As soon Bosco has sensed Strahd has moved from the directly space above it, the hound takes off up the stairs and down the hall, its tie to the vampire unwavering for at least the next four or so minutes. A far less compelled Belzo, on the other hand, looks about the immediate crypt area in frustration. "Not sure whether to call him a cowardly bastard, or a wise undead. Either which way, if he's able to run like that throughout the entirety of the castle, he'll bleed us of power long before perishing himself!" He huffs and spits off to the side. "I do not suppose any of you have experience razing a castle?" Belzo goes on to ask, completing at least his immediate once over of the tomb room proper to start making his way back into the statues room(K-84).
Hopefully not long after or before anyone else...
Unless he either sees or hears where the hound eventually runs off to, Belzo starts towards K-86.

Hadrian will help the others search their immediate surroundings for clues. “If he can simply outrun us and vanish into walls at a whim, it doesn’t suit us to keep chasing him. Maybe there is something here we can use against him.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(@SF: Depends on whichever 'direction' it senses Strahd. Aside from rolling its bite attack for simplicity's sake, Belzo doesn't really control where it goes or what it does; which is solely seek and destroy using the most direct route possible. If it has sensed Strahd's location has 'moved' in at least the direction of the stairs K18, it runs up them to get closer to its target.)
(And unfortunately, since it is a monstrosity(typing), ain't no communing with it.)
At the start of its turn, the hound automatically knows its target’s location. If the target was hidden, it is no longer hidden from the hound.
.... On its turn, it can move only toward its target by the most direct route, and it can use its action only to attack its target.
"It is worth a shot!" Belzo says/call back if he caught Hadrian's words, for short of being told or held physically back, the sorcerer kept on the move, form continuing to flicker across planes for a few moments more. After at least taking a few moments to investigate the immediate area around the portcullis, including the nearby alcoves for good measure in the search, only failure in finding a lever to pull leads to a desperate maneuver.
If nothing is found, Belzo motions for any nearby fellows. "There is no Belzo, only Balkmaar." He intones as he fishes out a cocoon. Everything from flesh to clothing to even the items he held all become indistinct as they blacken to the tone of pitch just before losing all cohesion and splattering on the ground. But as pool of darkness grows, from out of its surface a [monster[Huge Giant Crab;great pincer form[/monster] pulls itself out, forcing aside columns and alcoves alike in its wake just to try and pull the portcullis down.
Belzo, your shadow hound follows you to where you are. Your investigation check allows you to see a lever at the bottom of the stairs on the other side of the portcullis that is not moved by your Athletics check.

"I got this!" Fae says with a grin, vanishing in a puff of silver mist (Fey Step) and reappearing on the other side of the portcullis. She goes to pull the lever (provided nothing attacks her).

Fae, as you pull the lever, three women, all bearing the signs of being turned, rush to attack you. Strahd stands a good distance behind them, watching them attack you.
(On a hit, the target cannot gain hp until the start of my next turn, and undead targets have disadvantage on attack rolls against me until the end of my next turn)
Hadrian then re-casts Kelemvor's sword, sending it arcing towards Strahd with a battle cry.
Attack: 27 Damage: 11 force, and on a hit I'll use my second Channel Divinity to deal +23 necrotic damage. And as a reminder, my necrotic damage ignores resistance.
