It can be a long rest if that's what you want. Strictly speaking, you didn't march all day. The sandstorm became too severe and you had to break camp. Marching through the night comes with a higher risk of terrain problems, weather problems, and a different selection of encounters and encounter risks. This time, I rolled a sandstorm. After a long rest, you'll awaken pre-dawn.
These are all just concerns and anxieties that Buckeran has. He's an optimistic fellow, but a long life has taught him to consider variables. This may be a kick-in-the-door dungeon... but it might also be a stealth mission. It may even be a run-for-your-life mission. Who knows? In a chaotic land, little is meant to be predictable.
Larva are mean, but tend to avoid dangerous threats, which they see you as a pretty dangerous threat. They are pretty close to the bottom of the demonic heirarchy. How they ended up here could be discerned with an Insight score, DC 7.
Casters will automatically know that they're mainly used as material components for magical crafting, enchantment, spells and rituals... mainly of the Evil variety.
It's 3 stories high, with spires and a vaulted ceiling,
Manors tend to have particularly high ceilings, so round up to 15' per floor, and another 15' of vaulted roof. So, about 60' at the highest peak of the roof, and 75' at the spires.
Well... that was the practice run for the new initiative style. I made it Trivial so we could iron out the wrinkles with little risk. But... uhhh... the minimum amount of fall damage exceeded their HP, so y'all didn't get to play around with it much. 😅
But, first thoughts, what did you think of the pacing?
So, there still seems to be some confusion about who has how much loot and money.
So I propose a guild treasurer. And I'm willing to take on some of that responsibility.
Kasi is basically your guild merchant. Any loot and coin you don't intend to take with you can be stored in her inventory. When you're traveling with her, she'll leave that with Orr the Unseen to attend (since they'll have a character sheet I can store the loot in soon).
While either one is at the guild, they can sell whatever loot they have in their inventory if you request it to be sold, which will be converted into guild funds, a kind of shared bank account that you can access whenever you need.
Your guild insignia will work as a "magical" way of accessing your guild funds, which you already carry on your person. Think of it as a debit card. Using that signet automatically takes from your guild fund. Any other coins you carry with you still have to be brought back to the guild the old fashioned way to store within the guild funds though. And the Guild Signet cannot be used to access stored equipment. You have to go retrieve that the old fashioned way unless you find or build a magical way to summon equipment.
Oh, well Merkas will take a nap while everyone works then…

I’m going to play through like we’re all going to get a long rest in, then.

I liked it! At least this last experience seemed pretty natural. A+!

It worked good.
All in agreement.
sorry for minimizing the encounter, just seemed a simple way to even the odds and level the playing field

Works for me. There’s quite a lot accumulated so far and I didn’t want to assume anything about it without the others agreement.

Sure. That csn work. I am just confused now how much we got.
