Krom will also join the celebrations in Phandalin before saying goodbye to his friends "The story of the Fellowship of the White Cloaks does not finish here my friends, let's meet from time to time here in our house in Phandalin. Every 6 tendays from now, let's meet here to catch up and consider our future quests!"
Krom walks near Rekuberk and Rhogar "I will inform my clan via Sending that you will require some magical assistance once in Neverwinter. Speak with my elder sister, she should be able to help you or at least point you in the right direction."
Kazri heads back to Phandalin, plans in her head to help build the town up. Her contacts with Linene Greywind each morning reveal that the people are settling back in well now that a general sense of peace has settled over the village. With at least some of the adventurers seeming to have settled into the area, and the paladin Kazri watching over them the people are optimistic of the future and over the next 6 mos the village grows bigger.
The townmaster, she finds when she finally meets Linene face to face, has all but been removed from his position. His cowardice and lack of leadership during the Time of the Dragon, as it is now called, has been noted and Harbin Wester still rarely leaves his home. Linene is willing to serve as townmaster and with the backing of Kazri and any of the other members of the fellowship that may give a good word before they leave town she is quickly accepted and replaces Wester. Wester barely puts up a fight in the election and his campaign slogan of "Its not fair" hardly inspires anyone.
Kazri seems to refuse any true named leadership position in town, but her generosity and willingness to lend a hand endears her to the people. With Linene's backing she forms a militia and spends much of her time training the recruits. She finds a few capable women and men to help lead and the start of the Phandalin Militia is off to a good start.
Reconstruction of damaged buildings is underway, trade is picking up and new families are moving to the town. Economic growth is under way.
Linene is obviously concerned about the Firebeard dwarves taking up residence in Axeholm. Not that they are there, but since they have entered the market for the sale of weapons and armor her employer out of Triboar may have something to say. But for now things go well as the Lionshield Coster is a well established business and the Firebeards will need to build there business up to make competition. But the offer to help equip the new militia is accepted. Linene sends her resignation to the Lionshields in Triboar and eventually a replacement is sent to manage to shop. With the town growth over the next 6 months business fairs well for both the Lionshields and the Firebeards.
Speaking of the Firebeards, about 14 days after Krom has sent his sending, 10 dwarves from Neverwinter march into town. They head to Axeholm and help Krom in completing repairs. They spend much money in Phandalin in buying supplies so no one grumbles at all.
As for Kazri's other companions, Chill is seen leaving Axeholm and headed to Neverwinter with Rekuburk and Rhogar. He returns several weeks later but not much about him has changed. He still fingers the small cat's head he always seems to have and is rarely seen without the white cloak the companions of the Fellowship all seem to have. The cloaks have become a common sight with Kazri in town. His ability to blend into the background and go around unnoticed has become uncanny and the people are glad that he is not a kleptomaniac as they are sure he could rob the entire town blind without effort.
Krom is only seen occasionally during this time, he is known to be hard at work at the forges of Axeholm.
Word is that Chip, who played a few nights at the Stonehill Inn has left for Waterdeep but has promised to return and regale the town with the ballad of the Fellowship of the White Cloaks and the demise of Cryovain the White which he will work on while he is gone.
Rekuburk and Rhogar also headed to Neverwinter with Chill. 4 weeks later Rekuburk returned to Phandalin. He checks in with his friends that are still in town and also visits Axeholm. He lets them know he found a wizard who knew his parents and was able to send them a sending. They will be headed to Icespire when they are able. He speaks of his time spent carousing in his city. He had done very well and was living high but due to some bad mead one night he lost his way and regained consciousness in a dark alley with no memory of how he had gotten there. He also found that he had been robbed. He still had a bit heavier purse than he left with but city life just wasn't for him. He then spent much of his time taking care of Icespire and doing some hunting in the area. The first couple of times he flew over the village riding the griffon Kazri had to muster the militia to defend the town. But after those false alarms seeing him ride the griffon was something the village children would stare at the sky for hours hoping to see. His white cloak streaming behind him as he soared on the back of a mighty griffon was a sight to be seen!
Rhogar had big plans and spent weeks researching arcana for his own purposes. He spent money a little too fast and got into some trouble with his finances. He would then head to the pit fighting rings where his bulk and dragon countenance made him a foe many wanted a chance to take on. But Vixix watched over him and he did very well which helped him out immensely. He too returned to Phandalin several weeks after leaving. He headed to Umbrage Hill each day and studied under the tutelage of Adabra Gwynn who, during the whole Time of the Dragon, had never stopped living in the old stone windmill she resided in. But it wasn't fear like the old townmaster that kept her there. She kept busy with her herbalism and brought healing to those in Axeholm during their stay their. She was tough and Rhogar found her a tough teacher but he learned quickly and impressed her by completing his studies earlier than she had expected him to.
Eventually Sister Garaele and Kazri were able to meet. She accepted the offer to improve the Shrine of Tymora but made it clear that she didn't want some big gaudy thing. It needed some work, but nothing more than that. Save her money to help the people is what Sister Garaele was interested in.
The last of the Fellowship to return to town is Chip. He tells of trying to find an instructor to improve his ax skills but he was unable to do so. He then caroused and performed, honing his skills and writing the ballad he promised. He is happier than before as he impressed his bard college and they see no longer see him as some sort of failure, but a competent bard of some skill. His renown is spreading and he easily can find work performing wherever he goes.
Chip also has a fine new Lute to play during his performances. Due to his gained stature in the bard college, prior to his leaving, they presented him with a Doss Lute in recognition of his efforts.
Chill returns to town and spends a bit of time visiting Axeholm and Icespire. But he mainly just hangs around Phandalin. Occasionally you can hear him trying out the lute that Rhogar gave him as a gift.
"This is splendid my friend!" He tells Rhogar. "I'll never be a master like Chip but it sure is fun to play. I need Chip to give me lessons."
Chip would return the the group looking... shinier... and a bit more confident as he makes his way into phandalin. The large brass scaled dragonborn would walk with a total of three lutes hanging across his back. The first thing Chip does upon returning to town is head to the tavern looking for Krom. Chip had been thinking about this new sword for a while and upon receiving his new sword, Chips eyes light up. "Thank you friend! This instrument is amazing! I cannot thank you enough" He would say as he plays a few notes on the handle before sliding it into his sheath. Chip would no more than put away his weapon before turning and meeting Rhogar standing with a gift. When the new and improved dragonscale cloak is given to him, he would give his fellow dragonborn a firm pat on the shoulder. "This is amazing!" He would say with a large smile before quickly swishing it behind him and putting it on. "I cannot thank you both enough." He would add with a grin. "How about a few drinks on me!" He would say with a smile as he sits down and pulls out his sword and feels his cloak as he inspects them closley.
"I am glad that you like it", replies the dwarf to his dragonborn friend, "our friend Rhogar also gave me this!" Krom shows to the bard a tankard of dwarven design, emblazoned on two sides of it in gold is the face of a grinning Krom. "Look at this! Firebeard Ale!" Krom says looking at the empty tankard. The tankard fills itself with a gold like ale with a clean white foam. The face of a grinning Krom transforms into a smiling Krom. "See this is the best use of magic my friend!" The dwarf will give a firm pat on Rhogar's shoulder.
"I have recently returned to Phandalin from Axeholm. You should visit the fortress now Chip, with the help of a few members of my clan and the dwarves that lived here, Axeholm is slowly returning to its former glory. The forges are fully operational now. We have managed to equip with some proper weapons and armor the newly formed militia of Phandalin. Our lass Kazri is doing a great job here." says Krom finishing his drink. He looks again at the tankard and says "Firebeard Ale!", the tankard fills itself once more.
Krom is wearing a new armor of dwarven design with various runes of protection and strength. The holy symbol of Moradin, an anvil and an hammer, is etched in the breast plate of the armor. If some members of the group askes about it Krom will say "I put at good use all the metal we found in our last trip. It is still far from being a perfect Dwarven Plate, but for now it will do."
Once his parents arrive, Rekuberk tells them of the group's accomplishment. Soon though he is rather stumped as his father begins to list off things they could do to make the place even better. The wizard claims rooms to be made into a library and laboratory.
By the end of the first few days, the half orc appears in the sky on his Griffin over Phandalin. He spends a few days, catching up with anyone that was around.
Whenever Rhogar returns to Phandalin with gifts for the others, the Bronze is.... almost the exact opposite of Chip. Despite the possibility of being able to rely on the Firebeards in Neverwinter, the Dragonborn either made use of this connection sparingly, or very selectively during his stay. His scales had lost some of their luster, the faux chain shirt and robes he wore had been replaced by a threadbare tunic, pants, and feet wrappings, and the general air and posture was more bent towards the humble. And while a still a giant compared to most of the party following the transformation months ago, much weight had been clearly lost, leaving some of the clothing to hang loosely off his frame or belted extra tight.
Nevertheless, the cloak had been meticulously kept, and the staff he carried around appeared to have more intricate draconic runes carved into its surface that faintly glowed in any shadow. "Do not sell yourself so short, my friend. Devote yourself to the art and mastery will be within your grasp. Just give it time."He replied to Chill, replacing the half-joking air before with a slightly more serious one. "And in truth... Bah... I am glad it has met your approval." Is added.
When it later came to Chip and Krom, or perhaps soon after, he smiled seeing the thankful looks on their face, and nodded faintly in acceptance of the offer from Chip. Fortunately for Krom as well, he had took a seat by then, making it far easier for the dwarf to pat his shoulder. "Mn. It is certainly one of its better uses. And perhaps someday, it will be come its main use, if all ever find true peace."He replied with in turn, before looking around for the afformentioned guardian(Kazri).
Seeing Rekuberk instead, he promptly waved the half-orc over. "You are just in time, my friend. For you, a small token of my appreciation that should be about as hardy as you."Rhogar couldn't help but chuckle at that as he presented the tome. "Though primarily enchanted with the intent of protecting precious spells, I figure -- unless of course you express an interest in the air -- it might suit you just as well for when you must put pen to paper."He holds it a bit higher, assuming Rekuberk hadn't taken it.

After meeting with Sister Garaele, Kazri looks like she is in a state of daze. As she walked around town, she greeted the townsfolk that she passed. She spotted Rhogar, and walked towards him. When she was in front of the Dragonborn, she was slightly surprised that she had to look up now, in order to speak with her friend. “Welcome back Mr. Nimbatuul. I have heard that you are looking for me. How may I be of service?” Even though Kazri was speaking and looking at her friend, one could tell that her mind was not quite there. She was processing something in her mind.

Rhogar, while not the most insightful of beings by any stretch, did do somewhat of a double take as Kazri states fully registered in mind. It also helped that Ghorar, who had at some point taken to staring wistfully at the drinks being brought to the table, had looked up in time to see and send a vague mental warning. In any case, he smiled softly, and without asking or answering, the Bronze would try to wrap her up in something of a bear hug.
If she is as armored as usual, it hardly seems to bother him to embrace it. "No service, Ms. Kazri. None at all. In fact, I had hoped to show you the results of my request of you the last month." He admits. "Though it can wait a few more moments. So please, tell me what is troubling you? News of another dragon? And did things not go smoothly in this town's leadership change?"

"Ohhh..." Kazri is surprised by the Dragonborn's hug, but slowly, she returns it, and hugs him back. "It is good to see you as well Mr. Nimbatuul." She awkwardly waits for a moment then clears her throat. "Yes, town is in good hands now. Thank you for your concern." Says Kazri but her head is still lost in thoughts, then she processes the keyword. "Trouble... Trouble? Yes... It is North!! Far North!!!" Then it's as if her mind stops racing, and she looks Rhogar straight in the eyes. "I am terribly sorry Mr. Nimbatuul, I may have to ask you to head back to Neverwinter again. Actually, perhaps the Fellowship may need to go to Neverwinter. Soon..." She pats the Dragonborn on his shoulders. "Please, Mr. Nimbatuul. I must ask you that you request that all of our friends to meet me at our house. I will be there as soon as I am able."
Kazri runs to the Townmaster's Hall, and speaks with Linene for a little while, then she returns to the Fellowship's house. Kazri paces in the common room until everyone has been gathered. "Gentlemen. I am terribly sorry to interrupt your evening, and I shall go straight to the point. I just had a meeting with Sister Garaele, and she informed me that there is very concerning trouble north of here, far north. She does not have much information, but it is important that someone look into the matter. She sounded very urgent, and she has already arranged passage on a ship that leaves Neverwinter in a ten day. She highly recommended, if all members are willing, that the Fellowship of the White Cloak go as one, for she believes that this might not be a one person mission." Kazri looks around the room to see everyone's expression. "Thus, I would like to ask everyone... If you would be willing to travel to the farthest part of the north..."

Rekuberk raises an eye as he is presented with the book, nodding as he takes it, carefully putting it on his pack as he allows his Griffin to return to its statue form. He puts that in a small pouch that resembles a a coin pouch, covering behind the folds of the cloak that showed he belonged to their group. To go with the cloak he had changed his clothes although they were once more a fine set like he had worn when they first started their campaign to defeat the dragon.
"I thank you for the gift. Unfortunately I do not have my own to give other then an offer of a hospitality at my keep. I have spent much of my time there since returning from Neverwinter."
As Kazri finishes to speak, Krom stands up and walks near her "If you need help, lass, this dwarf will accompany you to the far north. Axeholm is in capable hands now, hitting something beside metals and anvils will do me good." The dwarf looks at the rest of the Fellowship and says "What do you think guys? I think that travelling north to face some mysterious evil is something worth our attention."
"I'm in. This town's getting a bit boring. I'm getting itchy fingers and need a challenge. Drinking Krom's private stores without him knowing just isn't as hard as I had hoped it would be. There's nothing I need to wrap up here. I could go at anytime. "
Chill says as he stretches his feet out in front of himself as he sits by the fire.
"Well it sounds like you'll make an excellent guide then Rek!" Chip would say as he holds up a tankard of ale. "Sounds like the way to Neverwinter should be fresh in your mind" He would add with a grin. "With all of this hospitality being thrown around, I do hope you all will allow me to cover the costs of room and board on our little journey we have ahead of us." He would say with a smile. "I am ready to go at once. I have never been to Neverwinter. Judging by the name, I am thankful to still have the ring we acquired during our first journey." before holding up his seemingly polished brass scaled hand to show off the ring before taking another deep drink from his mug. Chip was feeling much more confident than before he left on his pilgrimage back to Waterdeep, and his appearance is much much more impressive. Sitting at the table, Chip is wearing very fine black and white colored clothes like that of an important noble. His scales appear to have been polished and buffed to an almost mirror-like extent. When walking near the lights that illuminate the tavern, his scales work almost like a discoball of sorts as the glamorous bard sparkels as he moves.
"I really did not pay much attention to the way. I was taken along for the purpose of looking scary so bandits would not mess with us. A half orc with a flaming Greatsword stop a griffin seems to work quite well for that task." Rekuberk says with a laugh as he moves to open the new spell book, flipping through the blank pages.

Says Kazri but her head is still lost in thoughts, then she processes the keyword. "Trouble... Trouble?

"Science is organized knowledge. Wisdom is organized life."
"So it was you!" Krom rushes towards the tabaxi and suddenly starts laughing "Well played my friend, well played."
