The druid at the far end of the fermentation room finishes pouring the contents of the vial into the vat and shouts something unpleasant in a language the party does not understand. She runs to the far end of the balcony and disappears from view.
Make a Perception check. On a 15 or higher, read this:
You hear rustling from inside the easternmost (nearest) fermentation vat. There is something moving in there, and it does not sound like there's any liquid at all.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Perception: 16
Barnaby looks at the Druid disappearing in the distance. He heaves a bit of a sigh, and turning to face the failed barrier in the doorway, Well, we can't be getting attacked from in front and behind, he aims a ray of frost, so as to not set the web/winery on fire, at the closest living blight.
To hit (with advantage because it's restrained): 18, 16 for 3 damage if it hits. Also, if it is hit, it is slowed by 10'/round.
They advance slowly, in the loading dock. One gets close enough to swing a twiggy claw at Chubs, but misses!
Kif realizes, too late, that there is a crack in the vat nearest him. And there are blights hiding inside! Three come out, and two of them get close enough to swing. One of them hits, dealing 4 damage!
But you did the spiritual weapon attack already. That's just a bonus action! If you want to walk over to a blight and swing with your own melee weapon, I'll let that to hit roll ride.

I have been asked by the DM to run Chubs until further notice, as our brother is busy adulting and stuff.
Chubs declares I'll guard our rear! as he steps back into the loading dock and takes a downward stroke with his short sword followed by an upward thrust of his knee at the nearest blight.
Short sword attacks at 12+3 to hit for 10 damage.
Knee attacks at 15+1 to hit for 7 damage.
"Take that little stick monster!"
Edit: Shezam! That's a max damage crit followed by a knee. That thing is double dead. :)
Those of you in the room with the vats see, out of the corner of your eye, the druid on the balcony approach the steps down into the center of the room. She has not yet descended, though.
Barnaby and Kif, you're up!
Kif, you see that there are many more Blights, rushing to come out of that vat.
Boom! That one is destroyed by a magic floating hammer.

And you destroy it!
You realize they go down pretty easily. The danger is their numbers, not their individual power.

Back to the top. Lucento and Chubs are up.
Perception: 18
Lucento summons the golden mace back toward him and sends it in the direction of the blights beside Kif (whichever is closest): 22 (to hit) 6 (dmg)
Another one down! And the cool thing about that is, it was just a bonus action!
Go ahead and take your turn. Spiritual weapon is practically cheating, it's so damn good.
Sorry for the delay, thought my turn was up! Hmm, kind of boxed in. . .
Lucento whips the golden mace in the direction of the adjacent blight: 20 (to hit) 10 (damage).
It's ok, we're still waiting for Chubs.
But you did the spiritual weapon attack already. That's just a bonus action! If you want to walk over to a blight and swing with your own melee weapon, I'll let that to hit roll ride.
Damage: 4
Save some for the rest of us
Oh, there are plenty. :)
I sent a reminder to Dov. Hopefully he'll be by shortly to take a turn with Chubs.

There is nothing left of it but splinters!

KIf is going to take a swing at the blight next to me
16 plus 1 attack for 10 damage
If that gets twig dude out of my way I would like to try and move to the bottom of the stairs
Yup! You crushed it. You move. The blights inside the vat are not able to get any disengagement strikes against you.
