This time around, there is no question, no void calmly inviting a hand in, no boon at the end of the proceeding, once Nox approaches. Instead, the slow turn of the wall gives way to a large demonic idol with ruby eyes. The statue sits in a newly carved alcove, as if it were there all along. The figure opens its mouth and lets out a spray of vile acid in what would be a 20-foot cone if there was enough space for it. (Nox and Dredge need to roll a {DC 15} CON saving throw or take 17 acid damage. On a success, you'd take half of that damage. Karwin and Lot are protected from the trap by a wall forming a turn in the pathway).
(OOC @Hydra: It’s a tight space, so there isn’t a lot of room to pull someone aside. With that said, we can say you are partially covered by the wall protecting Lot, so go ahead and roll again to account for advantage).

That being said, there is something to be learned here, eh?” His hands begin to glow with a soft light as he casts Goodberry twice, handing 10 of the berries to Nox. “Eat some of these, they should help lessen the pain and help you recover.”

Edit: nvm is a saving trow not an attack nox get hit by 8 acid.

Nox going to run north an explore while they figure what those circle means. (-J49). This time i carve my name on the wall with with direction on each intersection with my Unbreakable Arrow to leave a trail.
As the group recovers from the trap and begins to walk back the way they came, Nox rushes ahead to explore further. Well-fed by the equivalent of 5-days worth of nourishment, the ranger marks the walls appropriately this time around with his magical arrow.
The northern path from the original room is a long and winding one, but eventually leads to one last swirly wall. Nox feels it trying to entice him once again.
(OOC: Unless you say otherwise, and going by earlier posts about sharing the info on the concentric circles, I’ll assume the rest of the party is heading that way).
Nox knowing now not all liquid walls are good makes a death stare remebering what last happened. After few second he sigh to himself and talk to himself quietly "ugh, only one way to find out". He then walk close to the liquid wall again.

Just as Nox steps closer, the liquidity of the wall disappears. In its place, a group of demonic faces appear to have been instantly carved. They move and laugh at the rogue and in an instant, the ground crumbles beneath his feet. The trap reaches a good 40 feet worth of pathway.
(Nox needs to roll a DEX saving throw {DC 16} or fall into a 22-foot deep hole, taking 7 bludgeoning damage. On a success, he’d take half that damage).
The rest of the group is now facing the circles. Nox needs to find a way out of the hole.

Dex save: 17 Nox take 11 damage. Nox fall on his ass. "goddamit not my day." The elf stand up dusting of the dirst of his leather armor. He then take a run toward the wall with Unbreakable Arrow in his hand. trying to climb the wall with the help of the arrow as climbing tool.
Climbing out of the hole with the help of the Unbreakable Arrow and the large stones on the wall to serve as footing is not necessarily a hard task, but it might take a little while (no need to roll).
The rest of the party begins examining the runic circles (Lot, please roll an arcana check if you'd like to look into this as others have suggested).

Can Lot use this on Nox?
