How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
As Badger moves around the room with the moon ceiling, examining the drawings, he spots a blacksmith crafting a key. When he looks closely he sees ridges around the outline of the key. He pushes on it firmly and it grinds inwards. There's a loud click from behind the secret door and a firm push makes it push inwards. Behind it he sees a dust choked dark passage that leads away and turns left. The group wanders down the passage carefully, looking for traps and at the left turn it stops at a door blocked with three heavy wooden bars. Lifting them away, you're able to pull the door open and find yourself at the entrance hallway.
The path now clear the group moves each of the eight torches from the cube room into the hallway. They remain lit. The cube room is now shrouded in darkness. Nothing else apparently changes.

The second skeleton approaches the cube and it’s boney hands reach down to grab it. It pries it loose from the multiple stone hands touching it and steps back from the pedestal with the prize in its hand.
The group counts. You are now up to 8 of 9 cubes. Only 1 left.
You depart the Shrine of Obo'Laka, notices several of the koala like creatures crouched in the tops of trees nearby watching as you move past. They don't seem to make any moves towards you though and soon enough you're back in the ruins of the city to resume your search.
You turn north, creeping through the ruins before arriving at the ground of the royal palace. Thousands of bats swirl above this great ruin. Behind a 15-foot-high circular wall that surrounds the large area, you see crumbling arcades, vine-choked statues, empty plazas, and buildings over-grown with banyan roots. Streets that aren't flooded are choked with rubble. Snakes slither amongst the rubble while the screeching racket from above fills the air. A distant roar from the king of Omu barely overcomes the sound.
As you move into the palace ground you quickly spot two monoliths. They are adorned with prancing, frog-like figures rise from the swamp. Beyond, a ruined edifice shaped like an arrowhead squats in the muddy water. Bushes and trees grow from its roof. At the pointed front ofthe building, steps ascend to a stone door caked in slime. From here you spot several green Gruungs crouched on the roof of the place, holding bows and positioned like look outs. You also see motion in the main courtyard of the shrine, though you're too distant yet to see.

Mal slips forward through the jungle ruins, creeping from shadow to shadow.

With ease Mal gets near the outer wall which has numerous crumbles sections. Her feet silently move through the turpid water, reaching just under her knees with all manner of lizards, snakes, and fish moving about within. The swampy area here smells tepid and the usual thick warm air of the jungle makes drips of sweat trickle down the back of her neck. Staying hidden amongst some vines, she peers through a crack in the wall. She's counted one red Gruung on the rooftop, along with perhaps half a dozen green ones that move around keeping their eyes alert for danger. In the main courtyard, five bright orange Gruung's laze about chittering to each other in their strange language.
A dinosaur walks about the grounds as well, a two legged creature with small arms and a round bone capped skull. A hadrosaurus. You know these creatures to be herbivores, but also easily trained and somewhat territorial.
"I am going to go with my general idea from these jungles, it will try to kill us and eat us, hopefully in that order," Silas comments

The Gruung are small, frog like creatures. The group has indeed fought them before, many weeks ago in the jungle. They have poison skin and poison tipped arrows. Their colors represent their rank. Grenk has encountered them in the jungle as well. They are generally hostile, and though relatively weak, in numbers they can be a challenge. A bit like orcs.
They also match the shrine, which is that of NangNang, a Gruung.
I think the orange ones are spellcasters and the red ones can make a noise that charms you or something (It's a shame we can't cast Deafness on ourselves). The greens were vanilla chumps. We could try suggest sneaking in, perhaps with Invisibility. I have no other ideas here other than a full-on assault.

"I vote we attack. Thus far, at each ambush we have been successful. I'd also choose haste. I suspect that the Kobolds from earlier will be telling their real boss and then returning in numbers," Grenk says. He takes a moment and checks the tension on his bow and looks back towards the Gruungs.
"Well I can try and sneak up on the dinosaur and take it out at the same time someone takes out the 5 orange ones in the middle with spells and ranged attacks. Then we can focus on the red ones and leave the smaller ones for last." Mal suggests.
Here's a map of the shrine and area to help. The bigger blue circle is the dino. The others are Gruungs. Ignore the crocodiles, there are none at this time. Ignore the "0 ft" markers. The water is 1.5 feet deep, except on the north side of the shrine where it deepens to over 5 feet deep. Squares are 5 ft.
After noting the locations of the creatures on the ground, Mal suggests, "OK a revised plan here, I will attack form the east and use my Bead of Force on the dinosaur and I should be able to trap the orange Gruugs as well, then maybe the dinosaur will be so pissed off he might do our work for us. Then all we have to do is target the red one and then mop up the green ones. Does this work for everyone or do you have a better suggestion?"
Badger rubs his nose and replies: Sounds good. Maybe our big unit here can cover you from range. And maybe Sickle, Silas and I should attack from the south. I can make us invisible, or perhaps Sickle can use his powers to conceal our approach.

"I can hit them at range. I can even make one loose some of their natural defense against posion. Though that only affects me with the yuan-ti posion arrows. Beyond that I can just pincushion them." Grenk reaponds.
Sickle nods. “I can hide us on the approach. Taking care of the archers on the roof could be useful as well. I seem to recall their arrows being tipped with something nasty, so watch out for that. Any way for us to get up there?” Will prep Pass Without Trace, and also make a Giant Spider made of ice to support Mal or help out on the roof.

OK, progress! (hopefully)
Once the torches from the cube room are in the hallway brackets, Badger will send the second skeleton to lift the cube...

"So this the last shrine for the cubes? Hoping so cause that all seems terrible and I'd only want to deal with it once." Grenk comments.
Mal whispers to the group, "Well this should be interesting, want me to venture ahead and see what is going on?"
