(If it helps and the DM is ok with it, I could make a campaign with access to DNDB maps. This would help visualize the combat but I cannot transfer DM rights to another user, so the encounter part (like current HP and so on) we cannot use without spoilers. But just as an interactive map this would be possible and no problem at all. Please, @DM, let me know if you think that would work for you. I'm also ok with the maps posted here.)
(DNDB maps are more of a VTT, needing to start a session and to invite players to the session. Then they'll be able to interact with it. But that would make it a scheduled event rather then casual play. I shall still keep an initiative tracker in a spoiler but for this format of play, the monsters will have their health below their token like so.
And for this match since it is a enemy swarm, they'll be acting cohesively as a single unit.)
Goblin Swarm Int - 13

Khazela wasted no time. As the roar of the crowd faded to a dull hum in her mind, she darted toward the elevated section to the southeast, her scimitar still at the ready. She took the stairs swiftly, keeping low, her sharp eyes flicking between the ground and the ruins around her guided by the unseen whispers of those who walked this place before (Guidance). The presence of lingering spirits brushed against her senses, subtle but insistent, nudging her gaze toward hidden places..
Her focus shifted, searching for anything of value—an odd glint in the sand, something half-buried in the rubble, anything that might resemble the artifacts they needed. As she reached the higher ground at U19, she paused for just a breath, scanning the other wall sections nearby for anything unusual, then turning her attention to the fireplace below, eyes narrowed.
The dagger, the vase, the scroll… she reminded herself. Or anything else worth taking.
She assumes a crouching position trying to be as small a possible target as she can be in her elevated position.
(Investigation (+1)/Perception (+3) - choose which applies in your opinion: plain roll 11, plus skill mod plus 1 if guidance is allowed in this situation.)

(I just want to clarify that I have used DNDB maps in PbP before and it works splendidly. It is project Sigil, the 3D VTT, that I don't see useful for PbP and more oriented to scheduled play sessions. Maps you can start directly from the campaign (with a subscription) and upload and scale your own maps, players in the campaign automatically have access. It also includes the encounter tool with which you can run the encounter, track HP and everything, introduce new combatants, use correctly sized templates for spells, measure distances, and more. I think it is very useful for tactical PbPs and will help to run games more smooth as many things commonly asked are readily visible and kept up to date with the dynamical maps that can be accessed by all. That said, I'm ok running it here with the occasional map but I would recommend to try it out someday.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Me, yay!
She finalizes putting her helmet on, stuffing her locks into the metal and slowly skulking towards the north to where she first saw the little green creatures. She hasn't seen much of these before ... but she, of course, has a very solid idea of what these things are. With a deep breath, she claps her hands and takes a breath. With the loud gong of a clocktower's mighty bell, a clockwork insignia appears briefly on the ground beneath her, casting. Despite her armor, she moves past the wall in a mere instant. Once past the wall, she shoots off a blast as quick as lightning towards a goblin, aiming for a direct hit.
Once she fires the shot, she moves back behind the wall and awaits a reaction from the creature, listening out for whatever sounds it makes ... despite wearing such a ridiculous costume, she's trying to stay sneaky. Silly, silly girl.
"I believe it's hurt."
(TLDR: She casts expeditious retreat on herself, dashing 30 feet to O7, casts eldritch blast on the leftmost goblin towards the north, then uses her movement to move back 25feet to N11.)
Perched upon the crumbling ruin, Khazela can spot three shapes in the sand.
(To search for area of interests will take a bonus action and a Perception check. 1-4 will search your current square; 5-9 will search 5 feet around you; 10-14 will search 10; 15-19 will search 15 feet; 20 will do 30 feet, Doing from on high will add an extra 5 feet to your search radius. To get the item will take an action and be in its square.)
Charlotte's spell sounds off catching the attention of both the crowd and goblins. But the goblins are more stunned as the noble lady stood a few paces away from them, her hand raised towards them. They could only let out a curious coo as the goblin is met with a bolt of eldritch energy. Then in a blink of an eye, the goblin is laid out onto the sand as the other goblin no longer saw Charlotte. The crowd gives a roar as the announcer hollers.
"And the first kill goes to Walpurga! Keep your eyes on her folks, she's out to make a name for herself!"
Connor takes a deep breath before he moves towards the north, he glances towards the still standing goblin and the dead one before a faint hint of a smile crept across his lips. He casually motions towards the living goblin with his dagger before letting out a low hum.
"It may seem like we've been out numbered but this is where you made a blunder. With beats like fire and a venomous tongue, you're about to come undone." He called out with a small shrug of his shoulders."You'll try your best but you won't succeed, now let's see who will be the one to fall and bleed~ 🎵"
{Connor moves to O- 10 then he casts Vicious Mockery on the remaining Goblin to the North. The Goblin must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or take 5 Psychic damage and have Disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.}
A pained groan comes from the goblin as it hears Connor's mockery. Not clear if the goblin actually did understand, but it was obvious it made it mad nonetheless. The goblins begin to move in, with more coming in from the gate. With a few seeing Khazela near the torch and a few others looking straight to the center. But most of them can only throw their weapons at the gladiators, with the only one in melee range being the insulted one.
Quinn ducks under the thrown steel then leaps into action. She run a diagonal path (p, 11) and stops just long enough to Mark a goblin for death (u, 11), fires off a shot then ducks over to (r, 14) to hide behind the wall.
Pew! Attack: 18 Damage: 10
