Nox stops to investigate the room beyond the landing with the help of his hawk. Vigilance is patient enough to wait for the tabaxi, but Bone and Talon decide to do some peeking of their own. What they see is yet another circular room, this one larger than the two previous ones. An extension of the landing cuts the room in half, like a bridge, while another one of these bridges helps decide the room into quarters. Where these bridges meet, in the center of the room, a large, think chain coated in an oily green liquid passes through the ceiling and the floor, appearing to be moving upwards in bursts.
Five feet below your current level, each of the quarters also has a square-shaped stone platform with smaller but still thick chains on the farthest away corner of each square also passing through the ceiling and the floor. Five feet below these platforms, a bottom level can be found, filling the rest of each quarter. Each of the four auxiliary chains is being pushed downward by muscular yet deformed giant creatures. These chains are coated in a heavier blackish/brownish oil, and each pull of the chain spill some of the oil in its immediate surroundings with a hiss.
Before the hawk can get a better view of the rest of this chamber, it is targeted by one of the giant creatures:
-> Hawk CHA saving throw {DC 17}: 14 - The familiar takes 64psychic damage, disappearing into an arcane puff.
ROLLING FOR INITIATIVE (Nox's mount does not get its own initiatve):
NOX Nox forcefull get back his senses although he doesn't share the dead hawk pain the horrible screech echooing the room felt it died worth of multiple generations hawk lifes.
Nox move to BO70 and animate objects 10 gold coins (tiny size) He then commands them to split in half and command them to surround (30 fly movement) and attack the 2 nearest giants. (it hover on the same initial (10) height if it still can hit the giants) The tabaxi then move back to BO72.
Seeing the hawk seemingly disintigrate upon entering the room, Dredge stays back at the doorway. With a quick, “I’m sorry, my friend”, he drops concentration of Locate Creature and instead summons another swirling cloud on energy with Call Lightning, bringing it down on the giant being focused by Talon.
Nox moves forward and releases a handful of lively coins into the air (please deduct 10gp from your wallet.) before retreating a bit. Taking a life of their own, the coins split into two groups and slam themselves against the nearest giants. Three of the coins sink into the northeastern giant's skin, with the other two bouncing harmlessly off its skin (Deformed Giant#2 - CMD: 21). Only one coin manages to draw blood from the southeastern giant, but a rapidly flying griffon pecks at the giant to add insult to injury (Deformed Giant#1 - CMD: 13).
(@Palfatreos: The griffon does not fit in the position you named, as those squares are basically the wall. I'm placing the griffon at {BX66, BW67} instead. Also, safe to say that Nox is no longer mounted on the griffon, correct?)
Talon follows the griffon without noticing the 10-foot drop in front of him.
-> Talon's acrobatics check {DC 10}: 22 - the nimble dwarf manages to correct his fall just in time, landing awkwardly but otherwise harmlessly on the ground.
The sorcerer then aims three arcane blasts at the giant standing at the platform 5 feet above after cursing it. One of the blasts is ill-aimed, but the other two sizzle against the creature's skin (Deformed Giant#1 - CMD: 39).
Aiming at not giving the southeastern giant a break, Dredge calls forth another storm.
-> Deformed Giant#1's DEX saving throw {DC 16}: 21 - a small strand of lightning brushes against one of the creature's back deformities (Deformed Giant#1 - CMD: 49).
Leaving his companions to deal with their target, Grixx rushes into the room and eyes the northeastern giant. While running, the barbarian lets a javelin fly, puncturing the giant's forearm (Deformed Giant#2 - CMD: 28)
(@Grx: Grixx has 40 feet worth of movement, so can only reach {BM65} without dashing. Also, you have a second attack this turn, so you can launch another javelin if you'd like.)
A second javelin flies towards the same target, but misses (reference).
Bone will stay where he is at and will fire his arrows at the most damaged giant, casting Hunter's Mark on it as well (using last level 1 spell slot).
Since the giants have not gone in initiative yet, Bone get's advantage (which means Sneak Attack, also I'm assuming it is only the first attack that get's advantage, I will put the last two rolls in a spoiler below.
These shots will be made with Sharpshooter:
Attack: 18 Damage: 24
Attack: 12 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Stalker's Flurry: Attack: 13 Damage: 27
Sneak Attack: 4
Bonus Action: Casted Hunter's Mark on the most damaged giant.
Here are the rolls just in case the last attack and the stalker's flurry are made at advantage:
(@lerus That fine by me i am not actually planning to use it as a mount just a beefed up familiar, it doesn't even have a saddle unless that mandatory. reduced the 10 GP from the animate)
(@Superbad: Assassinate gives you advantage on all attacks before the bad guys have a go. Stalker's Flurry does not trigger for your two regular attacks as they both hit. I'll roll your Dread Ambusher attack below. If it misses, then I'd take your Stalker's Flurry roll above into consideration.)
Bone marks his prey, following the lead of most of his companions. In an instant, the two arrows he lets fly hit his mark on the shoulder, visibly damaging an artery (Deformed Giant#1 - CMD: 97).
The giants then spring into action, letting go of their respective chains. As they move, you can see that each of them is also chained to the chains they are tasked with pulling, limiting how far they can move away from their station. Each of the giants unravels a large club from their backs to get ready for the fight.
The southeastern giant (Deformed Giant#1) swings his club twice, aiming both blows at the annoying Griffon flapping its wings on his face. The northeastern giant (Deformed Giant#2) does the same against Grixx, but makes good use of its extra long reach.
-> Greatclub (melee weapon attack with extra reach) vs Griffon: Attack: 17 Damage: 45 bludgeoning.
-> Greatclub (melee weapon attack with extra reach) vs Griffon: Attack: 22 Damage: 35 bludgeoning.
-> Greatclub (melee weapon attack with extra reach) vs Grixx: Attack: 19 Damage: 32 bludgeoning.
-> Greatclub (melee weapon attack with extra reach) vs Grixx: Attack: 14Damage: 41 bludgeoning.
Another bird puffs into arcane smoke, while Grixx receives quite a significant blow.
Bone sees an opportunity to let loose another arrow:
-> Dread Ambusher with Sharpshooter and Assassinate: Attack: 21 Damage: 24 piercing.
The southeastern giant gets another arrow to the shoulder, as the kenku aims to pile up the damage to that part of the giants body (Deformed Giant#1 - CMD: 121).
The northwestern (Deformed Giant#3) and southwestern (Deformed Giant#4) giants go as far as their chains will allow them and begin to climb up towards the thicker center chain. They both open their left eye lids wider than you'd think would be physically possible, their eyeballs almost popping out of the socket. They stare at the closest threat, although one of them has his eye glowing especially red with hate:
-> Grixx's CHA saving throw {DC 17} vs. Curse of the Evil Eye: 10 - Grixx takes 54 psychic damage and his shoulders and back begin to bubble outward as his muscles become deformed like the giants' (Grixx now has disadvantage on every STR and DEX ability checks, saving throws, and attacks. His speed is also halved to 20 feet.)
-> Grixx's CHA saving throw {DC 17} vs. Evil Eye: 10 - Grixx takes another 56 psychic damage.
(I believe this is enough to force a Relentless Rage CON saving throw {DC 10}: 17 - Grixx drops to 1HP instead. Never mind, Grixx is not raging, which means Rage Beyond Death does not trigger either. Grixx is unconscious. DEATH saving throws it is...)
At the sight of the giants Vigilance started breathing hard, and stomping her hoof. Something deep in the blood threatening her to leap at the closest one and tear into it with her lance. "Karwin. See to Grixx. The rest of you! Focus fire on the one, then move on. But avoid damaging their chains!"Her 'request' given, Vigilance storms her way onto the battle field, ending up at BO69.
As she shouts out a Bless in Sylvan, an almost visible golden aura surrounds her to ward off the evil of the room whever the rays touched(10ft of her).

Action: Vigilance Casts (5h level)Bless upon Grixx, Karwin, Bone, Nox, Dredge, Talon, and herself.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Note: I'm retroactively rolling a few hit dice on Karwin's behalf as she also benefited from a short rest up in the arcane altar.)
Karwin's hit dice:
Second Wind just before initiating the short rest: 15;
Seven cleric hit dice: 51;
Song of Rest's die (from Nox): 6;
Three fighter hit dice: 18.
All of this puts Karwin back at (111/128 HP)
Vigilance steps forward and shares her deity's blessing with the entire party (OOC: and yes, Bless affects DEATH saving throws too).
Karwin (autopilot) steps as close to Grixx as she can (he is quite faster than the tortle). While moving, she both performs a medical analysis from a distance (at disadvantage) to try to understand what is afflicting the barbarian's body and heal him with some weak but effective restorative words.
-> Medicine check {DC 10}: 18 - Karwin understands the zealot is cursed, and that specific spells or a ritual will be needed to address it. Perhaps a period of long repose could also do the trick, but this alternative is uncertain. She ponders on whether she has the capability of administering such treatment mid-battle. She then informs the rest of the party: "A simple but persistent curse, it seems."
-> Healing Word (1st level): 5 - Grixx is not longer unconscious, but remains prone. He is also still affected by the Evil Eye Curse.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Witnessing both his bird summons vanish in instant and the godlike human go down just like that the tabaxi don't want to get in melee fight with the giants he takes step back to BO73.
BA: Nox command the shiny coins to keep surrounding and attacking the nearest giant. (all bludgeoining damage)
Action: Aim at giant1 head and launch 3 Eldritch blast at it. (all force damage) (Rolling the bless buff seperatly so the macro dice doesn't use the bless roll as crit)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Talon realizes a little to late that he stepped off an edge. He continues to try to protect his companions. After blasting and pushing the giant at BU,66 his beautiful hammer appears and attacks as well. Each blast that connects will send the giant back 10 feet or into a wall if that is what is behind him.

Nox's coins continue their assault. Two of them manage to hit the southeastern giant (Deformed Giant#1 - CMD: 132), while another three draw blood from the northeastern one (Deformed Giant#2 - CMD: 47). (@Superbad: Nox's coins technically count as creatures which are fighting alongside you, so Sneak Attack should trigger. I'm rolling that extra damage for you here: 4 piercing. Also, don't forget the Bless for your attack rolls.)
Bone also continues his assault, with another two arrows hitting their mark. That shoulder is beginning to look quite bloody (Deformed Giant#1 - CMD: 205).
Talon follows up with some patron-sponsored blasts of his own, hitting the injured giant twice (Deformed Giant#1 - CMD: 248). The dwarf's ethereal, floating weapon is called upon once again, and it too bruises the foe in question (Deformed Giant#1 - CMD: 263).
The giant is forced backwards and out of the platform is was standing on (It is just a 5-foot drop; it won't take fall damage but it might just fall prone).
-> Deformed Giant#1's acrobatics check {DC 8}: 17 - the giant lands awkwardly, twisting his ankle and falling on his back (He is now at {BZ62, BY63, BX64}).
Dredge calls down another bolt of lightning on the first giant.
