoids…perhaps they may have been adventurers like you once upon a time.

Salamander doesn't mind Bluey taking his share of the gems. Gems were good for looking at but not to eat, and why keep things that weren't to eat anyways? He'll take on Guldrop's offer once they have actual money to spare.
The rush of things happening next all come too quickly for his little brain to register. Seeing as the things are invisible ('GHOSTS?!?!'), he scrambles to his feet trying to adjust to this new found setting. Summoning back the hawk spirit once more, he puts his hand out to the side to let it (Fred) perch on his left arm before sending it off into the throes of battle.
((Bonus Action: Summon Spirit Totem of Hawk towards the general 30ft radius of where the monsters would be))
((Hawk Spirit. The hawk spirit is a consummate hunter, aiding you and your allies with its keen sight. [Speaking of dinosaur mounts, I'm happy to share this since it was many dungeons ago, but the Golden Steed in Dungeon 4 that Irabella was looking for was actually a Prehistoric Figure Of Ancient Power, a Pyrite Plesiosaur, that would have made water traversal so much easier seeing as it gave water breathing and a swim speed. It was hidden behind that cracked wall where all the water was flowing out, and Quippyur even spotted a glimmer of gold through the crack!]
Bilyur fully pummels Skulk 1, slaying it in a few swift hits of his quarterstaff and flurry of blows, then directs his next attacks to Skulk 2, leaving it wounded and aiming to send it flying back 15 feet [Strength Save: 8 ], before Salamander then strikes it again with his dust devil, throwing it about once more. [Strength Save: 15 ]
Skulk 2 is pushed back 15 feet, and then Salamander, now with his hawk friend Fred as a companion, sends it flying back another 10 feet further, bruised and battered from the gathered dust. The enemies then go to attack again, and Xarkris seems to be the focus of the main enemy's attacks. It seems unbothered by the presence of another air elemental, instead fixated on Xarkris alone.

When a creature makes an attack roll against a target in the spirit’s aura, you can use your reaction to grant advantage to that attack roll. In addition, you and your allies have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks while in the aura.))
"EAT DIRT!" he shouts, also sending a whirling cluster of dust and debris their way, laughing maniacally.
((Action: Cast dust devil on Skulk 2 or whoever is in the 5ft way for 12 STRENGTH SAVE or take 3 bludgeoning damage and pushed 10ft away on a failed save or half as much damage on a success))
<---- me irl slow reader, even slower writer easily jumpy thanks for being patient

When Xarkris gets a chance to act, he will position and angle himself to use his BREATH WEAPON to burn the most monsters, without hurting his partners. He rolls a 6 for damage and the monsters needs to SAVE vs DEX 11 for half damage.
End turn
It is now the enemy's turn!

Status
- Invisible Stalker (Health: Full, Condition: invisible, Position: In front of Xarkris) Multiattack: Slams Xarkris with advantage:
26 to hit, 12 bludgeoning damage on a hit.
18 to hit, 10 bludgeoning damage on a hit.
- Skulk 2 (Health: -15, Attacks against it have advantage): Runs back up to Bilyur and attacks again in rebuttal, but even if it hits all the attacks are reflected back, and he takes 7 damage.
- Skulk 3 (Health: Full, Attacks against it have advantage): Attacks Sly: 21 to hit, 5 slashing damage plus 5 necrotic damage on a hit
- Skulk 4 (Health: Full, Condition: invisible, Position: Unknown) Attacks Eggo Lass: 22 to hit, 7 slashing damage plus 2 necrotic damage on a hit,
Xarkris then lets loose his prepared burst of golden flames, hitting the Invisible Stalker along with Skulk 2 and 3 [I'm imagining that he is in the middle as first to enter, with Bilyur and Sly on his left and then with Eggo and Sal on his right]
DC 11 Dex Save to avoid 6 damage, half on success:
Invisible Stalker (Health: Full, Condition: invisible, Position: In front of Xarkris): 22
Skulk 2 (Health: Full, Attacks against it have advantage)24
Skulk 3 (Health: Full, Attacks against it have advantage) 12

[Oops, was using past status rather than updated so wrote that Skulk 2 was still full health. It definitely isn't, it's dead now lol, which means this combat might go faster than the armour encounter. However, Skulk are very easy enemies compared to the Stalker so it'll be interesting to see what happens there]
All but Skulk 3 succeed at dodging the bulk of the flames, yet Skulk 2 is still burnt to a crisp.
It is now the party's turn!
