OOC: Thought you all might like to know that I played an AL game at MegaCon Saturday. My character was a high elf Rogue 1 named Glynquinal Rocktosser in Aaron's memory. I even got to explain to the table that it was in his memory, which they all appreciated. It was a fun game. Since there were only two Level 1 characters, and several Level 4 characters, it was a tough campaign, and I did go down once, but was revived. Overall, Glyn performed well.
Choosing the tunnel in the northwest corner of the wave room, the party follows the narrow passage around and then find themselves in the northern part of the cavern with the large rift where they fought the bugbears and then dark elf.
OK, you can backtrack and go to one of the other numbers, or choose one of the numbers from this map you've seen before:
You're at 2. You entered this area before at 5, and you exited at 3. And I've since come to realize that each square is 10 feet, not 5, so this area is much bigger than it was the first time you were here.
The party carefully climbs down into the wide split in the cavern and then climb up the other side using the ropes that the bugbears used earlier. Moving carefully, Ian looks up the short staircase and can see that it leads to a corridor that he's pretty sure is a dead end a ways off, but it's at the edge of his darkvision. He does see another corridor heading to the left a little ways forward.
Ian once again carefully moves forward. He peers around the corner to the left and sees another corridor that ends in a dead end. Looking back to his right, he also sees that there is a secondary passage off of the corridor the party's currently in — this one going to the right. He's also pretty sure he can passages both to the right and left off of the new corridor (to the left).
Following Ian
I think we should try to wait for Rock to get some more XP so we can level up together.
Ian will push on once everyone is ready, moving quietly, stopping if he hears something up ahead.
Gruxx will follow behind Ian about 10 feet behind.

No. You entered from 1. Ian went to 3, but didn't do anything with it. It's the door that looks like the hinges are all messed up.
I would like to make sure nothing is going to come from behind before going deeper. Checking 2 maybe a good idea.
Ian, after discussing with Rock, will set off down the (2) path.

3 on the upper map is a door. 3 on the lower map is the way you went that led to where you fought the flaming skull and zombie dwarves.
Ian suggest they move towards the stairs - number 4 on the lower map - and carefully makes his way there.
Following Ian
