OOC: If/when combat commences, Akai will use the Fire Bolt cantrip as his default attack. He'll prioritize enemies that are engaged in melee combat with his allies in order to make the most of Kobold Pack Tactics. If a creature shows resistance to fire damage, he will switch to Chill Touch instead. He'll also move around to stay out of range of melee combat.
Irma OOC: If/when combat occurs Irma will draw out his hammer move in front of Gregor ready to meet the enemy's charge. He will engage enemies that move to melee combat first, prioritizing those that attack him first. Irma will attempt to draw the majority of the attention on him.
For sneaking/deception: Irma will attempt to persuade them that he is a prisoner of Gregor, he will strive to maintain the deception longer. His shield and hammer will be sheathed on his back and he will have his hands hidden behind his back giving the impression it is bound.
Ian quickly bends down and wipes some of the grime and sewage off of his feet and legs and proceeds to wipe it on his face, in his hair, and on his shirt. He then composes himself with a hunched-over, defeated composure and forlorned countenance. Ian then places his hands behind his back, mocking constraints, and stumbles through the doorway with his head down. He sneaks a look up to take in the room and the situation.
Ian, witnessing the room, says in an impassioned and fearful voice, "Please! Spare us!"
OOC: Ian's previous OOC comment still holds in terms of attack order/approach.

The half-orc’s suspicious glower grows deeper as each member of the party steps into the room, Ian shouldering his way to the front, Gregor and Ian skulking behind him with Akai between them, and Falshen hanging back in the shadow of the door.
Grum’shar turns toward the kenku-Gregor, his mouth half open as he begins to form a question, when one of the goblins shrieks “Weapons, boss, weapons!”
At that moment, Gregor’s disguise falls from him.
The half-orc roars “It’s a Zhent trick! Fall on ‘em! Kill ‘em!”
The two goblins move in, scimitars upraised. The half-orc extends his hands and begins to mutter an arcane incantation.
In that moment the robed, tentacle-faced personage calmly rises, gathers its four-footed brain-thing into its arms, and glides toward a door in the back of the room, apparently considering this turn of events beneath either its efforts, its notice, or both.
Ian plans on attacking Goblin A with dissonant whispers if that goblin attacks him.
If Goblin A does not attack Ian, Ian will move to safety behind Irma, drawing his rapier and positioning himself to maximize Irma's guard to give him perhaps an attack of opportunity. Ian will then cast Dissonant Whispers on Grum'shar.
Ian will use Healing Word (after an attack) on any team member that becomes incapacitated and reserve one spell slot for such an occasion.
Ian will use Vicious Mockery on any creatures at range preferencing Grum'Shar. In close quarters if an enemy engages him Ian will attack with his rapier, but he will prefer to attack at range with Vicious Mockery.
If a bonus action is available, Ian will use Bardic Inspiration on Akai. If Irma uses his inspiration, then Ian will use it again on him (his last).
Falshen will utilize his bardic inspirarion (assuming time has not run out) to enhance his sneak attack roll on tentacle-face if he has an angle for the shot. If not, he will target Grum'shar instead. Failing an angle on Grum'shar, he will hold his shot until a firing solution on Grum'shar is available, one of his party has serious trouble with a goblin, or a target seems to be intentionally closing to melee range (he will fire if such an aggressor comes within 15' of his position and then draw his rapier).
Akai, incensed at the insolence of a rival spellcaster daring threaten him, unleashes a Fire Bolt in the direction of the half-orc: Attack: 9 Damage: 1
Gregor, more concerned about the goblin within stabbing range of him, unleashes a ray of Frostbite, provoking a Constitution save in Goblin 2: 14
Goblin 1, mindlessly lashing out at the largest target, moves into melee range with Irma and slashes at him: Attack: 5 Damage: 4
Ian, seeing the nearest enemy distracted by the Paladin, moves behind his armored comrade, draws his rapier, and casts Dissonant Whispers on Grum'shar, provoking a Wisdom save: 17
Falshen, failing to find a straight shot at the retreating cloaked figure, aims a shot at Grum'shar, having Advantage on the attack due to his concealment in the back hiding him from the half-orc's view: Attack: 13 Damage: 11

Akai's Firebolt flies wild, striking the ceiling.
Gregor's Frost fails to bite, as Goblin 2 shrugs it off.
Goblin 1 hacks viciously at Irma's shin, but fails to cut through his armor.
Ian's Dissonant Whispers obviously leave Grum'shar unfazed, but his words of encouragement leave Akai Inspired.
Falshen's arrow, however, streaking from the back row like a bolt of death from the dark, takes the half-orc square in the chest, sending him to the floor!
The half-orc groans and twitches in his prone position, still conscious but obviously barely so as dark blood pours from the wound. He pushes himself up onto his knees and hurls a Fire Bolt at Irma: Attack: 15 Damage: 2
Goblin 2, seeing his comrade fail to dent Irma, decides to go for softer prey and moves up to attack Gregor: Attack: 9 Damage: 8
Irma, meanwhile, brings his hammer down on Goblin 1: Attack: 24 Damage: 9
Falshen will focus on finishing off Grum'shar unless G2 looks likely to continue attacking the downed Gregor, in which case he will shift his aim to G2 (gaining another sneak attack if any party member is within 5' of it b/c rogues are broken).
Grum'shar, his fire bolt having splashed harmless against Irma's shield, clutches his head and cries out, Ian's Dissonant Whispers afflicting his psyche with wounds of madness in spite of his earlier resistance: 6

Even halved, the damage from the discordant noise of Ian's malignant melody proves too much for the half-orc's beleaguered brain. Blood explodes from his ears, eyes, nose, and mouth, and Grum'shar collapses to the ground in a welter of gore, quite dead.
Irma meanwhile, has crushed Gobin 1's head like a melon,
while Goblin 2 viciously cuts Gregor down, rendering the wizard unconscious and losing blood rapidly.
Akai, meanwhile, lets loose another Fire Bolt, this time at the only remaining enemy, Goblin 2, who seems obliviously determined to hack Gregor's senseless form to pieces - Attack: 9 Damage: 7
The goblin contemptuously turns aside the thrust of Ian's rapier with his shield, and has just enough time to give a bark of ugly laughter before Falshen's arrow takes him in the throat. He crumples to the ground just as Gregor, his wounds closing, struggles to his feet.
The cloaked entity and its gruesome lapdog, meanwhile, have glided silently through the door in the west side of the room, leaving the party alone with three goblinoid corpses and one unconscious young human.

Ian, pleased with seeing Grum'shar downed, jumps to Gregor's aid by interposing himself between the goblin and his comrade's still form.
Ian lunges with his rapier at the oblivious, maddened goblin.
After doing so, Ian chastises Gregor's inanimate disposition by saying, "Looks like you're a popular one. Get up now!" (Healing Word).

What now, heroes?
Irma sheaths his hammer and heads over to the unconscious body of Neverember and performs "Lay on Hands" to heal him for 1 HP.
