Velon moves as quietly as possible and, as they draw close, gets the invisibility from Perry and the stone from Cratol before leading the team into battle.
Stealthing forward, Velon readies himself to cast wall of fire once he sees their foes, ideally blocking off two or three of them from being able to see the party behind the opaque wall and also from going around and entering the fray. He'll face the flames towards the trapped giants, ideally even trapping them against a wall to burn.
(Will roll initiative on Dai's call and have a question about stealth for chat.)

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
The group slips in close to the malformed giants. Perry casts the first spell, causing a fascinating pattern to appear. Two of the giants stop moving to stare at it.
The other three Fomorians grab weapons as they turn to look, only to become enveloped in a series of spells. The area lights up with flame as a wall of fire surrounds the trio. Then the flames turn green as a sickening radiant light settles over the area. And then the entire area goes dark as the giants, the radiance, and the fire alike disappear behind a series of Darkness spells.
A moment later, one of the Fomorians comes stumbling out, slapping fires off of his clothing. Enraged, the creature fixates Velon with the larger of the two eyes, and then there is a tangible pulse.
Velon must make a DC 17 Charisma save. On a pass he takes half of 35 damage. On a fail, he takes the full amount, the formorian has advantage on its next attack vs Velon, AND Velon's body suddenly deforms, causing his speed to be cut in half and disadvantage on str/dex based attacks, save, and ability checks. The deformation can be removed on a successful save made after the next rest, or with a remove curse spell.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sustaining the Radiance and hoping at least a few of these giants are affected by it, Lawrance hits the advancing Formorian with a traditional Firebolt, saving his more powerful magics, in case of trouble.

Perry materializes three purple translucent swords in the air and fires them towards one of the non-incapacitated giants. He then sings a song to bolster and inspire his allies in this battle.
They fell in to a burning Wall of Fire They went down, down, down And the flames went higher And it burns, burns, burns That Wall of Fire, that Wall of Fire
Velon, Lia, Poljen, Morgaine, Cratol, and Lawrance all get 11 temporary HP, advantage on their next saving throw, and can use their reaction to move up their full speed without provoking Attacks.
Velon calls out the order for everyone to attack the lone giant that has emerged from the fire wall thus far. He then aims a fireball at at least the two giants within the radiance and firewall, if not all three on that side of the battle depending on distance and the chance to hurt his allies.
Fireball: 37
*Empowered Spell reroll of 7 damage from the above fireball: 13*
Cratol jumps into action as he closes with the Giant. He will spend a Ki point to get four attacks in on the giant. He hopes that along with the others this one will fall quickly to their assault.
Attack rolls: 20, 4, 1, 9 all have a +7 to them as he uses his family staff. so that is 27, 11, miss and 16
Damage rolls: 2, 2, 3, 4 Well the 3 is a miss so the others have the +7 damage from the staff so 9, 9, miss, 11
Mari moves up with the others to attack the giant Velon indicated. The hilt of the frost brand feels cool in her hand. As she nears the giant heat from the fireballs hits her. The frost brand grows even colder in hand and she no longer feels the heat. Positioning herself opposite another party member her twin blades dart out rapidly.
Lia shrugs as she sees the giants coming. After all that she has been through this seems to be a practice session. She casually clasps her amulet and gestures her other hand towards the giant. A gleaming bolt leaves her hand directly towards the creature. The air sizzles as it passes.
Mari attacks are with advantage due to flanking. Sneak attack applies due to that. She used her bonus action fir offhand attack. Lia cast guiding bolt at level 2.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Morgaine seeing Polgen and the others attacking the Giants. She pulls out her Scimitar and upon hearing Velon indicate to attack the Giant, she goes after it with gusto.
OoC: was adding the Scimitar to my Beyond sheet, could not locate the one with electric damage so went with a normal one. There is one with flame attached which is similar in the list as far as attack and damage stats go.
Morgaine leads the charge as she, Cratol, Poljen, and Mari encircle the giant, slashing, stabbing, and kicking at its bent legs. Lia and Lawrence join in, striking at the thing with fire and lightning. From somewhere, a large number of small crossbow bolts fly out, several of them sinking into the giant's face and upper torso, though he ignores them like so many toothpicks.
Velon flings a fireball into the darkness, he can hear it detonate, though there's still nothing to see.
A few moments later, and both of the remaining formorians manage to find their way out of the darkness inducing spells. They fix their eyes on two of those nearest to them Mari and Poljen, and more pulses occur.
The giant you've already been dealing with swings his massive club, striking Poljen twice, hard.
DC 16 charisma save for Poljen and Mari, at advantage for Pol thanks to Perry, failure means taking on the frightened condition. If frightened, subjects takes 2d12 psychic damage each turn, but can repeat the save at the end of each turn.
41 damage to Poljen from club attacks. 20 after his resistance.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Velon strides forward to stay close to melee range and surveys his troops, making sure everyone is doing ok. He then focuses on the two trolls that just came out of the wall of fire and calls upon his draconic sorcery to summon another massive fireball.
Identifying that two of the Formorians are still suffering from the effects of his Radiance, Lawrance sustains that bit of magic, sending a trio of fiery javelins against the two newcomers.
Scorching Ray Attack:(left target) 20 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.,17 Damage: 10, (right target)26 Damage: 10

Perry unsheathes his mysterious black scimitar but something peculiar happens. Instead of a sword appearing from the sheathe there instead appears to be a black trumpet in the bard's hand. He plays a some notes to match the earlier song he sang, then continues,
