"Ah, yes! You are a Frostgleam, aren't you?" Isk says to Reverie, "I thought you had a familiar look. I fought many battles along side the strong swordwomen and stout shieldmen of the Frostgleam name."
He pulls the patch from his bag and shows it to her. It shows black wings on a field of deep crimson, with a golden, spiked halo between them. "This patch is the insignia of my unit. The wings on a red field represent the mixed celestial and mortal heritage of the Aasimar scout unit. The spiked halo is a reminder that the good guys have swords too." he says, with a proud smile.
Reverie blinks her eyes when Isk mentions about the swordswoman and shieldmen of the Forestgleam. Then a chuckle escapes. "My military instructors told me about them a lot, and yet, I couldn't become one of the swordswomen in the battlefield." Soon, her gaze shifts onto his patch, observing its symbols and heraldry, nodding a few times as if she understands his words with a smile. "Yes, now I remember this heraldry clearly. So, you do have a connection with my family. It is good to see someone who is a member of the allied army with the house of Forestgleam." A pause. "... Why are you heading towards the Nunkreets all by yourself? If you don't want to answer it, then you don't have to tell us."
She looks at Trimyrai, nodding once. "I'm glad to hear that from you. I'm also glad you have survived." Then shifting her gaze onto Froskan and Jack. "Titan?"

Isk smiles and shakes his head a little, "Why am I headed west? Truth be told, I'm not sure. I've had a very bizarre couple months and I believe the path back to my post lies to the west."
It is now the morning of the 27th of Autumn Thirdmoon, 212 ADC.
The party has a tense but restful night's sleep. (Iskander has 1 level of exhaustion total.) A few pinpoints of light can be seen in the cave ceiling, indicating that the sun is up.
Vordat walks (fish-flops?) to your group. "The guards are making sure that the way is clear, before we head out. A short distance away is a fisher family that we trade with. We have arranged for them to give you and the others a wagon ride to town. Please let the (good) authorities know what is going on out here. We will resume our opposition to the sahuagin and the merrow, but allies are always welcome.
"Please take, as a sign of goodwill between my group and yours. It will aid you in future fights in this bay, or out in the ocean."
It is a necklace of unusual design: untarnished copper and silver, embossed with fish and marine mammal designs, with pearls and vibrant seashells as ornaments.
You are welcome to continue the conversations. I'm moving the time forward, but your responses could be from last night, or a continuation in the morning, or during the upcoming wagon ride.)

"I agree," Froskan says. "And in addition to clearing out the cave and then helping rescue the others from Isk's ship, we also learned why people were disappearing."
(Still need a decision on the magic Necklace. I'll push forward, but don't let that halt the inter-party banter.)
After (someone) accepts the merfolk necklace, Vordat and the others open up the cave entrance. The dolphins once again carry the land folk. The pace is brisk, but not frantically fast. Vordat explains that the sahuagin were rampaging last night, to find the intruders who stole their prey. With the sun in the sky, the shark-men slink back to darker waters. Your group is moving to town quickly, but watching carefully for dangers.
A scouting group reports that the cavern used by the enemies has been deserted. The fog-hidden ship of devils is gone. There was a lot of blood in the main cavern, but no bodies. (In the side-cave, the smashed cages are still there, but the Rutterkin were removed.) The scouts guess that the two sides had a... disagreement... when the slaves got away.
Your group has travelled for an hour, and is on the north side of the bay. They land near a farm with a larger fishing boat. A pair of covered wagons is waiting near the water line. Your party (and two of the ex-prisoners) go in the lead wagon, while the other six ex-prisoners go in the other wagon. Vordat hands a small bag of coins to the owner of the farm, and they shake hands. Vordat waves to your party, then the merfolk and the dolphins dive back below the bay waters.
--------
The wagon travels for an hour along a dirt trail. It is now mid-morning. The wagon driver has been instructed to drop off his passengers wherever requested, but your party will have to explain things to the town guards. The two other passengers are huddled in dry blankets (as are you), but the cold waters of the bay and the late autumn chill in the air have not helped their condition. Fortunately, your group knows that the temple of Eldath (that you visited two days ago) will be able to take care of them.
Looking past the driver, the wagon is approaching a pair of guards at the edge of town, about a minute or two away. (This is the northwest corner of town. Yesterday, you left with the dwarves in the southwest corner of town.) There are a few people using this road to go in or out of the town, but the traffic is light. The guards stand up from their chairs with bored expressions, ready to ask the standard questions.
You notice that the air inside the wagon has been getting rank for a while now. It started at a "who farted?" level, but has gone past "did we run over a skunk?" to "what in the abyss died in here?" You are worried at first that one of the passengers might have been a disguised fish undead, like the Deep Scion you saw last night, but the other two passengers are looking around concerned at the odor, pale and trying to keep their breakfast down. (If you saw "Spirited Away", think of the reactions when the stink demon entered the bath house.)
The wagon has stopped, and the guard calls to the driver: "State your business." The driver turns around to prompt your party to speak up. (He also looks aghast, now that he has noticed the smell coming out of the back of the wagon)

Trimyrai: (to Isk) "As you may have heard in the earlier conversation, i'm a recent addition to this adventuring group. I met Froskan, Jack, and Reverie four days ago at the guild training grounds. I was doing a bit of training. Its the only way i'm going to reach the level of archery skill i aim to achieve. My journey has no destination so i thought it might be nice to travel with others. They all agreed it was okay for me to join them and here we are, a nice friendly adventuring group.
