Utar makes his plea to Bhevek, but the best sign of reluctant agreement he gets is when the halfling clicks his tongue at Raist in a "it's no use" kind of way. Bhevek then lets his attention be captured by Doozey's call. He approaches and yaps directly at Iorg: "I don't know you to be a coward Iorg, but you first run for your life and leave me stuck in a jail cell and now you are giving excuses? What is this about being a rat? What in the nine hells happened here?"
@Ori: Your card sounds a little threatening in this instance, so why don't you go ahead and give me an intimidation check? Bhevek is, perhaps without realizing it, providing you with the help action.
While Neya seems unbothered by Bhevek's loud noises, Utar settles in for some healing. (Utar recovers 19 HP.)
With Bhevek berating him and Doozey showing that he sees right though the dwarf's deception, Iorg is intimidated into an admission. He raises his hands apologetically and fumbles his speech: "Look.. I'm just trying to make an extra crown or two here, okay... a few extra gold coins on the side. Some criminal types out there wanted their companion on the fourth floor released but didn't want to pay the full ransom so.... I offered them a discount on the side. I told them 'It will be done'. I saw the opportunity when the pirate broke free... I was going to rush upstairs and release that Bell prisoner. Yeah? That's all... An opportunistic enterprise, yeah? Can't fault a dwarf for his ambitions, right?"
Despite his rough appearance and the fumbling of some word here and there, you notice that Iorg is quite well-spoken and has the ability to keep a conversation.
Bhevek begins to turn even more red than he has already turned. As his rage builds up, words escape him, giving CRAP a chance to react first.
Even as he spoke however, his eyes remain glued on the dwarf with the most disappointed of expression. "Be as may... were. you. awome. im'is?"He says slowly while reaching for his card again. Only this time when he pulls it out, he holds it back towards Raist and calls out draconic,
"Rai. Sorry t' trouble ya. But read this. Aloud. Ignore number 3."
If his request is heeded and noone else beats him to the punch, the card reads as follows:
1) Were there anyone else?
2)How many of them?
3)Did they see you?
4)What did their leader look like?
5)Are you alone in this?
6) (Number 6 hasn't been officially written down.)
After Raist finish the reading, Doozey then adds(if not tacks on), "Way I see, you 'ave, uh-"He holds up two fingers. "-choizes. You mie-"Doozey makes a slashing motion at his throat. "Or worse faye for you e'er way for betrayal here. But if you ahser chru, maybe ib beee overwoohk. Wha' say you?"
For those at DM's discretion would have the insight to translate the above: Way I see, you have two choices. You lie, You die(implied). Or worse fate for you either way for betrayal here. But if you answer true, maybe it be overlooked. What say you?

Iorg interprets: "Awome..? Alone! Yes, I was alone in this." Bhevek confirms: "He is not the kind to share spoils."
There is a pause in the conversation while Doozey makes his next questions known to Raist, possibly hoping the elf would lead the questioning from that moment forward, or at least ask the questions written in the card on the ranger's behalf.
When Doozey turns back to Iorg, the dwarf nods affirmatively, visually but wordlessly agreeing to the hunter's intimidating terms. Any look toward Bhevek would only gaze agreement from the the co-chief jailer.
Eyes turn to Raist, and possibly Neya and Utar, concerning the next questions in this impromptu questioning.
Craning his neck over Raist's shoulder, Utar examines Doozey's questions. "Nope, nothing else from me. Maybe focus on question 4, likely whoever wants Walharrow will try again since this attempt had failed. Maybe next time they won't be as subtle."
Iorg flinches at Raist's "spell-weaving" and instinctively takes one step back. If there were any traces of defiance left in the dwarven jailer, there are none now. That said, before Iorg can begin elaborating on his answer, Bhevek, his hallfing boss, turns to Neya with a confused look. He feels he needs to elaborate given the human's charged question: "What? Are you not seeing what is going on? Iorg here is clearly a traitorous, ungrateful underling trying to make some gold on the side. I have nothing to do with this side hustle of his. Hence, yes, charging you a release fee for a prisoner whose alternate release arrangement I knew nothing about sounds fair to me."He clarifies further: "And, you paid the fee and thwarted the underhanded strategy from Iorg here, so yes, the prisoner is still yours... just after we get to the bottom of this." He turns to Iorg with a menacing look.
The jig is up for Iorg. He looks defeated as he confesses further: "I... organized it. I freed Walharrow. I opened the cell belonging to the dangerous pirate and was planning to smuggle that Bell prisoner out in the ensuing chaos. I had to make sure the brothers were separated. When I saw Bhevek escort you upstairs, I ran down and subdued Ukharim. Croken..." he continues, as if you knew who Croken was,"...caught me in the act, he got a little too close. I... I... just wanted to knock him out but..."He looks away and skips some detail: "The fire was meant to create more chaos, to give me an even wider opening. As for Glassie, Walharrow made short work of him." He stops talking then, hoping his answers would now suffice.
When Utar emphasizes question #4 again, he simply hands the group a piece of parchment. It is the same wanted poster as the one the orc has already been carrying, the one for the disgraced Knight Sahnd Krulek. He hopes this also serves as an answer to Neya's demand.
-> You can see the wanted poster in the first spoiler located in this post: post#9.
Doozey scoffed, crosses his arms, and with a frown said, "Ab seep bisoum... He say were you lea' her once free? Also, Where ya pu-...."Before then suddenly stiffening as he remembered the sound of groaning. "You pu' him 'em cey? Uharim?" His last word is accompanied by him gesturing back towards one of the cells. As soon as he has confirmation from Iorg, he looks to Bhevek with a grimace and then up and over ot Raist for a quick word in draconic.
"Sorry to trouble. But Warden here might need magic in subduing prisoners and retrieve brother."
If, however, it turns out Doozey was off base, he delays further action on his part to instead sort through his cards once more for a time.
You can hear the pain in Iorg's voice. What he is confessing to hurts him and he knows that his career, if not his life, are now forfeit. Although less so than before, his eyes are still shifting a bit. That said, you are confident that this time it is due to embarrassment.
"Yes, and yes." Iorg confirms Utar's suspicions.
"And yes?" he also replies to Doozey, although his facial expression reveals that he might not have completely understood the hunter's question.
"I've had enough of it!" Bhevek breaks out in an outburst. "You locked up Ukharim? At least these folks here had the decency of pretending they did something similar to me for my own benefit. You better drop all your gear and walk into that cell over there immediately or I shall call Torm's fury upon you, you sack of rat droppings! And don't try to run or weasel your way out of this. I'm sure these folks here would have no trouble knocking you out and dragging you on the floor should it come to that. Just look at what they've done to the pirate!"
Clearly not caring whether CRAP is done talking to Iorg or not, Bhevek demands that the dwarf places himself into a jail sell and then follows his newest prisoner to lock the door behind him.
Should the group want more out of Iorg, this might be their last chance.
Utar murmurs in agreement. "He might have had accomplices but he might have friends. And he knows how you operate; guard rotations, meal times, that kind of thing. But maybe let's go fetch your brother first."
"And that is exactly why we can't let him go," Bhevek responds. "Can't have him divulging the secrets of the temple to other criminals out there, can we? That and... a lesson must be learned."
He then pushes Iorg the rest of the way into a cell, the one that was partially on fire just moments ago, and locks the door behind the dwarf. "Now, let us go get my brother."
Neya is completely unbothered by Bhevek's (allegedly) impotent rage.
