(Her pupils are a little dilated, but otherwise she’s no worse for wear than the rest of you.)
She stands there curiously as the tortle gets way up close, but finally bats him away. “You’re like the turtle I never had, Deshi, but ya gotta back off, eh? I’m fine. I just know things I didn’t used to know. And believe me, weird as that is, it’s actually proving pretty useful right now, and it’s just one of a whole world of weird we got up in our craw.” She gestured widely at the underground world.

Roland chuckles. "Hah! A couple mintues down here and the girl is going crazy! So we don't have enough rope? We'll walk then!" Roland starts walking down the path Ormond pointed to earlier.
Deshi peers at Penny's face (Investigation? 21), looking for any sign of injury.
Depending on what he sees, he (probably) says, "We have endured a great deal of trauma in a short time. Shall we pause here for a few moments?"
Deshi obviously notices various cuts and bruises, as well as some possible signs of a concussion. However, he also notices that Penny’s countenance briefly changed. Her posture, expression, overall feel in general felt different for a brief moment.

Penny whistles as she sees the valley. "Now that is what I call a landscape feature," she says as she pulls paper and charcoal out of her pack. She begins sketching, mapping the cliffs and the rest of it. A handy cartographer tool shows up, letting her estimate distance and such. She marks the "map" she has made.
"It would seem, given the valley and these cliffs, that a face such as this might have some natural fissures, where water would travel into the valley during rains. There may be an easier way down. Some sort of natural chimney or crack in the wall."
She looks for one such way.
Here is a straight up roll: 19 For cartography, add +4 (int bonus plus proficiency bonus for tool use) For straight perception, add +6
Penny... does notice something. Nestled between an easily overlooked point, there does seem to be a point were you could shimmy down a natural crack in the cliffs. It is about 500 feet down and about a half an hour hike from this position, but you would still need to wedge yourself down the rest of the 1500 feet. Meanwhile, you all hear a faint rumble.

Penny looks up, questing for the source, too. "If it's another earthquake, and they plan to keep coming, I'm not so sure about the cliff descent. If it's rain... does it rain here?" She looks up at the stone sky. "But if it's a critter of the sort that makes those tracks, I'm for shimmying down this crevice as fast as possible."
She makes her way towards the natural crack she discovered, ready to drop down into it if danger pokes its head up.

"I was about to suggest a short rest, but I don't like the sound of that rumble," Ormond says.
"Perhaps we should find a more sheltered location?"
Ormond spins around to face his perceived source of the rumble, straining his senses to catch wind of the source, or perceive a second instance.
There is a low, mooing, bellow. Behind you all, in the distance, another of those long-necked creatures raises its head, followed by others behind it. They seem to be moving toward you at a swift pace. However, they are still a distance away.

Ormond points out the longnecks to the group, "They don't normally run like that - something is causing them to stampede... and if they're running away from something, we shouldn't let it catch up to us."
Following Roland's lead, Ormond continues, "Let's get going."
Roland hesitates and looks back at the long necked dinos. "Aren't they faster than us? With those long necks they must have freakishly long legs too. I just imagine giraffes."

Penny pokes her head up. “Nig damn me! You idiots! This way!” she shouts. “Someone push the tortle along!” Then she starts trying to navigate the crevice to make room for them above her.
With that, your group gets moving quickly, you have a bit to decide on whether to advance down the hole, or continue down the trail. However, you see that while the stampede of these long-necked dinosaurs is drawing nearer, you are likely not close enough to be in danger from it. Meanwhile, bird calls echo through the forest below you and to your side. You’ll need to decide which path to take, or perhaps come up with some clever solution that The World has not realized yet.

Ormond suggests to Deshthi, "Perhaps you should let your bird fly above us so it can warn us of any possible trouble sneaking up on us."
Ormond, too, keeps a watchful eye out for possible signs of trouble... including evidence of big animals, particularly predators, moving through the area.
// Perception Check 24
// Regarding the chimney climb. How about a contested roll to see if y'all can convince him to shimmy down, ignoring his better judgment? An appropriate skill check from Penny and anyone helping her, against a Wisdom check from Ormond of 16
Penny, once arriving at the hole half a mile away, examines it critically. "I think everyone will fit." She looks at Ormond in his heavy armor, Roland in his hippo form, and Deshi in their shell, and says, "You all should go first, I'll bring up the rear, so one of you slipping a little bit doesn't outright kill me."
As Ormond balks, she'll give him a light push (not enough to actually push him), and say, "C'mon big man, show the lady you've got the stones!" She's not very charismatic, as evidenced by that sentence, and will gladly accept someone's Help in this endeavor.
Persuasion (-1, but with Adv for Help?): 15
Edit: Welp, Penny's out. Anybody else, who didn't Help? Maybe Roland can throw him down the hole?
