Small plumes of steam puffed from tiny vents around the mechanoids neck as 4 fingered hands rattled around the parts and tools scattered about the work bench. Compartments opened on arms, legs and chest, becoming homes for tools of all sorts. Thieves tools, Smith. Tools, leather working tools all recieved a place. Once packed, the clockwork being walks over to what looks like a pile of scrap under a tarp. Pulling back the cover reveals a set of splint armor, a shield and a hammer. Placing each piece strategically about their body the process for integration protection is began. The puffs of steam revealing an agitated mood.
***1 thinks they are better. 6 will instruct 1 that 6 is good too. 6 will instuct that second run parts work as well as 1st run. "6 catalog parts. 6 clean the parts washer, 6 polish chassis" 6 will instuct them they can do more. 6 will find star and power their work. That will instruct them.
As soon as his armor is integrated into his shell and all his tools are stowed the mechanoid sets off for the Fluttergas.

Amethyst/Gem Dragonborn(If allowed if not, Hill Dwarf)
Wizard (Illusion or bladesinger or stars druid depending on party needs.)
Background: Sage
Description (i've one for both races in below if that makes a difference):
Dwarf: With a long, braided beard streaked with silver. His eyes twinkle with mischief, and his face is often creased with a knowing smile. He wears a deep green robe adorned with intricate runes and a cloak that seems to shimmer like embers in the firelight. His staff, carved from ancient oak and topped with a crystal that glows with an inner flame, is both a walking aid and a focus for his magic.
Dragonborn: Tall and lean, with shimmering purple crystalized scales and piercing red eyes. His attire is a blend of practicality and elegance: a cloak of deep amethyst adorned with a simple silver pendant rests over his shoulders as his white and brown travelers clothes flow slightly with a sense of elegance. His staff is carved from a rare, burnished wood, gnarls naturally at the top pulses with arcane energy. His hip holsters his trusty shortsword. He moves with the grace of a dancer, always ready to surprise with a clever quip or a dazzling display of magic.
RP Example:
A cluttered study filled with scrolls, books, and arcane trinkets. The air is thick with the scent of old parchment and herbs. Several bowls of partially eaten porridge line the floor. Zelthar is seated at a disaster of a desk, poring over an ancient tome. His eyes flicker with magic as his turns the pages with his spells, quickly sifting through.
Zelthar, glancing up with a mischievous smile "Ah, Professor Elwick! Come to see what I've been brewing today?" He nudges the chair next to him gesturing for the Professor to take a seat with a chuckle.
Professor Elwicksighing " you know well the council frowns upon your... unconventional methods."
Zelthar chuckles, waving his hand dismissively "Unconventional? Perhaps. But effective. Take this, for example."waves his staff, causing the room to momentarily fill with twinkling lights like stars. "A little trick I picked up from an ancient druidic circle. Fascinating, isn't it?. So many uses, with such little effort... certainly an improvement on the standard dancing lights that novices tend to use...perhaps a solution to light up our streets more effectively or uncover hidden foes in the deepest depths of a dungeon" he exclaims with excitement as his arms gesture wide as if pretending to be a monster.
Professor Elwick: raising an eyebrow "You were brought here to formulate powerful spells and defenses, not play with lights...And what did you trade for such knowledge?"
Zelthar: leaning back, eyes twinkling "Only a few harmless pranks and a promise to teach them the arts of my ways. They were more than delighted, I assure you. Oh by the way! I'll be lodging in the grove for the next fortnight or so, part of the agreement and all that. How could I refuse the hospitality of the archdruid?!? She's a gem truly.."
Zelthar chuckles as he makes the lights dance around the room, causing his stern colleague to stand up with a sigh, muttering under his breath "Waste.. a complete waste of funds, I swear."

Race: Goliath
Class: Barbarian
Background: Outlander
Description: Tymm is a typical Goliath in stature. His only notable difference is a set of three scars across his face that look like healed claw marks. He is not stupid like many barbarians typically are, but he is quite immature, almost child like, but fiercely loyal to his friends. His greataxe, which he as named Notch, rests easily on his back, showing the wear of frequent use.
RP: Tymm walked down the trail, a spring in his step and a whistle on his lips. He's enjoying the crisp air of this autumn day, the first chill of winter detectable on the air. He's been travelling alone for some time now, and is starting to miss being around other people. As if the gods heard his inner thoughts, he rounds the bend and seems chimney smoke in the distance. As he approaches he sees a small village, with a large building in the center, presumable an inn. He goes in and greets the innkeeper warmly. He orders an ale and downs it in one gulp, and lets out a respectable belch. The ale was cheap as it gets, tasting what he always imagined skunk piss would taste like. Perfect! He orders another and moves to an empty table and survey's the other patrons. Pretty run-of-the-mill crowd. He sees one burly customer attempting to pinch the behind of the serving girl. Based on her reaction, it was not the first time. As Tymm sips his drink, the innkeeper approaches the large drunk and orders him to leave. The patron shoves the old innkeeper to the ground, tipping over another table full of drinks in the process. Tymm slowly puts his drink down on the table. He's not angry as he approaches the offender. He's grinning from ear to ear. Yes, this is exactly what he needed...

Description: Klaes Ashford is a tall, slender human with a charismatic presence. He has dark skin, sharp features, and a cunning smile. He often wears a black top hat, a red and purple suit with a coattail. His attire exudes an aura of mystery and dark charm, fitting for his role as a practitioner of dark magic. He can usually be seen doing card tricks, or rolling coins with his knuckles.
RP: It's another quiet day at Ashford's Voodoo Emporium. As evening approaches and Klaes prepares to close shop, a noblewoman enters. He senses her privileged upbringing, a stark contrast to his own tumultuous past in Dementlieu. Yet, now a respected businessman in Glytoria, he pushes aside memories of his former life. With a friendly smile, he greets her, "Ah, how may Klaes Ashford assist you, madam?" The noblewoman appears nervous. "Um... I need a reading, Mr. Ashford." she manages to say.
"You've come to the right place, madam." Klaes assures her warmly. "Your humble Ashford can foresee anyone's future! Please, follow me to the back of the store." In the sparsely decorated rear room, a single circular table is draped in purple cloth. The noblewoman glances around. "I thought you'd have a crystal ball..."
Klaes offers his warmest smile. "No, madam. There's no such thing as a crystal ball that sees the future." From his red and purple suit, he retrieves a deck of cards. "Please, take a seat. If my reading doesn't change your life, it's free of charge." The noblewoman sits with her back to the store as he takes a seat opposite her. With ceremonial flair, Klaes Ashford shuffles the enigmatic card deck and then gently deposit the deck on the table.
"The first card pertains to your past. Let's uncover it." He draws the top card and lays it on the table. "Interesting. The Six of Glyphs." he remarks, studying it briefly before returning his gaze to her. "Not about you, so it must involve someone close, perhaps a him? In the past, this person experienced a profound spiritual conflict and enlightenment..." He looks back to her to continue, but she interrupts. "That's my husband. I know exactly what it means. Please continue with the next card." The noblewoman appears even more anxious now.
"The next card represents the present. Ah, the Three of Glyphs. I presume this refers to you. Currently, it appears you're collaborating closely with others on matters of faith or spiritual growth..." Once again, he's unable to finish his reading. "Yes! I... I recently joined a religious organization that has been guiding me." She practically jumped from her seat. "I apologize, Mr. Ashford. Please continue with the next reading."
"Ahem..." Klaes straightens his suit and black top hat. "Now, for the final card, the future." He reveals the next card and pauses. "What is it, Mr. Ashford?" "It is the Darklord. This suggests that in the future, I see the shadow of a powerful and malevolent force..." Again, she cuts him off before he can finish. "I knew it! It's my husband!" She stands to leave. "Madam, please wait. I haven't finished. Please sit down." He waits until she complies. "If you notice, the last card is upside down. Therefore, it means the opposite." He notices the noblewoman beginning to calm. "It signifies an opportunity for significant personal growth and liberation from any lingering control or manipulation. Whatever you're engaged in, it promises freedom..."

name: Richie Snare. This was a name I used a while when I's learning 3.5, as a bard, who was, in part, trained by the Fab 4: John, Ringo, Paul, and George. Richie was one of Ringo's aliases; we also share at least one other trait.
timezone: (if you know it well, if not just say a day or days that work well for you). CST. Generally, I'm available evenings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and mostly on Saturdays. However, life happens, and this can change, but I will do my best to give advanced notice to any changes.
race, class, background: I'm a (Variant) Human. However, I do have some Shade Elf. A Twilight Cleric would really lean into that. Background of a Folk Hero (more below).
pm me your characters backstory, place your characters description here: Fair skin, blue eyes, medium blue hair.
After helping rescuing some children from a trafficking ring, I have become a small time Folk Hero. However, I learned that a judge, lawyer, and some other town leaders, along with other leaders in nearby towns, were a part of such trafficking rings of children and adults. My sons were taken, and I have been implicated as a part of the rings. The common people know the truth, and spread the word to family and friends, but all are too scared to stand up to these evils.
include a sample rp of your character prepping for the journey:
Somewhere in the land of Serra, deep in a wood place, a huge bonfire roars, with it flames ripping into the heavens, is a human: Oh great Serra...the psychophants that serve the mad Serrafeem, responsible for the trafficking of people, and especially of children, have long gone unpunished.
Once, I would have brushed aside such issues, saying that 'I hope they suffer the death of 1,000 wedgies.' Now, with my sons being taken in response to my helping free stolen children, my glibness is tempered. Unlike the delirious fool who abscorns your name, I hear you, and accept your gifts of Twilight and Shade. These gifts you give your Cleric, will not only save those threads of fate who would be your devotees, to increase your power for your inexorable return, but bring to justice those who would steal your followers, for you to do with as you will.
Though I know I have much to learn, not just of myself, abilities, and such, but what you have in store for me, I will show that there is nothing to fear in the night for those who do no harm to others...but those who do, especially to innocent children, may wish the stories of the night were true."
Some think him mad, for no one hears Serra. Yet his spells as a Cleric, recently increased in power, tells him otherwise. or so he believes.
A lot of healing, and tools against the undead...I hope I don't wind up working with an Undying Warlock, as that could make things awkward.
One of the logs falls into the flames, causing a shower of sparks, and he laughs loudly and joyously. If anyone was near, they may wonder if there was a twinge of madness to the fellow, or if he really is able to communicate with Serra? For some, the former may be preferred.
i am looking for players who enjoy lots of roleplaying, but who are willing to take combat seriously. also i enjoy a good laugh and hearty humor. i dont care for skill checks and will most likely let you pass if you can roleplay well enough, but in combat i let the dice completely decide the outcome. if you roll a one i let you decide how massive your failure, but if you roll a twenty i also let you decide how great your success. this will stay open for a few weeks as i work on the story and world.
i feel like i should add more, but i cant think what, i guess ill let you guys decide that.
Sounds good. This is for regaining a spell slot, in addition to a long rest (unless we have a Warlock), right?
Are you thinking of expanding this to other features, that recharge on short/long rests, or if we think to extend it sooner? Example, Eyes of Night:
"As an action, you can magically share the darkvision of this feature with willing creatures you can see within 10 feet of you, up to a number of creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of one creature). The shared darkvision lasts for 1 hour. Once you share it, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot of any level to share it again."
So, let's say my Wis is 2. That means that I always have 300 ft of DV, and can extend it to 2 others, for an hour. Most creatures DV is 120, giving us a 180 ft advantage. This means that I, or someone near me, would need Message to really take advantage of the 180 ft advantage, or, if we decide, then I could expand a spell slot to give it to the rest of the party, if we think flanking will be a good combat option, as one choice, and use this to regain a slot.

Professor Elwick sighing " you know well the council frowns upon your... unconventional methods."

Name: Tymm Stoneknuckle (pronounced Tim)
Time Zone: USA EST (UTC/GMT -5) I can post several times a day most days

RP:
It's another quiet day at Ashford's Voodoo Emporium.
