(OOC: Ok I may have over reacted. My thought was we should attack droll will he was helpless then, after droll is gone we finish groll with a big attack in his unconscious state. Thoughts?)
(OOC: Cool, then everyone should do a melee attack, with advantage and automatic critical so we can finish groll. Them while droll is the air we range attack until he is finished)
Handy pulls out his rapier and attacks groll while he is down: 18 — damage 16

(OOC: It’s true that the first instance would wake him but if we all ready an action for attack at the same time or such we should be able to attack him will he is down. We need a DM ruling here maybe. Many ways this can play out. It is possible the rest of us get the advantage for him being down but not the automatic crit.)

Aeros will look up at Droll, "whats up big guy. You supposed to be the muscle while he is the face, how does it feel to watch your friend dieing infront of you and you be powerless to stop it?"
Ooc: its a bit malicious. Didnt think aeros would be that kind of person, maybe he is channellimg a more ruthless ancestor instead of the wise ones normally there to guide him. You know speak quietly and kindly, carry big stick.
(OOC: assuming my attack on Groll was not an automatic crit, only Chenna got the auto crit, then the damage is reduced to 9 instead of 16) We also need to remember that if we don't kill him immediately he will start to regenerate. I will back up and start using my fire bolt again to prevent this.
Alright your combined strike deal lethal damage to Groll. It staggers against your attacks, and finally drop unmoving. Handy casts a fire magic to engulf Groll, hopefully prevent the Troll from possibly regenerating itself. At this point, Droll is still floating in the air, unable to grasp anything nearby for move itself. The Tanicum family is well safe in the border of the swamp. You can hear Ruggash speaking from afar:
"Handy! Let's just go! These beasts can come back to life!"
(ooc: as there seemed to be no general rule on creature weight (is there?), I googled up that adult bear (which the game recognize as large animal, oh the things you google when you play D&D lol) weighs from 300 lbs to 900 lbs. Aeros, Waft, if there's no problem with you guys I'd like to houserule that large or bigger creature from this point on has advantage on saving throw against Levitate)
Alright, if you agree to leave the Trolls and the Marsh, anyone can make another Survival check with advantage to find a hopefully more peaceful route for a large number of people.
Chenna leads the party to trek through sparse forests out of the Marshland, leaving both Trolls to their own fate. Hours passed by and the Trolls does not follow the group, and the road are getting easier to traverse. Thick trees and swamp vegatations are slowly replaced by dirt road, rollng plains, and tall pinetrees.
After few more hours, you can see Phlan's walls stand in the horizon. You can also see the separate farmhouses outside the town where The Tanicum lives and a cluster of camp where Zhentarim are basing their nearby operations just outside the city.
Ooc: im fine with the advantage thing, thats why i ask if it will work instead of assumimg it will work. 500lbs is alot, but in the context of a singular creature weighing that much its terrifying. Exp: a 300 lbs human is grosly overweight and can barely move, while a 400lbs adult bear is drastically thin or malnourished. I wont complain if a creature is too heavy for levitate to work. Im just trying to use the resources i have.
Aeros will happily follow the group. "Nice clean up handy, your words were quite INSPIRING, i felt empowered. Reminds me of this silly dwarf that was obsessed with his war drum my father told me about. Ran around making puns, but my father hated puns, he told me that every time the dwarf made a pun, his hatred grew, but he never missed an attack when the dwarf slew puns around."

Thanks to intense wounds, Groll does be put into sleep!
You can take back your action but I'm not sure with Compelled Duel, does Chenna has to fight Groll till it dies or he can sort of turn it off anytime?

.. will stick to hitting Groll really hard.
If it's an automatic crit then it's actually 26 damage total instead of 14.

As Droll is currently helpless, I'll allow you to make melee attacks at the same time for a round.
Groll or Droll?
Assuming it’s Groll, Vortrin will shocking grasp him.
Attack: 12 Damage: 8
