Seeing the others handle the last two remaining fighters, Current rushes over to the muttering elf and pulls a dagger out of her belt as she does so. Calling to the elf, she says, "Defiler, your leader is defeated, surrender now and stop your chanting or you will meet the same fate as your compatriots." While the dagger is pointed at the robed figure, the real threat is in the other hand, where a slim blue tentacle begins to poke out of Current's other hand ready to lash out at the last remaining (potential) enemy should they not stop. Tide will prepare to appear suddenly in the elf's face to distract them as soon as Current is ready to release the tentacle.

As the arrival of Zelda had cleared a small bit of fog giving the party members at least the visibility of 10 feet in any direction, it revealed another set of closed stone doors, on the chamber's eastern wall.
However, as the dispatching of every other target turned Current's attention towards the chattering, shackled elf, in the southwest corner, squishing sounds echoed from multiple points within the chamber. The lifeless body of Zelda began forming itself upright, once more.
Uthal could see raised bumps and squirming lines of something unknown, though likely to be assumed, moving just beneath the surface of Zelda's exposed skin.
Upon fully upright again, she turned towards Uthal. "Come now. Judgement from the gods? I AM a god!" Waving her hand towards Uthal a large thick black tentacle rose from the water (Grid 28S) and struck at Uthal.
Uthal Strength save: 11
Uthal takes 8 blunt damage.
The slimy thing must have weighed twice as much, if not more than Uthal, but the Goliath held strong against it.
Something about the result of this strike exposed anger, on Zelda's face.
As if following Zelda's lead, U2 slumped back upright as well, Anearis and Uthal seeing the same movements under his skin as well, on his exposed hands and face, that Uthal witnessed on Zelda. U2 then once again cast hold person on Anearis.
Anearis WIS save 14
However, once again, it was unsuccessful.
U2 then goes to move north into the fog, away from Anearis and Uthal.
Austin moves on towards the sound of combat. Once she is within sight of the royal, she will send a blast of eldritch power at them. If it hits they are knocked ten feet away from Austin.
Attack: 14 Damage: 8
Austin will fade back into the fog after her strike.
Almost simultaneously, as U2 attempts to make his exit, Anearis and Uthal both swing at him, landing hits. U2 immediately dropped to the ground, once more. U2 is down.
Hearing Zelda's imperious voice fills Ura with nausea. "Why can't the dead stay down,"she mutters, pressing close to the pillar and moving quietly. She stops near Current and gives the girl a grim wink.
Stealth: 20
Getting a line of sight on Zelda, she pulls out her shortbow and nocks and arrow. Taking aim, she narrows her eyes and holds her breath, before releasing.
Following the cover of the pillar, as Ura stealthy moves through the mist, she identifies another form, U1. The first of these hostiles that the party had put down. He to was now back on his feet. (Grid 33R)
Ura's arrow though was meant for the royal, and it found its mark. As she was struck, Zelda went down once again. However the tentacle from the water beside her position remained.

With both of the revived enemies knocked back down, Anearis thought that it might be over. However, he noticed the dark tentacle was still moving. Maybe that had something to do with their ability to recover.
Summoning a flame in the palm of his hand, Anearis flicked it at the tentacle to see how it would react.
Anearis's flame hit the tentacle, and caused the thing to thrash around wildly for a moment before resuming its otherwise relatively motionless state of standing erect from the water.
The flame indeed effected the target, but not nearly enough to cause any considerable damage.
Revived, U1 turned an created and lobbed a silvery black orb at Ura. 3
It missed, splashing away from Ura into a pool of black slithery shapes that soon dissipated.
Uthal sees Zelda rise and be put down again and decides to solve her the way he has many of her friends, with holy fire. He then swings the hammer at the tentacle. "Puny god."

When Uthal's attack lands against the tentacle, it does with such force, that the tentacle reels back, almost as if being pushed by the spiritual weapon, but against after lashing about for a short time, it returned to its previous tentacly composure.
As the combat continued, U3 continued to concentrate and recite the words, opening an eye to peer at the eldritch blast, from Current. Due to the shackles and prone sitting position, he was an easy target, and the tentacle struck him dead center.
His concentration broken, the chanting stopped. There was a loud rumble sound all around, as the chamber didn't necessarily begin to shake, but a slight vibration could be felt.
Current, surprised that even with Tide's help, the tentacle missed, has Tide try and decipher what it mouthed to her. Meanwhile, the genasi heads over to join the fight against the undying cultists as she summons a blue tentacle from the ground and uses it to attempt to strangle the tentacle beside Zelda. With another roar of fury, Current shouts, "The might of the ocean reprimands you for your transgressions." Current lets dark energy rip out from her as strange black tentacles shoot out and grasp a newly revived cultist and attempt to drain its energy.

Current approaches the man and although her voice betrays a hint of hesitation, her words are as forceful as ever, "You had better tell me what that chant was before we find out if you can come back from death like your friends." Meanwhile, Current diverts a bit of her attention to what her friends attacking and summons a long blue tentacle from the ground to wrap itself around one of the reanimated cultists. She also spins and lets a blue tentacle sprout from her hand and strike the cultists. U1 crumbled back to the floor upon being hit by Current's attack, leaving U3 to be the last man standing...sitting.
Current and Tide managed to do little to intimidate the man, however, he seemed to comply, fueled instead by the same rage and fear that shown upon his face. He flailed his arms, restricted by the shackles that held him down to the stone column. He face twisted in anguish as he looked like he yelled something, though no sound came out. He just mouthed words.
However, for Current and the rest of the party, whatever he was trying to communicate, possibly has something to do with the rumble, and the sudden rush of water filling the chamber.

Prompted likely only by Zelda's voice in his head, Anearis was the only member of the party quick enough to act. The water spilled in from the flooded corridor, through which the party entered, and covered the floor with dark waters, obscuring the bodies laying on the floor.
"Sweet Anearis, naive Anearis. We will meet again. I hope by then you have reconsidered your position."
As though due to pressure from the sudden filling of the room, one of the doors on the eastern wall of the chamber crumbled, as water poured from there, as well, through a large sized hole.
((OOC: Anearis is the only one quick enough to perform a simple action (if he chooses) before the water is high enough that party members would be required to swim in order to move around.))
As the water began to fill the chamber, Anearis looked around to find the cultist or Zelda, but couldn’t find where they had gone. But time was of the essence. They needed to go as well before this became their watery tomb. He grimaced at the thought of letting her get away, hearing her playful voice in his head one last time.
Anearis was confident that he could move fast enough to leave the chamber. But some of his companion would probably have a more difficult time. As Uthal was the closest to him, he grabbed his arm and offered him a temporary boon of speed, the wind seemingly carrying the Goliath with every step.
Following Anearis's quick actions, and Assistance to Uthal, his words did not have time for a reply, as the water had now managed to fill the chamber and was now over their heads.
Under the surface, the party members could see a bit better, at least those with dark vision. One of the bodies of the dead cultist's floated by, however Zelda and the large black tentacled thing were no where to be seen.
