Vali and Thurodurk destroy the competition! The fires go out , the pillars are lowered, the Simulacrums are melted, and the kid flies down. Wow! That was a slaughter! Nice job!They both gain 50 gold and a level, along with 1 spell scroll of a level they could cast (if they were spellcasters. For example, you are level 2, so you would be able to take a level 2 scroll) or a single piece of equipment from chapter 5 of the PHB.

Every 5 rounds, a monster will attempt to swallow the opponent. Dex save negates swallow, strength (athletics) gets you out of the jaws. You will slowly run out of air, so remember to get out quickly! Goal:3, 3 flags. There are 3 flags. Catch them all to win. They will slowly pop up every once in a while.

"Eh, not the world's easiest enemy," Lanour thought as the dragonkin shouted from nearby. "I'll make do." He draws a scroll and allows the magic inside it to infuse him with glowing power. Lanour grows to about the size of a larger than average human. So this is what it feels like.
Lanour takes out his crossbow and short sword and faces his opponent from L9.
Tanrick acts quickly, (spends 2 sorcery points to quicken Ice Knife) a lattice of ice forming in his hand, the icicle shooting towards Lanour. (Attack: 10 Damage: 3 DC 12 dex save or 6 cold damage) "Loser buys first round at the tavern?" Tanrick suggests as he follows his spell up with a shot from his bow before moving to J1 (Attack: 20 Damage: 11)
Tanrick, with a burst of speed and power, sends a blast of ice at Lanour. It misses, but the blast comes out. (DC12 save or 9 damage). He follows up with a blast of arrow, and surges into the air.
(I’m assuming it’s not possible to get into melee range.)
Thurodurk will chuck another javelin.
Attack: 10 Damage: 8
