(Will wait a little longer for Krakkan to post before continuing with combat)
Mandaway: The snake flies across towards you, licks your finger and deciding that you are no threat, flies back. The woman lowers her crossbow, "I'm just a traveling monk. What did I do to deserve this? First the giants, now the goblins. Does fate want me dead." She isn't talking at you, more just talking knowing you can hear.
(Krakkan initiative: 20) On his first turn, Krakkan will hear the noise and go look but won't take any further action (yet)
The goblin will draw it's scimitar and swipe at Hawk: Attack: 17 Damage: 3,
Mandaway:
The woman looks at you "Kella Darkhope, travelling monk. I don't think I angered a god though it is entirely possible. I am sure every act probably angers at least one of them. As for the giants, I am afraid I can't help there. I never saw them. I was in my room and then a rock came through the roof from high up and the debris knocked me out. I don't know how long I was out for but when I came to there was no one around. I went to make an escape and then that is when these goblins arrived and I was trapped. Now you are here."
In case it wasn't clear, Bert would see the goblin slash with the scimitar and definitely interpret it as hostile and the attack in the previous post would definitely proceed.
Also can he hear Mandaway and the woman talking in the next room?
"You okay Hawk? This is me not making a cat joke," Bert calls, waving from the second floor with his bow, grinning from ear to ear.
Bert finishes searching the remains of the room and hen heads over to find out what Mandaway is saying (assuming he is talking to himself, or a snail).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Not the strongest person in the world though he sees Hawk attempting to pick up or drag the goblin in and hes right there so he will attempt to assist him.

"Sorry I'm quite weak, It's not often I exert muscle beyond my brain."
Relived that Hawk is ok and that he was successfully able to subdue the goblin, Zook steps over to help the other two carry/drag the unconscious creature back inside the inn.
“That was quite a move, Hawk! Leaping from the second story. I’ll have to remember that one, although for me it would be twice the distance. 😂 Oh, and if that water doesn’t quench your thirst, I found something a little stronger that might. That is, if you think a nice smoky flavored dwarven whisky would suit you.”
With enough people, you manage to take the goblin inside. Kella will remain in what is left of her room.
Bert: Inside room 1, you see that most of the furnishings in the room were destroyed when a rock flattened the northwest corner of the inn. Hanging on the east wall is a tapestry depicting a mountain landscape, and tucked under the window in the southeast corner is a locked wooden chest. The floor seems sturdy enough to walk on.
Both other bedrooms look not occupied. The bedrooms contain two beds, an empty wardrobe, a desk, and a matching chair. An oil lamp sits on one corner of the desk, and another rests on a small table tucked between the two beds. A bearskin rug lies on the floor.
Bert was about to begin picking the lock of the chest when he hears a giant bear behind him, and he makes the noise Lando Calrissian makes when the Sarlacc grabs onto his leg in Return of the Jedi. He's very alarmed but looks up and once he sees what's there, begins breathing heavily as the cleric continues mking bear noises (passive WIS insight is 13, perception is 15).
Bert, you finish searching the room and leave to find Mandaway. As you are walking towards the room that the voices were coming from, you see a bear coming out of a side room. You go to shout out and you then notice that it is slightly strange shaped, and you see under the front paws, Mandaway's hands.
(I went off passive insight so you only just were spotted)
You determine that it is not trapped, for picking the lock can you do a separate roll. (In general, each different activity gets its own roll. If there is an option between things (like unsure if I am after investigation or perception) then you give options for modifiers however if you are doing two separate things you do two separate rolls)

Mandaway shook his head, " I don't think Fate works that way. Now gods....you didn't anger a god by any chance?"
" What sort of giants, by the way?"
" Oh....rude of me, I'm Mandaway Gurumul, Occasional Priest of Eldath and disappointing sawman."

They aren't talking loud enough for you to make out words but you hear a noise. And the goblin is unconscious but not dead, (yet)

Hawk sits on the rubble (living on 1 HP), takes out his water-skin and takes a sip. He gives Bert a big smile, and says:
This didn't quite go as planned, but it all worked out in the end!
He then gets up, ties up the Goblin's hands and feet, then tries to drag the Goblin inside the inn (Strength: 1)...
... to no avail.

" Aye, we're here."
" I should probably go make sure that scream wasn't any of my friends dying."
" Do you wanna come with, I'm sure they've cleaned up the little angry fellas by now."

Mandaway came out and decided to check the other rooms on his way back downstairs, ( 2 and 3).

Mandaway draped the bearskin over himself and crept down towards the room he had seen Bert go into, doing his best bear impression.
Bear impression: Nature Check- 14

Ha sorry!
For picking the lock on the chest and checking to see if it's trapped, 3 plus 5 for investigation and plus 6 for sleight of hand.
